Search not turning up tv shows or movies

I'm running 11.2.2.3 of iTunes for Windows. In the iTunes store, when using search, I can no longer search for tv shows or movies. I thought it might just be a Windows thing, but I get the same result running searches on my iPhone (4S, running iOS 7.1.1). In iTunes store, there are no options to search for tv shows or movies any more. I should be coming up as in the US (and I'm still physically in the country)... so this just doesn't seem right. Is there a problem? Poked around a bit online and haven't found any indications of one, but this has been happening for a while now...

Problem found. It was between keyboard and chair (i.e. me).
I was searching for the Legend Of Korra. About an hour after I previously searched for it, the seasons and episodes of the tv show stopped coming up (and no option for that type in search). Turns out, stupid studio pulled them, from what I can tell.
Searches for things OTHER than Legend Of Korra are working normally apparently. I was just foolishly assuming that my search from about an hour previous would not just stop working because of studio ********. I should have known better.
Lesson learned. Sorry to have troubled everyone. False alarm... stupid user alert. It's really aggravating when studios pull this kind of thing...

There is a hardware problem. Whether it's worth it to you to have no working phone for 2 months until you can update vs paying for replacement/repair now is a question only you can answer.

Welcome to the community!
Seems OS is corrupt, so you have to arrange a USB cable to connect your devci with the pc.
Procedure to install OS:
1.) Download and install blackberry device software of Blackberry 8520 from www.blackberry.com.
2.) Install it in your PC & connect your device with PC.
3.) Access path c:\prog. files\Common files\ Reasearch in motion\ App loader\ now dowble click on loader.exe
4.) Further procedure i very user friendly, so please follow steps (may take approx 90 mins).
5.) In between, it will prompt you to take backup as well, so do take care while clik next or continue.

Before doing above activity you may try
By pulling out battery & connect device with charger without inserting battery & wait for 5 to 10 mins.
Itwill prompt you a no battery sign on your handheld, once you get the sign on your handheld, insert battery without un plugging charger 7 wait for another 5 to 10 mins. Hope this will work for you....
otherwise you have to perform the first procedure, i mentioned...

There are only a few things that prevent an iOS from charging When using the charger that came with the iPhone and having that plugged into a wall outlet.
1. No power in the outlet.
2. Bad charger. Try a different charger.
3. Bad cable. Try a different Apple branded or name brand cable.
4. Dirt, lint or fuzz in the connection ports. Check and carefully clean with a wooden toothpick if necessary.
5. Software glitch. First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
6. Hardware failure. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

It will only play when placed on a docking station and then I cant scroll to pick songs, I can only go to next song using buttons on docking station.

You will need to have the hold switch replaced.

Ipad will not turn on but shows in itunes?

I have an iPad 4S which has been working absolutely perfectly until now. I put it on charge after it ran out and it will not turn on now. I have connected it to my PC and it shows up in iTunes but still won't turn on. At one point I tried moving the lock screen switch and this made the "Padlock" icon visible but nothing else.
Now the screen stays dark other than when I press the main start button and then I can see the Padlock icon and nothing else.
I am on iOS 8.1.1

Ipod not turning on but shows ok in device manager?

I bought my ipod from the apple store in florida about 5 months ago. I woke up this morning and went to turn it on and it wouldnt. I left it in my laptop most of the day and still no change. Its shows up in the device manager and says it is workin properly. However it also says that a USB mass storage device is not functionin properly whenever the ipod is plugged in . Any ideas?

Almost certainly your drivers for usb/firewire (whichever you're using) are screwed. Try ininstalling then reinstalling the hardware. You don't have to actually remove anything, you're just telling windows to forget hardware, then asking it to detect any hardware it didn't know about, and install it.

Has he tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds after which the Apple logo should appear - he won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The error 2001 you are getting can be related to a few different problems, however it appears to be isolated to a PC related problem.
The fastest resolution would be to try the restore on a different (known working) PC & network or different PC at the very least. Should that not be possible your local Apple Store should be able to get the iPhone restored for you on either a test machine or with one of the Genius Bar staff.

I have an iphone 3g used, jailbroken. Worked fine till last night, left it in car, woke up this morning and was off. I plug it into car charger and now apple logo went on, then fades out and nothing adter 30 seconds. I went to store and guy said to reboot in itunes. I plug it into my computer and NOTHING! wont detect it or even give the apple screen. I plug it into my car charger, hold home and power button and I get the plug into itunes screen. As soon as i unplug it to connect to laptop itunes, the phone shuts off. Help! My business is on this phone. When it is plugged into i tunes, i just get a faint black screen. I only get apple logo when plugged into car charger.

Try to force it into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the USB cord. Press and hold the home button while plugging in the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. Possible to move iTunes 'Music'... but not 'Podcasts, TV Shows, or Movies'

I currently have an enormous iTunes library. I have about 1 TB of movies which is currently stored on its own hard drive separate from any of my other iTunes media (I'll refer to this drive as "Drive X" from here on out).
Aside from these movies, the rest of my iTunes media (which includes Podcasts, TV Shows, and Music) is currently being stored on a different external hard drive (henceforth referred to as "Drive Y"). "Drive Y" is is also the location of my my iTunes Music Folder (as specified in the iTunes application preferences)
I have about 20 GB worth of music, which is not really that much, and I would like to move this music back into my 'User>Home>Music' folder on my primary internal drive...My reasoning? - I've started using an online backup/synchronization service called SugarSync, which I was hoping to use to do two main things:
1) Create an online backup of my music, and...
2) To allow me to stream this online backed-up music to my iPhone wirelessly, which is one of the services that they offer...

One of the unfortunate downsides of SugarSync is that it's only capable of syncing files that reside inside of the User>Home directory... thus, my rational for wanting to move just my 'Music' to my User>Home>Music directory, and not my Podcasts, TV Shows, or Movies.
My goal here would be to do so while somehow leaving my TV Shows and Podcasts (which have an accumulated size of about 200GB) on "Drive Y" and leaving my Movies on "Drive X".
Is such a thing possible (without losing all of iTunes' track specific metadata, such as playcount, etc, etc...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Update:
Still having issues getting new videos to show in the "Movies" or "TV Shows" categories of iTunes. However, last night I discovered that Home Sharing on my iPad lists the newly imported videos in the Movies category (iPad & Video app). So, the files aren't corrupt or anything like that. It just seems like I need to 'refresh' the Movies page. Is that possible?
Since I can see the files on the iPad now, I want to remove the extra copies of movies I imported. But, since I can only find them in Playlists, how can I delete them?

Front Row TV Shows in Movie folder!!??

Why are my TV shows showing up in my Movies folder when I use Front row, they are in the TV show Folder when i am in iTunes??
This started with the last itunes update, never had the problem before.

+For 10.5.8 and iTunes 9 at least, select the show(s) and change the media kind to "Podcast" by getting info then going to "Options". Quit iTunes and restart then change media kind back to TV Show and restart again. They will now show up correctly in Front Row...+

Everything fireflip suggested is correct Except that *+each file must be changed indivdually+*, no batch-editing here. I tried that and had to trash them all, then re-import them from my external HD. Also, I don't remember if I needed to close iTunes and reopen it before changing back to TV shows (I think all I had to do is close out the info dialog box, then reopen it to change back to TV). You may want to try it both ways.

I Pod 80 Classic Will Not Turn On
