Search of BT Yahhoo Emails

It has only started in the last couple of days, when I carry out a search on Bt Yahoo, emails which I have deleted still show up in my search results even though my trash folder is empty. The same situation applies if I move emails from my Inbox to another folder, the search results still show the email in my Inbox even though it has been moved.
The same situation occurs if I use FireFox or Internet Explorer.
Any thoughts please.

I've changed computers to see if my search problem can be resolved but still no luck. I've even been on "chat" with BT help and they couldn't really resolve my problem other than say they were aware of BT mail problems and asked if they could have remote access to my PC. I put off giving the operator remote access but agreed they could telephone me next week to see the current state of play.
Wlhilst I appreciate no one on the forum has an answer to my query I would apprecitae if someone could carry out a seach of emails to see if newly arrived emails appear in their search result or if recently deleted emails do not appear in the search result.

have a hybrid scenario, exchange 2013 and office 365
what command should I use to search and delete an email from the organization mailbox i.e. I do not want that email to be in any users inbox.
I have tried this command but it does not work, it says search-mailbox is not recognized as the name of the command let.

This can be accomplished by search-mailbox command
First you need to create a new role group
To Create – New-RoleGroup “Mailbox Import-Export Management” -Roles “Mailbox Import Export”
Then add the user to the group
To Add user – Add-RoleGroupMember “Mailbox Import-Export Management” -Member Administrator
Search the mailbox
get-mailbox -ResultSize unlimited -IgnoreDefaultScope | search-mailbox -SearchQuery ‘Subject:”virus infected”’ -LogOnly -TargetMailbox administrator -TargetFolder filter -LogLevel Full
Now we need to run the below command to search the infected emails and delete all of them in the whole organization
get-mailbox -ResultSize unlimited -IgnoreDefaultScope | search-mailbox -SearchQuery ‘Subject:”virus infected”’ -TargetMailbox administrator -TargetFolder filter -deletecontent -LogLevel Full
Also you can do a message tracking with the subject and delete them
Get-ExchangeServer | where {$_.isHubTransportServer -eq $true -or $_.isMailboxServer -eq $true} | Get-MessageTrackingLog -Messagesubject “Virus Infected” | Select-Object Timestamp,ServerHostname,ClientHostname,Source,EventId,Recipients
| Sort-Object -Property Timestamp

What happened to searching the body of emails in iOS 5?

Although Apple advertised it as a feature of the mail app in iOS 5, I am unable to search the body of emails.

It is there but it is AWFUL. It took at least 20 MINUTES to complete a search. I also switched to show last 1000 messages. I was hoping that would help, but it hasn't.
I can search on my webmail much faster than that.
I just tested this specifically for this post and Mail first found 2 then 4 messages in the 1st couple of minutes. Then after searching for more than 20 minutes it found about 7 more emails. Then after 23 minutes it finished searching and returned all 23 results. That is atrocious. And it takes the same amount of time no matter how many itmes you reperat the search.
Sometimes you just see the spinning gear in the menu bar and sometimes you see a searching message at the bottom of the screen too. Sometimes you see a message saying it is checking the server.

How do I search for a particular email message, or set of email messages, by sender, topics, etc. on the iphone?

When searching for email messages from within Mail or when using Spotlight, you can search the To, From, and Subject fields. Search "All" searches all three of these fields. The text, or body, of messages is not searched.

How do i search for an old email in time machine

I have tried using spotlight as the online help suggest and launching time machine but nothing seems to happen after time machine opens.
Am I being impatient?
Can it be done from mail?
Also how do you stop Time Machine backing up emails; which folder do you choose in TM preferences?

Finding it difficult to search the old & recent emails in outlook 2013

We are using the POP account in outlook 2013.When we search the old mails,it taking so much of time for searching and it is showing No message found.
Recently last week ,we have received one mail and we tried for searching particular email id in search box of outlook 2013.But it is showing No Message Found.After that i have searched manually one-by-one and i have the got last week email received from
that particular email id.
Please let me know what is the easiest way of searching all the old mails in outlook 2013 and what are all the keyword to be used for searching the old mails in outlook 2013.We are using the pop account in outlook 2013.

As per the information and details provided by you, for searching all the old mails in Outlook 2013, please follow these steps: -
Search for a specific time frame
If you are looking for messages from a specific period of time, try adding those dates as a condition. In the Advanced Search box, type the following, using your time
frame for the mm/dd/yy spaces:
Received/between/mm/dd/yy and mm/dd/yy
Increase your search limit
If you want to see more messages than the 250 that Outlook will automatically bring up for you, you can bypass this limit.
Go to
File > Options > Search.
Uncheck the
Improve search speed by limiting the number of results shown, check box in the
Results section.
Click
OK and then restart Outlook for the changes to take effect.
Adjust your cache settings
Outlook 2013 will automatically keep an offline cache of messages going 12 months back. If you want to change this setting:
Go to
File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
Check the Exchange account you want in the
Email tab, then click Change.
Under
Offline Settings, adjust the slider to change the amount of the time that your mail will be stored in the offline cache. Make sure the
Cached Exchange Mode box is checked.
Exit and restart Outlook for the changes to take effect.
Search through subfolders
To search through subfolders in addition to the current folder, look for a box next to the search box that has a drop-down menu. Select Subfolders from the menu. You
can also choose the search the Current Mailbox or All Outlook items.

Using aol it will not search for specific old emails by name

USING FIREFOX V.34.0 AND AOL TOOLBAR 2.2 WITH WINDOWS 7.
WHEN I USE THE SEARCH FIELD IN AOL TO SEARCH FOR AN OLD OR NEW EMAIL BY NAME IT WILL NO LONGER FIND ANY EMAILS. IT USE TO.

Doesn't AOL have support for AOL Mail? Or maybe an AOL Toolbar support forum?
Sorry, I can't see how this is even vaguely related to Firefox support; other than you are using a 3rd party Toolbar in Firefox.

When i make search in my old email, when i want to open some of them for a lot i cant. For some no problem. There are emails from the same folder in same dates.

I search in my email something. When want to open the content from the emails, for some i can but for other i cant.
Same type of emails, same date, same attachments.

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

Outlook 2013 Advances search only shows cached emails

Hi all,
We have rolled out Outlook 2013 with cache mode on, we have set caching to only one month of data. We are using Outlook 365 as our exchange server.
Quick search works as it should and shows all the results. However, advanced find only shows results from the cached emails. IE nothing older than a month. I have run a re-index etc but still have had no joy. Is there something I am missing?

UCxn - Query to search for a specific email address

I've got an odd issue...I've got a user in our London office on a completely separate voicemail system (Unity 5) that is receiving SMTP notifications from the voicemail system (UCxn 9.1.2) here in the US. I'm wondering if there's a query I can run against the database to search for her email address and see if it is in the US cluster someplace? I'm not a DB guy at all, so when it comes to SQL, I'm lost.

You can try the user data dump from the ciscounitytools online and then just search the output and see if it's in there.

I have macbook pro and when I typing on any tabs like google search on writting an email it bugs

My typing process block instantly when I fill the google search or when I writing an email and it warns me by the mac book pro bug sound. The only solution I found, is to select a zone outside of the writing area then select back the last letter I was typing.... This occur more often when I use deleted button (to correct a word writing) or when I want to move into the text writing.

Search is showing deleted emails

The new search feature in 3.0 is displaying deleted emails that have been emptied from the trash. The same emails are not accessible at all from within the Mail program. I thought this was an issue when upgrading the system, but after a complete restore, without copying anything from a backup, the same thing is happening. Any way to permanently delete emails from memory so they do not show in spotlight search?

Recently upgraded to 3.01 and using spotlight search I've noticed the same. Maybe this explains why I'm sure my phone is slowing-up. Spoke to apple tech support today and I was told that the next O.S release will include something to remedy this and make it possible to clear the cache. I was informed they have been trying to resolve this issue and the O.S release is due later this month (Sept 09). The other suggestion given by tech support of restoring as a new phone seems a ridiculous way to sort this out - I'll wait for the new release. Just doing a restore will reload the previous info back on from the backup. Naming/restoring as a new phone will effectively mean there is no backup available to go onto the phone once it is totally erased. Hope this helps and makes sense
