Search function in Reader, please help!!! at wits end!

I have an excel file with multiple columns converted to a pdf.
When using search function in adobe reader how do I get search to
return a line of data from what was column a in excel to column f?
Now it returns partial data from one line and then wraps around
to the next line and returns data from that line also.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

When it goes from Excel to Acrobat, it "prints" the PDF.
As a printed document, Reader knows no cells, columns or rows. Only text.
I've found that if I export an xls to Word and set it in tables, the printing seems to be more compliant when it's printed to PDF and it's easier to work within the original layout's integrity.
That's the extent of what I can offer. I just don't set many excel workbooks to PDF.
Hopefully there's someone else here with more experience doing this.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

Also, I suggest you start a new post and title it something like First, stuck on update and now on Restore on another computer. Please HELP! And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

There were two issues I saw, when I changed them it worked!

Functions not working please help

Hi Guys, well here it is:
I've been working with flash for a very long time both in as2 and 3 I recently had to re-visit a project in as2 and found something odd.
When I create a movie clip with a name: box_mc and inside I have a function ex:
function go()
trace("go has been activated")
once I go back to the root and call the function like so:
box_mc.go();
nothing happens. It has me totally stumped as I'm sure I've done this a million times what's up what is wrong.
Please help I'm going crazy, is it a setting?

Search function freezes Finder - any help?

i recently reformatted my computer. i wanted to upgrade to 10.4 but my disk for it just didn't want to work in my computer, so i simply put Panther back on. i am currently running 10.3.9 and most everything seems to work well. it takes a lot longer to boot up than it used to but otherwise no complaints EXCEPT:
my Search function doesn't work well at all. when i run a search (any type) my Finder grinds to a terribly slow speed or just totally freezes. i can continue to run any other programs, but Force Quit won't even pop up. i have to turn the computer off by hand.
this was a pain but avoidable until i went to install some software yesterday and found that when the installation program began to "search" my computer, the process froze up (despite repeated attempts).
is there a way to get Search back to normal?

Please explainn the procedure you used for this operation.
Were you using a Full Retail Version of the Tiger Install DVD?
How did re reinstall Panther?
Have you run Repair Disk & Repair Permissions?
What size is your Hard Drive, and how much space is available?
How much RAM is installed, and is it original or added?

Hijacking Safari by Adobe Reader, please help!

After downloading Adobe Reader to my mac (OS X 10.9.1) Adobe starts to opel PDF documents instead of descreet Preview. It is slower and want stil to answer some stupid questions. I`m average user, please help me, how to change it back to open PDF files in Safari by Preview. Thanks a lot Petr

Unfortunately, the most likely cause is due to the Office update as the only known change that occurred just before Lr stopped responding, and it may have corrupted Lr.
If you can't get it to start after trying more things, perhaps you should try uninstalling and reinstalling it as a last resort, an action that may seem daunting now, but that many have done to solve this sort of problem. It's worth mentioning that doing does not affect any presets or your catalog.
Of course, you always have current backups to fall back on, don't you, if you decide to go down the above route?

"The file iTunes Library.itl cannot be read" please help!

i uploaded the new itunes and restarted my computer but now i can't open itunes at all, whenever i try and open it, it says 'The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.' what does this mean and how can i open itunes without losing all my music? please help!

A2109A-F Adobe Reader Please Help Me

I have your IdeaTab 2910A-F; an androld tablet. I like it, but am finding it very difficult sometimes to figure out how to do anything!
I just downloaded the Adobe Reader pak onto my tablet- so I can use bookmarks (hopefully) when reading e-books. I don't htink the Docs-To-Go version I have gives capability for bookmarks - I cdrtainly don't know where such access is if it does.
But the next problem is this Adobe Pak is sitting right there in my Misc storage and I can't figure out how to open/install it or do anything with it.
Can someone please, please help? I'll try to stop back and see if I can find if anyone responds. Please and thank you.

Thanks so much!!! I was able to get the Adobe installed and up and running. I downloaded i thought from adobe.com.
Sadly, I found the program disappointing. In Docs-ToGo I was able to control the size of text - but haven't figured out yet how I can do it if so in Adobe. And I haven't yet figured out bookmarks, which is why I wanted it.
Anyway, at least I have the program up and running, so maybe there's a way to do those things...
Or if anyone knows a way to do bookmarks in Docs-to-Go (that is, IF the version I have does so) - feel free to let me know!

Default Setting for Searching in Acrobat 6 - Please Help!

We are in a bit of a bind and hoping someone can help us out. We need to know if there is any way possible to change the default setting for Searching in Acrobat 6.0 from "MATCH EXACT WORD OR PHRASE" to "MATCH ANY OF THE WORDS".
We know this feature can be found in the Advanced Searching pane, but it needs to be changed for each document individually on a Search. We need to do it globally and automatically so that no matter what we search, it ALWAYS does MATCH ANY OF THE WORDS first without having to go to the Advanced Search pane.
Can anyone help???

When I click the button Subscribe now, it return: "Sorry, this Adobe product is currently not available for sale in your country."
That means I cannot Convert to DOC function??

Adobe Reader is free; there is no trial.
Regarding the ExportPDF service; see https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2596
If ExportPDF is not available in your country, you will need to use Acrobat to convert; there is a 30-day trial available for Acrobat.
If you do have the Acrobat trial install, make sure you open the PDF to convert in Acrobat, not Adobe Reader.

If you extract the files and then open index.html it will open the document catalog
Go to the essbase section - Technical Reference - this will contain calc script commands and functions.
Go to the Financial PM application section - Hyperion Business Rules - Administrators guide will contain further information about Business Rules
