  • Defining keys for the web

Can anyone please let me know if it is possible to redefine keys for web forms. I can do this for the client/server version of the application but no for the web application.
I have tried editing the FMRWEB.res file but cannot access it using Oracle Terminal.
    Any suggestions/assistance would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dave

You can directly open the FMRWEB.RES file in your editor (Notepad or Wordpad) and then change the keys according to the example shown in this file. You need not use Oracle Terminal.

  • Search-Mailbox for Message Header Content in Management Shell

Can I use the search-mailbox command to search for message header content?
The reason I ask is because I need to search for any emails that came in to an email alias address.
I am searching a journaling mailbox.
Normally, I would do soemthing like...
Search-Mailbox -Identity "journalbox" -SearchQuery '"To: [email protected]"' -TargetMailbox "exportbox" -TargetFolder "exported_messages"
The problem is, because I'm looking to find the emails coming to [email protected], when the messages are journaled they appear as "To: [email protected]" in the journaled envelop message.
In this scenario if I could simply search header content for the email ([email protected]) that would accomplish what I need.

    Hi,
We can use the Search-Mailbox cmdlet to search messages in a specified mailbox and perform any of the following tasks:
Copy messages to a specified target mailbox.
Delete messages from the source mailbox.
Copy messages from the source mailbox and delete them from the target mailbox.
Perform single item recovery to recover items from a user's Recoverable Items folder.
Clean up the Recoverable Items folder for a mailbox when it has reached the Recoverable Items hard quota.
To search for message header content, we can use Get-MessageTrackingLog cmdlet.
Here is an article for reference:

  • When I am in e-mail. I get the spinning color wheel. Then, when I check the activity montior, it notes high cpu usage (99%) for "Safari web content.". then I quit this process and cpu usage drops way done. but I have to log in again to my e-mail. what can

When I am in e-mail, I sometimes get the spinning color wheel, which lock up everything. when it doesn't go away, I see on the activity monitor, that CPU usage is very high (99%), for a process calles " Safari web content'. When I click on the proccess and quite, the CPUusage goes way down. Problem is that I have to then log back in to e-mail. What can I do to eliminate this proble.  thanks

How much FREE RAM do you have when this occurs. It's easy to tell, when it beach balls open Activity Monitor (Applications - Utilities - Activity Monitor) click the System Memory tab and note how much FREE RAM is listed. If it's 500MB or less it's time for a RAM upgrade.

  • Any fix for Safari Web Content 100% cpu?

Last I checked, the only fix for this was to restart the browser.  Of course, it eventually comes back.  My cpu stays between about 75% to 99% because of Safari Web Content process.
Besides restarting the browser, has any one run across a fix for it?

From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

  • Do I need a license key for iPlanet Web Svr 6?

We downloaded and installed an eval copy of iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise edition. Then we bought a license for it from Programmer's Paradise. What we got was a nice certificate, with a "Product Number" on it. There's no license key on the certificate, and no apparent place to put one in the web server's admin screens. Do we need to do anything at all to legitimize this web server before we put it in production?

    Hi,
    As i know.
    # There's no license key on the certificate, and no apparent place to put one in the web server's admin screens.
You need't to put any liceense key on web server admin screens.
    # Do we need to do anything at all to legitimize this web server before we put it in production?
no need to put anything with iws. I hope you can go to production.
Make sure that don't put eval copy in production machine.
    Thanks,
    Daks.

  • Search function for external html content

    Hi all,
i have got a Flash Projector which is to be deployed on
DC/DVD rom. I am using an XML menu to load various chapters and
sections of html content, images etc. The client is now asking for
the capability to search within the "books" content.
Is there any way of doing this? I have found an Extension
that allows me to search within a text field, but what about
    external content files?
Please help. I've had a quick look at Director, but I can't
see any guarantee that that product will give me an easier
solution, not to mention the weeks or relearning and
    redeveloping...

You probably need to read all the data into Flash and do the
    searching in Actionscript.
Director as I recall has better access to the OS so it could
potentially read a local database. However you should continue to
consider how to accomplish in Flash.
If you want to explore accomplishing the same with Flash then
look at third party products such as Zinc that will allow you to
    get to the OS.

  • Short of dismantling and recreating a page how do i find out whats causing [Error: Invalid URL for Web Content Overlay]

    Hi,
i received an indesign file to include in a folio that had links to the creators desktop where they had the assets for the web content overlay. When i try to update the folio i get the error message:
    "Content generation error.
[Error: Invalid URL for Web Content Overlay]"
    Which is fair enough.
The problem is, i have gone through and changed all URLs that I can see, but there is one somewhere, that I just can't find.
Is there a way to get a list of all web content overlays in a particular file? otherwise i will need to recreate the whole page again, and it has some pretty complex interactions which i rather wouldn't do.
I also cannot ask the original doc creator to just change the links as i'm sure he'll have the same issues as me, at not being able to track down the erroneous link.
The problem I have with DPS is that its not very transparent. you'll have to click on everything, and into every group to see what actions are on it, which can be extremely time consuming and frustrating when complex interactions are included.
thanks in advance for any assistance

I’ve found watching the process helpful to narrow down the page.
Working off a duplicate of the file, delete one layer at a time until you figure out what layer the problem is on.
From there it’s a bit easier to narrow down.

  • Use native webkit renderer instead of Adobe Air for web content (getting webgl running)?

I'm doing a little R&D right now to see what is possible with the DPS in order to evaluate if it's the right (powerful enough) tool for us. Right now it's for internal purposes, that is a DPS app/magazine as a means of showing our clients our work. One idea I had was trying to use WebGL features in order to create things such as turntables (or even 3D walkthroughs of things like fair booth designs with pre-baked textures in order to ensure proper performance), however unfortunately the content viewer seems to be using Adobe Air 4 for rendering web content, which means WebGL isn't supported. Am I right about this?
Is there any way how we can get around this? The Adobe Air viewer seems to be extremely limited in terms of HTML5 feature support, including lack of proper rendering of Edge Animate compositions.

If you are an existing DPS customer you can go to https://appbuilder.digitalpublishing.acrobat.com and create a custom viewer to test.

  • Requesting a license key for WEBAS 640 SP9

    guys
i am trying to request the license key for my webas my temp one has already expired. i cant seem to find my hardware key ,i tried looking in configtool but i cant seem to find it can you guys help me out please?
    thanks,
    Guy

Make sure the connection is configured as "Direct Connection to Dispatcher" and "Default" transport layer.
Is your Web AS running on port 50000?
Also, if you are having license problems and you loose your temp license the Web AS will only run for 30 minutes so start it up and try to connect within that time limit.

  • Web Content Overlay Link to the HTML Resources

    Hi guys,
Does anyone know what should go inside of "URL or File" field for the Web Content overlay if I need file from the HTMLResources.zip?
DPS documentation is very unclear/confusing (e.g. there is no ".html" at the end):
For the file inside of HTMLResources.zip with this path:
    HTMLResources.zip/Cartoons/train1.html
    Documentation (https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/help/hyperlink-overlays.html#link_to_asse ts_in_the_html_resources_folder) has:
Web Content overlays are nested two levels deeper than an HTML article. Example:
    <a href=”../../../HTMLResources/Cartoons/train1”>See Train Cartoon Gallery</a>
I'm getting an error "File URL for web content is missing or does not exist" if I enter this inside of the "URL or File" field:
    ../../../HTMLResources/Cartoons/train1
    Thank you for your help,
    Gennady

    Thank you, joev and Bob,
Update to the text below: I just realized that documentation explains how to call some file from the HTML content of the Web Content Overlay, not how to get the HTML content inside the Web Content Overlay. I can probably do redirect to the train1.html from plain HTML code inserted into Web Content Overlay. So there is no way to use link to the file as for the http://webServerPath/Cartoons/train1.html?
We have 1 html file that uses 1 image file, both files inside the folder inside HTMLResources.zip and I need to display that html, so:
    HTMLResources.zip/Cartoons/train1.html
    HTMLResources.zip/Cartoons/train1.png - referenced inside train1.html
If I use http URL, e.g.
    http://webServerPath/Cartoons/train1.html
then everything works, if I try to set that URL to the HTMLResources:
    ../../../HTMLResources/Cartoons/train1
    or
    ../../../HTMLResources/Cartoons/train1.html
I'm getting an error, even documentation explains what link should be used.
Workaround when we just use the local HTML folder also works.
    Thank you!

  • Add Copy/Image Above/Within Web Content Overlay?

I'm attempting to add a 'this page requires an internet connection' line either within or above a web content overlay but can't get it to show up if there is no internet connection (aka the main point).  I'm basically trying to achieve the following from National Geographic:
Any ideas on how to accomplish that within DPS?

You may program local HTML file, that will check connection and either will display the 'this page requires an internet connection' message or will redirect user to the server's page. Then point to it from "URL or File" field for the Web Content overlay, so it will be saved inside the folio and will be available if no internet connection.

  • Web content overlay: that blasted spinning wheel

    OK,
    I need some pointers.
I am placing in animations made with Adobe Edge and they look good, however, onload you see a spinning wheel until the content loads in. I am looking to disable that spinning wheel.
    How do I do this?
How does The Wired magazine do it? How do they have visusally rich content without that blasted wheel?
All and any help, gratefully received!
    Billy.

I figured out a way of hiding the spinning wheel, but it's a bit dodgy in a round-about way... It would be great if DPS can actually give us the option of disabling this feature.
I placed the Web Content Overlay object (that contains the HTML file) into an MSO. The first State is a blank object and the second state is the object that contains the HTML file.
My settings for the MSO is:
    Tick: Autoplay
    Delay: 0.5 sec
    Interval: 0.125 sec
    Play: 1 time
    Tick: Stop at last image
    Tick: Cross Fade
    Speed: 1 sec
    Export Format: Vector
My settings for the Web Content Overlay is:
    Tick: Autoplay
    Delay: 0 sec
    Tick: Transparent Background
    Tick: Allow User Interaction
Let me know if this works for you too!
(But please Adobe, please give DPS the option of disabling the spinning wheel).

  • Web Content Overlay | Local images do not load

    Hi there,
the tutorial for the Web Content Overlay says, that you have to place all images and scripts in the same file folder, as the html-file itself, when you are using a local html-page.
    example:
    index.html
    pic1.png
    pic2.jpg
Unfortunatlly it isn`t working. Why? Any ideas? The pictures are not visible on my device or the folie preview builder.
And yes, if I open the html in my browser (like firefox or chrome) it works well.
It works only with pictures, which are hosted online on a server.
    Thanks for answering.
    Bart

    It finally works!
I tried a lot, but now I know the misstake/failure/bug.
Unfortunatlly Indesign uses a absolute Link to the local Webpage.
    example: C:/Jobs/Customers/CustomerFake/JobNo/v1/index.html
If this URL is too long (more than 40 characters), it does not work.
At first I thought, that my path was wrong, because I used german characters like ä or ß. But this doesn't matter. Its all about the lenght of the URL.
