Hello Everyone! I am new member of this forum and this is my 1st post.
I have Blackberry Curve and I have 2600 contacts saved in my Blackberry. About 10 to 15 days ago, I had saved very important number, but problem is that I had forgotten the name with which I have saved that number and is now in a trouble to locate that number. But I know the City, Qualification, Designation and Sector of that person as I like to save detailed information.
So is there is any solution for searching contact in Company name, designation or sector.
Someone here please help.

There no solution for searching contacts through designation, city, sector, etc. in Blackberry.
But this is possible only if you install free application called Zebrost Phonebook Software from www.zebrost.com
After installing Zebrost you can search contacts in every part of every field.
Must try this.

It is not possible to search with Designation, Qualification or City in Nokia.
But this is possible only if you install Zebrost Phonebook (ZPB) + Call Log Software from www.zebrost.com. Its free and users friendly Software. So must try it. It contains other important features also.
The software contains 23 Contact lists fields and it searches contact in every field.

Please see Transfer an Adobe product license for information about transferring your CS5 license to another company. I don't believe that there is a fee involved--but both parties need to complete some paperwork, as outlined in that document.

Hello Jacky,
To combine all the answers above and have a topic-based reply please go through the below steps:
#1. Inactivate the current extension field Company (I see it is actually a String value and this is not what you want to have)
#2. Go to Setup -> System Setup -> Extension Reference Types
Check if you already have a Company reference type
If not, create a new Extension Reference Type for Class Company. Fill in all required information.
#3. Create a new Extension Attribute
Select Data Type: Object Reference
Now you can add the Company type as reference

How to copy Advanced Layout Designer report to another company?

With copy express i cant copy any report that is done with the advanced layout designer (i think in copy express only appear SAP BO standard things). Exist any way to pass those reports to other company? In advance layout designer i cant save the report in a directory that i choose (only appear 'save' and not 'save as').
Where SAP save those reports,in what directory of server?

You can export your layouts from SBO - Administration>Add-ons>ALD>Export Layouts. That will bring up a window where you can select the folder where you want to export to. All layouts will be exported.You can delete the layouts you don't want to import into the new company. From within the new company - Administration>Add-ons>ALD>Import Layouts.

Search fails if ampersand is in "Company" field

I came across an interesting problem this morning when using my address book.
Several of my contacts have an ampersand ("&") in the Company field, e.g. "G&M Landscaping" or "Nashua Harley Davidson & Buell".
This morning, I typed "nashua" into the Address book's search field, and everything came up except the Harley dealership number. This wouldn't be a big deal, except that I was looking for the number and didn't find it.
Has anyone else run across this, and - if so - do you have a fix?

Sometimes a contact in your Leopard address book will be missing a field that the application uses for searching. The info that is displayed in the card and the info that is used for searching is actually separate. If this is ever the case, you can correct the problem by quitting all applications, locating AddressBook-v22.abcddb and dragging it to the trash, and launching Address Book.

Fixed it. Make sure that you do not leave iTunes app while still on search page. Go to something else and then exit. When you reopen the app, the search bar will be back.

Logo designing using grid system

Hello everyone,
I have recently designed logo for a company. I have sent the final files to client but they want the logo to be done according to grid system. Can somebody help me how to add grids in a logo and what is the use of it. I am actually new to logo designing so i am not aware of all the rules to be followed. I have attached the original logo (top) and example of grid system. Thanks in adavance

To work with grids just turn them on View>Show Grid. To add specific guides like the image you just use rules and guides again go to View>Rulers>Show Rulers and View>Guides>Show Guides.
You can also add other guides like the circle you see by drawing a circle normally and then right click it when selected and create a guide from that shape...
This would be best practice to get used to using guides when creating logos, etc then you can show correct spacing and sizes, etc. Just do a search on how to use guides "using guides in illustrator cc" and you will find out all the tricks you need to know.

Enterprise Design Question

caveat: I am brand-new to Enterprise design.
I'm performing a code review for a coworker. Part of the code
deals with displaying database search results in a browser.
The way the code handles this is:
1. JSP asks application for search results.
2. Results returned as an iterator held in an attribute.
3. JSP walks through iterator, adding HTML for each entry.
Is this considered "good" design? It feels icky to me,
but I'm a n00b and don't trust my senses yet.
The general code quality is part of what makes me
question this. For instance, the iterator being
returned is a ResultSetIterator, which has
ResultSet, Statement, and Connection member
variables. Clearly that's wrong.

For a small application just to test some code out, embedding the result list iterator directly into the JSP seems ok... temporarily. But for an enterprise level application, exposing the connection variables, etc, doesn't sound good. What if the JSP were to mess with the connection?!
I wonder if your application uses a data access pattern to separate the SQL/Database specific concerns from the presentation layer (most likely not hence why you are posting). Check out Sun's explanation about creating a data access layer that you can use to retrieve data from the database without worrying about exposing any sensitive data to the browser:

Additionally, to handle iterating over the result sets, you may even think about using the Value List Handler pattern to provide pagination if your result sets are particularly large (ex, need to display info about 50 employees):

Like you, I'm new to enterprise design, but at my company we are layering all the aspects of the code using these and a few other patterns so that we can easily modify one part without affecting another.

Error while user creation/search

I am getting the following exception while trying to create/search a user in OIM 11gR2
oracle.mds.exception.MDSRuntimeException: MDS-00010: DuplicateRefException. In document /oracle/iam/ui/runtime/form/view/pages/userCreateForm.jsff there are multiple elements with the same ID _xg_pfl0
Moreover I am not able to view the user form wherein I can add custom attributes. Searching Form Designer is returning no result.
All other functionalities are working properly.

You get this error if you have duplicate component ids on one of your pages.
MDS its the meta data service which is used to store information about a jsf page in a special repository.

New custom field in the POWL search criteria

Hi experts,
My requirement is to add a new custom field in the search criteria (Parameters)
In my Easy shopping card POWL. I need to add custom fields in search criteria.
I tried appending my custom fields in structure /SAPSRM/S_SEARCHFIELDS
And customized the POWL type DB criteria SAPSRM_FEEDER_SC by adding the custom field
But still the newly added search criteria is not displaying in the
Query SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_01 in powl_query transaction.
Kindly help me to solve this issue

I tried to add an extra Field(Company code) in POWL Search. the problem is the Field Company code doesnt get updated in BBP_PDHSC and BBP_PDISC with the value used in while creating SC.
I only get the Company code value in table BBP_PDBEI for SC.
So when i give any value in POWL search for company code no data is shown even though the SC was created in the inputted Company code.
so how to go about adding CC as search criteria in POWL so that the resultant output is filtered on the basis of CC value.

New Company Code Setup in existing System.

My client has approx 10 company codes and all are working fine. Now the client has acquired a new business and wants to create new company code in SAP R/3. The client has said that I have to copy the entire business processes designed for a particular company code in sap. FICO, MM, SD, CS, IM & PM are implemented here. Now here starts my querries related to this new requirement:
1. Is there any short way to create the new company code with all functionalities of a target company code or I have to go to each and every steps and do the customisation for new company code.
2. Regarding master data, how to copy the material master, vendor, customer GL etc to the new company code from the target company code.
3.What are the precautions which I should take care of during the new company code setup.
4. Your advise as how to go ahead for this.

I think my approach is as follows:
1. Generally, the tables in the sap are client dependent, client independent, company code dependent, country dependent, user defined code depedent.
So, when you use the copy function of the company, most of the company code dependent tables will get copied. The client dependent, client independent are how ever common for all the company codes in the client.
You need to work seperately on the country dependent tables and code dependent tables. Check the most of the tax configuration settings are country dependent. If the new company code is outside of the existing company codes countries, you need to focus on this.
If you find this is difficult in understanding the tables, talk to your ABAPer...
2. Regarding master datas - you need to create at the company code level.
3. The extensive unit and integration tests will help you alot.

I think it would be better to delete this video and do it all over again in a more fluent way. The guys on stage are hard to follow (low volume), they never heard of "Reflection" (a simple app to put the iPad's screen on the big presentation display through AirPlay), and the previewing is cumbersome (could be up and running within 2 seconds in stead of 5 minutes).

Search Criteria not working in POWL

Hello Experts,
I have added the new fields in POWL Search Criteria using the Add custom field to SC and POWL.
but after adding the fields when i try to search using the input made by the user the resultant output is always blank and also there is no data being displayed in the newly added columns.
Please help me so that the correct output gets generated after the user input and the newly added columns are not empty.
