Hi, in my iWeb blog, I have the Search field (that a viewer would use) visible. When I upload it to my FTP server, the Search fiels disappears. While MobileMe was around, this was enabled when u had an MM account. Now that MM has gone...how does one make the Search field active in a new iWeb upload?

You can use a Google serach of your webpage by adding the code from this Google webpage, Google Custom Search, to an HTML snippet on your iWeb page.

Now... with the Lion OS there is no iWeb folder under Application Support.

Still another solution: In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder. Once the library if visible again you can backup your domain file as you did before.
For opening your domain file in Lion for the first time or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the applicaiton, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

How to bring search field back in Mountain Lion?

To the third-party developers reading here: Is it possible to bring back the separate search field in the upcoming Safari in Mountain Lion? The websearch from the addressbar is THE killer feature: to kill Safari from my favourite software list. I do a lot of research and it is somewhat awkward to re-type the search queries in the addressbar instead of just click on the snapback button. If there is a terminal hack or plugin to bring back the separate search field, please, please let me know!

Thanks, David. I know this workaround. And one more with creating right-click Service. That's why I've used "uncomfortable" instead of "impossible". In my opinion, Apple should leave ability to choose OS's behavior, and I hoped somebody knew where to find it .

how do i get iweb in lion? it s not a available standard programm. somebody know how to get it?

iWeb is end of life as far as Apple are concerned, the only route to it is to get an old iLife disk. The good news is that it does work in Lion if you can get it.

How do you modify the fields that are displayed in the mail preview list in the center column of Mac mail after you conduct a search of your email? All of a sudden the displayed fields changed on me whenever I do a search in mail. When I have not filtered my email with a search, the default field shown in bold at the top of each message's preview is the "From" field. However, when I do a search this changes to the "To" field. But why would you want this?
iTunes is responsible for the File Management, let it get on with it, you do your organisation in the iTunes window. And everything you need to do, you can do via the iTunes Window. Want to find the file of a track quickly? Right click on it in the iTunes Window and select Show File: A finder window pops open with the file already selected.

How to increase the number of fields to be displayed in search tab

HI,
I have and opportunity search tabOPP_DISPLAY_SEARCH_RESULT. Currently it is displaying only 9 fields . I have 12 fields as mandatory fields but 3 fields are missing still how to get them. We need to enforce this for all users.

Thank you for the reply but the problem is if you see in the personalization we see the fields but I want to make it displayed so that default search list contains the field. The field which I was see by default is a EEWB field and another thing is there any way to remove the number of fields to be displayed as Currently I see only 9 fields in the default list. How can i increase it.

I have created one searc help with dialog value restrictions. Search help contains 4 fields.
Out of which one field has length one character.
As oon as user press on F4 on particular field, it will display pop-up window with restrictions and displayed 4 fields.

Yes, you can do something like that. What you would do is create a button for each image and then hide them. When I do this type of thing I place all of the buttons on a template page and then hide the template.
You can then use JavaScript to copy the icon from any of the hidden buttons to the main button that you've set up to display the image. For example, suppose you set up 10 buttons named b1, b2, b3, ...b10. The code to copy the icon from one of them to the button used to display the image (b0) would be something like this:

// Get reference to the b0 button
var f = getField("b0");
// Set the icon of the b0 button to the icon retrieved from the hidden button

How can I get a search field?

In fewer times there was a field for adress and one for searching. Since the last modification there is no searching field. I like this field. How can i get it back?

How do I add a search field to "Find on this page?"

Hi,
I have a topic that contains 2 frames. The first frame (frame 1) is a topic that I want to add a search field to. The second frame (frame 2) displays external content (a directory listing of files). I'd like users to be able to enter all or part of a file name in a search field in frame 1 and have the matching filenames in frame 2 highlight.
I could tell users to use the "Find on this page" option in the IE toolbar but I'd prefer to put the same type of field directly in my topic.
Is this possible? If so, how?

i created a formatted search query & attached it to the field 'Quantity' at Line Item level in Sales Order screen. just for testing purpose, i eneterd the following code lines in the query validating 'Quantity'

i guess, % operator is used for modulo (to find the remainder of one number divided by another.) ? am i right ?

The problem you have is you need to extend the search in all the layers of the application, So this means the following:
1. You added the field to the context node
2. You need to add the field to be visible in the configuration
Now for the part not being done, the field needs to be present in the structure:
CRMT_BUPA_IL_HEADER_SEARCH in order to work.
Look at the GENIL/BOL class CL_BUPA_IL_HEADER_SEARCH->GET_RESULT_TABLE.
You will also need to implement the BADI in the enhancement spot CRM_BUPA_IL_SEARCH in order to make your search work correctly.
Read the documentation for the BADI BADI_CRM_BUPA_IL_SEARCH_EXT in the search extension for more details. If explains exactly how to do what you want to do.

I tried to add a new search field in the en/lookup_fs.html like this:

It returns a blank screen when click SEARCH button. It has no problem displaying the search window if I rename an existing search field, e.g. Email to MailHost. Is there a limit on the number of search fields to use? How can I solve this problem as I need to add in new search field? Also what is the js script or html to change to include this search field in the ldap search?

Well - it's a report so there won't be a user exit. I think your options are what the others (and you) have suggested - change the standard program or make a copy.
There are different opinions on the forum about which to do.
