Search for iTunes items by price

Is it possible o search for iTunes items such as movies & music by price? For example all the movies that are $6.99 or any other price by that matter, not just the few that iTunes has listed in their movies home page.

The "big offer" IS what you are missing. The movies that are normally 9.99 being reduced to 4.99 for a limited time but unable to find them is counter productive on Apple's part. If you are going to put movies on sale, you need to have a way for people to find out what those movies are!
It's like a store having a Black Friday Sale flyer with random products that are not on sale, but the store would like you to buy them. You can go to the store to find the Black Friday deals but you have to look at every product on every self in every isle to see if they have a sale sticker on them.
That's how hard it is to find movies that are $4.99 on the iTunes Store now. I used to purchase 5-10 movies a month when the Limited Time $4.99 Movies was something you could just click and see. Now I buy maybe 2-3 movies because I hate clicking on every genre and then every movie in the genre to check the SD price because it only shows the HD and Rental prices in the genre lists.

I am not sure or aware of any API. This should be falling under the catalog functionality.
But the functionality does exist in the front end in the PIM application (resp Product Information Management Data Librarian) there is a functionality of item search (you know that probably). You can explore the OAF pages and related VOs or implementations of that page.

TS1424 The search for itunes wont work..... any ideas?

The search for itunes will not work...I can put the name in but when I click on the search symbol it will not work?

If you want to simply do a 'fresh' install (versus wiping out all of your data and doing a 'clean' install) simply boot to your Recovery partition (hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting) and when the Recovery screen appears, elect to freshly install OS X.
Don't know that will solve your problem, though... did you do the 'automatic' update or download the update as a disk image (.dmg)? I wouldn't think that would be causing your problems...

How can I "search" for Library Items?

I am developing a site in flash and have over 800 Library Items. My problem is, I need to edit a portion of a Library Item and cannot find the Library Item, and NO, I did not delete the Library Item because when I go to preview or test the flash document, the Library Item is there in the movie. Is there any way to search for the Library Item? I am using Flash Professional 8..

I'm not sure how you would search for it if you don't know how to identify it. You should be able to doubleclick on the object on the stage to open it up for editing. When you do that, the stage area will display the library name of the object at the top of the stage border in a tab. Things are ordered alphabetically in the library, so if you know the library name of the object you should be able to narrow down where it is.

Create two Excel templates 'Items.xls' and 'Items_Prices.xls'
Since you have already imported items, just have the record key and item code alone in the 'Items.xls' . For example:
RecordKey.......ItemCode
1.......................I0001
2.......................I0002
In the Items_Prices template, Fill Pricelist Number fromOPLN and Price of the Item
RecordKey....LineNum......Price
1......................1..............350.00   (Means for Item I001, Pricelist 1 is updated with 350)
1......................2..............300.00   (Means for Item I001, Pricelist 2 is updated with 300)
2......................1..............550.00   (Means for Item I002, Pricelist 1 is updated with 550)
2......................2..............600.00    (Means for Item I002, Pricelist 2 is updated with 600)
In step 4 of DTW, Choose
Check - Update Exisiting Object
Uncheck - Import New Object
This should update the pricelist alone for the items

Search for multiple items

Hi all,
     I have a list of around 8000 files names I would like to search for, and move to the trash.
     I have been doing this in spotlight (using "OR" to separate them) and it has been working well, but I find I can only search for about 70 at a time - i.e., I have to perform over 100 individual searches to find them all (I have them listed in a spreadsheet and I just copy and paste into the search field). OSX doesn't seem to like it if there are more search terms than this (I'm not complaining - it seems to be just how it is)
     I was wondering if there was a way (maybe in terminal?) to do the full search on all 8,000 items at the same time?

Filtering app search for "itunes file sharing"

Is there a way to do a filtered search in itunes for apps that support itunes file sharing? Looking by trial and error has not been all that productive. I've found a couple useful apps that use the itunes file sharing: Phone Drive, and Quick Password Manager. I'd also like to find a decent spreadsheet app, that's smaller in size than the giant Apple apps--trying to retain room for some music.
I don't use the cloud or wi-fi, so itunes file sharing is very useful for transfering files, etc. And if there is a app or method for syncing between itunes file sharing and my mac, that would be a bonus.

Anything actually stored in iTunes, docs, apps, ect, should be backed up. If you are bacing up the iPad to iTunes, those back ups files would be in Time Capsule (although I confess, I've never had to extract one).
As for apps themselves, they can always be redownloaded (both on the iPad and in iTunes on the PC).

Search for Configuration Items

Hopefully I am asking this question in the correct forum as I wasn't quite sure. I have a question that I can't seem to find a good answer on the internet and was hoping someone can help me.
When you have something like an SR, you have the Related Items field where you can add someone as a Configuration Item. Is there a way to search for people in there when looking for tickets? So if I type into the search bar John Doe, I am only
getting things that he is affected user on and not the related user on.
The reason is that we get audited and the audit teams need to be able to easily find tickets related to a particular user. So right now, if the service desk gets a request to add 10 users to a group they are making 10 individual SRs to get that affected
user. That way when the auditor goes into the ticketing system and types John Doe, they get the single SR where he was added. I am trying to simplify this for the service desk and save them time but I still need a simple search for the auditors.

Any way to search for transparent items?

Is there any way to search for items that have an opacity of less than 100%? I found that some of the advertisements I placed inexplicably came in at 76% opacity. And I noticed some tiny endmark graphics came in with 0% opacity. I don't know why. I'm just trying to make sure I didn't miss correcting anything.

Err, whoops. That's not going to work, because there's not a list of images in the document, only a list by page. And it's probably better to use Graphics instead, which include, e.g., PDFs. So you probably want instead:

And this iterates over Graphics which are the things inside containers (like rectangles). You might have the transparency applied to the container rectangle instead, in which case you'd probably need to replace allGraphics with allPageItems, except then it would fail on all the objects that don't have a transparency property [sigh...], so you'd need something (ick) like this:

After i search for an item in my bookmarks, how do I get Firefox to show me where in my bookmarks the item is located?

after i search for a bookmark, i'd like the ability to right-click on the search result and have it display where it actually is in my bookmark list. does Firefox already have some way of doing this? if not, it's a feature i'd like to see added. thanks.

I am new to ApEx, I have a request from one of our users to ask if there is a way we can allow them to enter more than one search items delimited by a comma. For instance, we have a text item field for user to enter some values as emp names, when he key in like PETER,SMITH,ALLEN,WARD, once he submit the page he will see the result as:

You can create a multiselect list named P1_REPORT_SEARCH based on a List of Values (LOV) with those employee names and use this code.

Searching for calendar items older than a specific date with search-mailbox and AQS

I need to find the total size of all calendar items in a mailbox older than a specified date using PowerShell through the search-mailbox cmdlet's searchquery parameter. My problem is that I cannot find a complete list of Calendar item properties to
use in search queries. The AQS page doesn't have a complete list of properties for a Calendar object.
I'm using code from the ArchiveStatisticsPlanner.ps1 script as a base and the only date properties I know of are the sent and receive properties (see below.) The basic start, end, date properties generate errors in the query. How can I find all
Calendar items older than say, 1/1/2013?
Sample:

Search for list items by Created Date using caml

Hi all,
I'm trying to find list items with specific attributes using caml.
I created a caml query that uses Last_x0020_Modified and File_x0020_Size for searching items.
then i tried adding Created and Created_x0020_Date both either as Lookup or as DateTime to the caml.
But since i added Created/Created_x0020_Date my query fails with 500 Internal Server Error.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Search for all items belong to parent, child or grand child content type

Hi,
The goal is to get all tasks from various site collection for a given farm. I have about 7 content types and their parent content type is Task. However, the following query is only returning where a list is setup with only parent content type "Task".
{searchTerms} ContentClass:STS_ListItem_Tasks AssignedTo:{User.Name}
If I have a list and Task is the only default content type then the data from this list shows up using above query. However, I have a list say "Workflow Tasks" and it has several content types (Tasks, summary Task, Workflow Task) then items from dont
show up in the search result. Remember, the workflow task content type's parent is task (ctype=0x0108).
Please suggest.
