    DAD name: portal30 PROCEDURE : PORTAL30.wwv_edit_tab.edititem
Can you please tell us what went wrong.
    Thanks

    Vikas,
From the server error messages reference:
Cause: An attempt has been made to access a domain index that is being built or is marked failed by an unsuccessful ODCIIndexCreate or is marked unusable by a DDL operation.
Action: Wait if the specified index is marked LOADING Drop the specified index if it is marked FAILED Drop or rebuild the specified index if it is marked UNUSABLE.
It's possible you were loading the document while the index was being rebuilt. Search all_indexes where DOMIDX_STATUS <> 'VALID' OR DOMIDX_OPSTATUS <> 'VALID' to find the offending index and rebuild it.

  • UWL - I want to add the column "item type" in the UWL XML config file

    Hi,
when personalizing a view in the default UWL iView, a user can add the column "Item Type", which shows the icon of the corresponding item.
I want to add this column to a default view configuration in the XML file, so that all users have this column available by default. I guess the right attribute to do so would be the "columnOrder" attribute of a view. I tried to add the value itemType and objectType, but none of this worked, the column did not appear.
    From help.sap.com at
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/39/a1bb5c4c0d4ab4a417e87ef35f1efa/frameset.htm
I found some attributes and I tried statusIcon, externalId and externalType. statusIcon does not show the item type icons and the other two don't work at all. The table shows that they have the attribute "Visible to user = NO".
Does anybody know the correct value which I have to add to the columnOrder attribute or how I have to configure the XML file?
Thanks a lot for any help,
    Fabian

I found it myself, it's the attribute "itemTypeIcon" which has to be added to the columnOrder attribute.

  • Portal URL for file v. text v. PL/SQL item types?

I am using Portal 10.1.2.2.0. From the Portal OWA logger data, how can I tell a file item type from a text item type from a PL/SQL item type?
The OWA_LOGGER_DOC view iis looking for url like '%/docs/%', but all the document URLs are '%/ITEM/%'. The URLs to text items also appear to be '%/ITEM/%'.
How can I tell that a Portal URL is pointing to a document?

OK, I figured out a way to do this in my environment (Oracle Portal Version: 10.1.2.0.2 (Build: 150) ). Your mileage may vary.
I created a procedure which includes the following:
        p_headingText IN VARCHAR2,
        p_fileName IN VARCHAR2,
        p_descriptionText IN VARCHAR2)
    is
        l_portalGuid VARCHAR2(50);
    begin
        select GUID into l_portalGuid from portal.wwv_things where ID = p_fileName;
        htp.p('<p class="PortletText1"><a href="http://[HOSTNAME]/pls/portal/url/item/' || l_portalGuid || '">' || p_headingText || '</a> ' || p_descriptionText || '</p>');
end; This seems to work for me. (Sorry about the long line.) p_headingText, p_filename, and p_description are passed from the custom item type. Good luck!

  • Search string in any type file of a specified folder(DW能查找任意类型文件中的源代码吗)

If search a string in a unfrequent type file,we can add this type in DW's  MMDocumentTypes.xml.
But if a project has many many different unfrequent type files,I hope DW can support search string in any type file of a specified folder.
Can DW help me? I really love DW very very much.

    hello shweta,
Here is a batch script that will do this for you:
    batch file begin ********************************************
    @ ECHO OFF
    :READFILE
    SET | FIND "SEARCH_STRING" source.txt > NUL
    IF ERRORLEVEL 1 GOTO READFILE
    IF ERRORLEVEL 0 GOTO END
    sleep 5
    GOTO READFILE
    :END
    batch file end ***********************************************
here, SEARCH_STRING is the string that will be searched in file source.txt. This SEARCH_STRING denotes the end of file (the file is ready to be transferred).
This batch file should be called from PI "Run OS command before processing of the message".
I tried this on my system and it worked for me.
Just check at your end. I hope this will solve your query.
    Regards, Gaurav.

I have a macbook pro with OSX 10.9.3 and Safari 7.0.4. How do I remove BING FROM SEARCHING when i type something into the search bar

See below if the search engine setting was changed without your knowledge and you can't change it back.
You installed the "Genieo/InstallMac" rootkit. The product is a fraud, and the developer knowingly distributes an uninstaller that doesn't work. I suggest the tedious procedure below to disable Genieo. This procedure may leave a few small files behind, but it will permanently deactivate the rootkit (as long as you never reinstall it.)
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data. You must know how to restore from a backup even if the system becomes unbootable. If you don't know how to do that, or if you don't have any backups, stop here and ask for guidance.
    Step 1
In the Applications folder, there may (or may not) be an application named "Genieo". Genieo may be partially installed even if this item is absent. If it's present, select it and open the Finder Info window. If it shows that theVersion is less than 2.0, download and install the current version from the genieo.com website. This may seem paradoxical, since the goal is to remove it, but you'll be saving yourself some trouble as well as the risk of putting the system in an unusable state.
There should be another application in the same folder named "Uninstall Genieo". After updating Genieo, if necessary, launch "Uninstall Genieo" and follow the prompts to remove the "newspaper-style home page." Restart the computer.
This step does not completely inactivate Genieo.
    Step 2
Don't take this step unless you completed Step 1, including the restart, without any error messages. If you didn't find the Genieo application, or if you couldn't complete Step 1 for any reason, stop here and ask for instructions.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Frameworks/GenieoExtra.framework
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
    from the contextual menu.
If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder should open with an item named "GenieoExtra.framework" selected. Move that item to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your administrator password.
Move each of these items to the Trash in the same way:
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.update.plist
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.engine.plist
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieoinnovation.macextension.plist
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.genieoinnovation.macextension.client.plist
    /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.genieoinnovation.macextension.client
    /usr/lib/libgenkit.dylib/usr/lib/libgenkitsa.dylib
    /usr/lib/libimckit.dylib
    /usr/lib/libimckitsa.dylib~/Library/Application Support/com.genieoinnovation.Installer~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.download.plist
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.update.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those listed above, move them as well. There's no need to restart after each one. Some of these items will be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
Restart and empty the Trash. Don't try to empty the Trash until you have restarted.
    Step 3
From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including ones called "Genieo" or "Omnibar," and any that have the word "Spigot" or "InstallMac" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Your web browser(s) should now be working, and you should be able to reset the home page and search engine. If not, stop here and post your results.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install this software. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad has a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If youever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Genieo developer has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
Finally, be forewarned that when Genieo is mentioned on this site, the perpetrator of the scam sometimes shows up under the name "Genieo support." He will tell you to run the provided uninstaller. As he knows and intends, the uninstaller does not completely remove the malware.

You should use WebUtil for this functionality. Following are the steps to configure WebUtil:
1- Attach the Webutil library with your form available at \forms directory
2- Subclass your form from the WebUtil sub-group. ( open the Webutil.olb from the forms directory and drag webutil object to your form)
3- Download jacob.jar from the following location:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/jacob-project/files/jacob-project/1.8/jacob_18.zip/download
    4- Extract the zip file
5- Copy the jacob.dll to the \forms\webutil directory
6- Copy the jacob.jar to the \forms\java directory
7- Sign the jar file using sign_webutil.bat in forms\webutil directory
8- Add following configuration in formsweb.cfg file:
    [webutil]
    WebUtilArchive=frmwebutil.jar,jacob.jar
    WebUtilLogging=off
    WebUtilLoggingDetail=normal

  • Searching for a good file manager

I'm searching for a good file manager. Konqueror 3.5 is quite good, dolphin 4.1 and konqueror 4.1 are not. Since konqueror 3.5 is going to die due to lack of support in the future, I kind of need to find a new good file manager...
Do there exist file managers with the following features?
Many of these features are things I thought were quite logical to be in a file manager, but seem to be missing in most "modern" ones...
-independent of any desktop (gnome or KDE), just a standalone program
-preferably not being both a web browser and file manager in once, at least not in an annoying way. Konqueror 3.5 shows that being that combination is possible without being annoying.
-ability to have a tree view of the folders on one side and list view showing the files and subfolders of the folder currently selected in the tree on the other side
-detailed list view showing at least filename, type, date and size, and the ability to sort according to any of these properties
-a non-detailed view showing image contents would also be nice, to browse folders of photos or other images
-ability to open files in certain programs if you doubleclick the file, NOT open it by singleclicking, singleclicking may only select it
-ability to select multiple files by dragging box around files or using keys like "ctrl" and "shift"
-ability to do "open terminal here" or type terminal commands in the current open directory
-must have ability to drag files from one folder to another, from list view to tree view and vica versa, to move or copy them
-and must have ability to use "ctrl+c" and "ctrl+v" to copy files and foldes from here to there
-multiple tabs is a huge plus
-favorites (to local folder paths) is also a huge plus
-preview of files when hovering the mouse over them is nice
-must have ability to zip and unzip (or other compression formats) folders by just right clicking them and choosing a zip/unzip command there
-in addition to that, must also have ability to browse through a zip file as you would through a normal directory, and drag files from the insides of the zip file to the tree view to automatically unzip those files there, and of course "ctrl+c"/"ctrl+v" should also work to copy a file from the inside of the zip file, to some other folder on your disk
-no horizontal autoscrolling in the tree view, that is an invention straight from the abyss...

I know exactly how you feel about KDE 4 vs. 3 -- Konqueror was the best part of KDE for me (pretty much the only part I ever used, actually; my window manager is a slightly modified version of WMII and I generally loathe "desktop environments"). KDE 4 ruined it, completely and utterly.
I submitted about 20 different bug reports about Konqeuror 4, mostly features that they'd deleted or mangled; some of them are starting to be addressed now. I don't think they'll ever fix the speed issues though, because those are dependent on the underlying KDE 4 libraries as far as I can tell -- it's as if KDE 4 were purposely and deliberately designed to be slower than KDE 3. Even if they fix all of its deficiencies, that'll probably keep me from using it...
Right now there's KDEmod, which will hopefully maintain its KDE 3 branch for a while longer. It's starting to show some problems, though; I haven't been able to get kdemod konqueror 3 to work fully out of the box (the settings pages are all blank). On my main machine, I somehow managed to hack together some of the KDEmod3 packages so that I have a functional konqueror 3 running alongside the Arch repository's version of KDE4. I'm afraid to pacman -Syu now, though, because it will probably break horribly :P
I don't remember exactly how I got konqueror 3 going like that, as I did it in my initial fit of rage after I did the pacman -Syu that got me KDE4 (a decision I have regretted ever since), but it was something like this:
    1. move /opt to /opt.kde4
    2. make a new /opt
    3. download several KDE 3 packages from the KDEmod3 repositories manually
    4. extract those packages into the new /opt with tar -xzf (NOT pacman!)
    5. try /opt/kde/bin/konqueror
    6. read reams of error messages about missing libraries, segfaults, etc.
    7. try to supply the missing libraries by downloading other kdemod3 packages and manually extracting them
    8. goto 5
Then, when everything worked (sort of), I renamed some stuff so that 'konqueror' is konqueror 4 (I think having it konqueror 3 broke something else, but I don't remember what), and konqueror 3 is called 'k3nqueror'.
If KDEmod3 ever goes away and there's no other good replacement file manager by then, I'll probably take the source code of KDE3 and try to make a standalone version of konqueror out of it. (Which will probably be quite a project because of how interdependent all the KDE components are.)
Some features I "need" in a file manager, besides the ones you mentioned:
    - Konqueror's tree view (where you can expand folder branches in the file list)
    - Infinite view splitting -- I frequently have my konqueror windows split into 4, sometimes as many as 6 or 7 view panes. Very useful for sorting out files.
    - Selection rectangles are sensitive only over files -- I find full-row-select really annoying, because there are no guaranteed "blank" areas that you can click on to clear a selection. I also use this behaviour to grab long-named files that are interspersed with short ones, because they hilight first when the rectangle touches them (you wouldn't think this very useful, but surprisingly often you do want to do something to all the long-named files...)
    - Right-clicking on a folder and clicking "Paste" pastes into that folder, not the current one -- you'd be amazed at how many file managers get this wrong. I shouldn't have to cd into a folder just to paste some files there.

  • Searching for a specific file size

    Hello,
It's been a while but it seems like XP let me search for specific file sizes - e.g. if I wanted to search for files that were greater than 10GB or if I wanted to search for files less than 20GB.
I can't figure it out in Windows 8.1.
If the answer is possible through standard search and not powershell, I'd prefer the GUI way.
    Thanks

In File Explorer (was Windows Explorer), type the search criteria into the box in the top right of the screen and press Enter.
    Example searches are:
A minimum file size, simply type size:>30,000KB into the Search box and press Enter.
type:=.pdf or type:=.doc will display specific file types.
filename:x will display files using a partial filename. x represents the partial filename you want to search for.
kind:video, kind:music or kind:pictures will find all the videos, music or pictures.
If you just click or tap in the Search box, Search Tools will appear which allows the choosing of a Kind, a Size, Date Modified, Other Properties and Advanced search. In Folder Options > Search Tab, the search options can be changed, e.g. Find partial
    matches.
Providing the location is indexed, you can search in File Explorer for a specific word or phrase by typing content:
followed by your phrase enclosed in double quotes. This will produce a list of files matching the criterion.
Speed up the search by opening File Explorer (was Windows Explorer) at the folder you want to search, rather than at the root folder. Also, pressing F3 will show Search options like Date Modified and Size.
Ninety-nine per cent of politicians give the rest a bad name.

  • Oracle Text and Custom item type

I have a custom item type defined that has custom attributes. With Oracle Text disabled, I can use a custom search to find these items either by their standard attributes (name, description, etc.) or their custom attributes. However, as soon as I enable Oracle Text (and allow the indexing process to complete), I can no longer locate these items in a search.
I assume that I need to do something to tell Oracle Text to index these types of items, but could not find anything in documentation. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Also, assuming we get around the above issue, if I have Oracle Text enabled, does this mean I will not be able to find these items after they are created until the next scheduled index update? Is there away around this besides killing Oracle Text?
    Rgds/Mark M.
    Portal 9.0.2.6

The indexes need to be synchronised for the items to be searched and returned. Hence until the next scheduled index update, the item will not be returned. To explicitly udpate the indexes, run the procedure in the portal database connected as the schema owner.
    SQL> exec wwv_context.sync();

  • Use of input  type="file"

    Hellow
    How can I use the HTML tag <input type="file" > in jsp/servlets ?
how can I got the file and saving it?

Take a look at this page: http://search.java.sun.com/search/java/?qt=jsp+upload&x=39&y=6 - it is a search page and you can use it to find whether or not anyone has asked the question you have before. Often you will find that the question you have asked has been asked before, sometimes as much as 29000 times. It is quicker than asking a question for the first time because you don't have to wait for replies. - they are already there. I also believe that if you don't know understand search engines you are unlikely to understand Java.
To help with your search you may want to know that the "file" input type creates a Multipart request and that the term "com.oreilly.servlets" may well be relevant too.

  • Registering Item types

    Hi Experts,
    I am a workflow developer.
When we try to add configuration about the action to be taken when user clicks a task, we dont see required task IDs in the XML file that is generated. It does list some of the custom developed tasks but not all. We have tried all possible things we could do.
All the tasks that are displayed either refer to
    BO DECISION
    Method Process
    OR
    BO WEBSERVICE
    Method PROCESSDIALOG
Anybody is aware what Portal tries to read when you click Register item types from UWL configuration? I want to figure out why all the tasks developed in ECC are not reflected on portal.
Note: we see all the tasks in UWL when they are assigned to any user irrespective of whether they appear in XML or not.

Whenever you register a system and its itemtypes it will create an XML file with the System name. For e.g.: if you configure UWL to connect to SAP_ECC_HumanResources  then SAP_ECC_HUmanResources.xml will be generated with all definitions.
You can view/download the file by logging to Portal with an Admin id and navigating to System Configuration --> System Administration --> Universal Worklist Administration. I don't remember the last path but there is a link probably called View Item Type definitions or something in middle section.
Also please note that any changes in Backend through SWFVISU will not be reflected in Portal UWL unless you re-register the system.

If you see  "Backups" category on the internal drive, it means that Time Machine is creating local snapshots. Read > http://pondini.org/TM/30.html
Local snapshots are deleted when the internal drive is getting full, so you don't have to worry about local snapshots
