However, unfortunately, it's something that people have wanted before and apparently isn't possible, because that's how the Jive software works (which the forum is run on).

I will likely move to Leopard this weekend; and next weekend move from Eudora 6.2 to Mail in Leopard (10.5.6).
A question on sending: I really like to "QUEUE" my messages in Eudora, then send, say 5-10 all at once. Is that possible with Mail?
Also, I like having the IN-BOX (messages rec'd), the OUT-BOX (i.e. messages sent) and a bunch of messages all on the screen at one time-- even the address book -- and then just clicking a corner or going to WINDOW to select. Is that possible with Mail - or do the screens all replace each other?
And I guess Address Book with Eudora (where I have about 800 addresses) is going to have to be imported to Mail - but I don't think it is Mail, rather the Apple "Address Book" program which serves as the address book for Mail - right?
I'm not looking forward to this, I must admit!

Filter option is not working in Reuse alv grid

CASE SENSITIVE
2. U can give *
to search for pattern.
(IN THAT CASE, it is NOT Case Sensitive)

Not to sure what type AVI files they are, the storage devise is at present offshore on a job.
Can you clarify, if you edit/import video footage with adobe premiere 10 and then create a file, the file or the original raw footage is not stored on computer for re-use, if it is stored, is it stored in the original format.

Apply OID search filter for Active Directory Export Sync Profile

- currenlty we have active directory export profile working successfully
- the filter we apply at OID side is SynchronizeToAD!=OID
that means synchronize all ldap data that has a attribute value other than "OID"
- This works very well
Problem:
- We now need to make the export sync work based on a different condition. The condition being....
SynchronizeToAD=AD3 ( Note the equality condition here, the previous one was not equal to )
- The moment we set it to the above conditions it seems to invalidate the filter. Now it behaves as if there is no filter. All changes are synchronized regardless of the attribute value
Question:
1) Need a way to control synchronization based on attribute value.
2) So far tried the below filter value with out success
2a) (&(!(SynchronizeToAD=OID))(!(SynchronizeToAD=AD)))
2b) SynchronizeToAD=AD3
- In the directory we have 3 values for this attribute(SynchronizeToAD) - AD , AD3 and OID

Required section not found in the inf (usb bluetooth)

After thousands of problems installing the usb bluetooth on windows xp sp2, i found a new one: the new hardware wizard will not install the device because of this "the required section not found in the INF", i belive somethig is corrupted in the registry, i found similar problems with scaners or usb joysticks searching with google.
did someone have the same problem? please help!!!

Enchancement Request: IR arrow button in Search Filter uses applied Filters

Hello,
I'd like to request an Enhancement.
I'd like the IR arrow button in IR Search Filter, when performs the DISTINCT to provide choices in list for the user to select, that would take into consideration any other Filters that have already been applied to the IR Report in.
Currently it seems that it ignores any of these already applied filters and provides the DISTINCT list of the default report settings row set.

Ah ha! I figured out a solution. It took one of those "ah ha" moments to do it.
Peter.... thanx for the suggestion, but I am using the built-in Interactive Report settings to hide the Actions button and other things. I am also attempting to hide the section on the page which displays the current filtering, control breaks, etc. that are applied to the report. This is because the page is a public page and needs to be as simple as possible and I do not want the end users to have the ability to turn pre-built filtering and control breaks on and off. The problem is that the user-entered filtering is displayed in the same place as the pre-built filtering and I want to display the former, but not the latter.
I created a display-only item on the page containing the text that should show when the user has entered some search criteria in the search box. I then created a dynamic action which is triggered by the refresh of the interactive report and runs some javascript which first checks if there is "custom search criteria" applied and then hides or shows the display item accordingly. My javascript code is below for those interested.

Removing "Standard" options from the WebUI search filter

Hi Experts,
I have configured the YMCR and Y**** transaction types for RFC, Urgent, Normal and other Changes.
I have removed the SMCR transaction type for standard from dno_cust/04 and I do not see the standard transaction type anywhere now except for all of them showing up in the drop down Menu of the Search filter.
Can you please advise how to remove these?

Can you make sure via SUIM that this object is not assigned via some other role to the user.
there are other ways but if something can be achieved easily why you need to put extra efforts for the same.
Unless someone authorized for SMCR should only see ZMCR for example and if this is not working then there is something definitely wrong because from business point of view if I have multiple customer and multiple transaction type I can view all which is not correct.
I have done this for single and VAR scenario so know that this works.
Or alternative
Create a test user assign only few roles(relevant one's) to this user check it & it must work
e.g. I have logged on using the standard user CH_CM_SID of the system which is created via standard solman_setup and output is shown below for searching change request...........it shows only Z*

Query filter by date not working

We recently migrated to SAP BO 9.0. We have a query that brings up all the job orders (pending or not). The user then filters the query to pick the appropiate data. We have several problems with this approach with 9.0 as a) when you bring up the filter, we can not enter a random date in the appropiate column and b) The drop down list of dates does not bring all the dates available (translation: it bring dates up to 2012 but we have 2014 dates available and that show up in the query)
Any pointers?

1. select " In range" under rule column
2. In value column, choose "space" from drop down list and enter required date
3. Same to way enter date for "To value" column.
4. Choose filter
Query will be filtered as per selected date from "Value" and "to value" dates.

Missing equals??? This is what I entered as the query filter:
(&(objectclass=user)(sn=Test))
I just want to do it on a user whose last name is Test. I took the query straight out of the documentation.
I'm using an older adapter, 9.0.4, so they had me add this in the CustomizedReconQuery property of ITResource. The documentation also states:
The CustomizedReconQuery attribute is used in conjunction with the
isNativeQuery attribute. You use the isNativeQuery attribute to specify whether
or not the query condition is in the native format.
But I don't see a isNativeQuery property in either the ITResource or the Scheduled Task. I'm guessing that's not the issue anyway.
Anyone see any obvious issue I'm missing?

I have a flat file recon process that I believe is my trusted source and this Updates or Creates OIM users. I just want only certain users to update to AD.. only ones where OIM.EmployeeID = AD.EmployeeID.
I got all the pieces together, except that all my OIM users have no EmployeeID, so I want to do a one time reconcliation from AD to get the AD.EmployeeID property into OIM.
Since my ProcessForm's Employee ID field is being populated correctly from Reconciliation, I thought I could take that value and put it in the User form with a "Employee ID Updated" task, but that, for some reason, doesn't trigger as an update from Reconciliation, works when I click Save tho. I guess it's not meant to work that way.
I've never heard of Entity Adapters, but I'll look into it now.

EDIT - OK, so I see Entity is a type of Adapter.... how do I call this adapter? Do I make a process task that calls it? Do I do it as above and name it "MYFILED Updated", or do something else?

Event search filter - clicking the cross causes FCPX to crash

Hi. I have encountered numerous times where I have clicked the small cross next to the event search filter, and immediately FCPX crashes.
This doesn't happen every time so not able to fully re-produce.
Has anyone else encoutered this?

Question about AD search filter

I'm a newbie here. I've AD to OID sync and have the following search filter in the mapping parameters.
searchfilter=(|(objectclass=group)(objectclass=organizational unit)(|(&(objectclass=user)(!(objectclass=computer)))))
Can someone explain what this filter exactly does?
Sync is working for regular users but I want to get users who are members of some groups. How to I change the filter to get groups and members within groups?

It all depends how the code is written. Somewhere there is going to be a setting that says what your multivalue group objectlass is. The frist query will pull your users, and the second will get the userID for each user and query again for that user's groups. Since the groups are not actually on the user profile, the user's are on the group profile.

Search/Filter through Interactive Report!

Hi All,
First of all WISH a very Happy New Year-2010!!
In my previous post for Search/Filter through Interactive Report!
I am facing problem with UI as mentioned below can any one help me out on this, as this an urgent for me...
At last i was able to was able to retrieve the data from Iframe using different logic!!
But i want to modify some of the modifications in UI Design..
As i have informed u that End user always selects the Page-85 which is visible to them..
In that page(85) i have totally created three regions.
1. Attribute Report(Intearctive report)
2. Manage Attribute(HTML where i have give iframe syntax as {iframe ID="Attribute Report" src="" style="width:520;" FRAMEBORDER=0></iframe>
3. Create/Edit Region
FYI: There is a create button in Attrinbute Report and when i click on that Button then only i wil display the Create/Edit Region
Now the problem is end user are using pixels as 1024*756 size, when i have tried to increase the size of width in iframe, the create/edit region is crossing and
need to scroll down to check the data.
Let us assume if i had reduced the size of width as default 520 then create/edit region is placed with in pixcels.
As u know there is a button called as "GetResults" in page-85 when i clik on that button we will call the iframe which is a hidden page where end user
can not view.
The main problem is that in that page i mean page-45, it has desgined in such a way that it is similar to page-85 which is having with all 3 regions!!
When it will display the report from iframe for that the scrolloing is displayed, and when i had click on create button in that iframe the credit/edit region is
displayed but for that there to scroll down which is not happy by endsuer.
In order to overcome this i had tried to increase the width in iframe which is working for one not for the other or viceversa.
Suggestion: Can u suggest me how to fix the pixcels so that it will not excceds the pixecls size?
What i had thought is in page-85 i have created totally 4 regions instead of 3 regions as shown below:
1. Attribute Region
2. manage Attribure(With Iframe)
3. manage Attribute(With out iframe but used one hidden varibable ans set that hidden in condtional region)
4. Create/Edit Region.
And i am setting that hidden variable in Create button, so that i can call the second manage attribure with iframe.. When i have tried to use that it is throwing script error as "style is null or nor an object", i belive scince we are hidinng that region it migh not able to identify that style!!!
Can u suggest me the way i have done i had implemenetd is sounds goods for u? Or else can u help me out how to fix that UI design issue...

As per your suggestion i have created two pages!. One is 85 page and 45 page, but foe enduser can see only the 85 page.
In 85 page i have created a interactive report as shown below:

but i am not able to see the template at all?
