Search pops up without being pressed

Nokia lumia 720. Problem is that the bing search page pops up without bring pressed (the Phone vibrates too). This is very annoying, because it happens all the Time whe, i am running other Aopa (during browsing, maps and Camera). Pls help with this. Is it a hardware or software problem?

- Try resetting the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next would be to restore from backup followed by restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

My MBP 13" retina 10.8.2 is new, clean, nothing spilled on it.
Ocassionally I connect it to external keyboard and mouse (USB or BT).
Regardless of that, sometimes the SHIFT key gets randomly locked - Without being pressed (whether the native keyboard, or when connected to external).
I could just be browsing the internet or be viewing a document in Word or GDocs, and suddenly - while mouse-scrolling - things will get selected, and the mouse-click becomes SHIFT-Click only.
When it happens, disconnecting/reconnecting the external keyboard or mouse has no effect - the problem persists.
The only workaround I found is to put it to SLEEP when it happens, and immediately wake it up.
The problem started a few weeks ago, and the behavior is completely random (it can happen twice in 10 minutes, or once a week).
Any ideas anyone?

Weird keyboard button is triggered inconsistently without being pressed

I have a weird problem when my g50-70 laptop start gettting hot, the 6 button is getting triggered continiously and sometimes randomly like if someone is pushing that button for long, but it's not physically pushed. After that, if I push the 66 button6 it does not work untill I push hardly.
This problem occured regardless of operating system it's only with 6666the built in keyboard.

If the number 6 key is being triggered continuously before logging in to the OS (e.g. on the Windows login screen) then it's likely that the keyboard is showing signs of failure (could be grounded or just defective) and you may need to contact lenovo for service.
As for the unit getting hot, does this happen if you run graphics extensive applications (i.e. while gaming)? Can you consider running HWmonitor to check the GPU/CPU temps and observe.

Complete web pages (in the form of ads basically) pop up without being prompted in a new window even with adblocker on.

A few times per day, on average, a new web page will appear in a new window...basically marketing their product or solution. I have ABP turned on. I'd like to know how I can prevent this from occurring.

I have the same issue, but the thing is, "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page" is OFF, and about:config shows that "accessibility.blockautorefresh" is false.
So everything should be OK, however I constantly get the "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?" message, and it's utterly annoying.
Any ideas? I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Firefox 6.01 pops up without being commanded (using Win7)

Firefox opens up, from minimized, without clicking on its icon. This happens when using other applications, and when computer is sleeping. This happens multiple times per day. Running Win 7, on a Dell Inspiron all-in-one with touch screen. As best as I can recall, this started when Firefox was updated to 6.01.

Itunes web page keeps popping up without being commanded.

I have a window 7 pc and just downloaded 10.5 ITunes. Now the itunes web page automatically pops up uncommanded. I close it and come back to my computer at a later time and the itunes page is back up again. I also use firefox.

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't work, there isn;t much anyone here can do for you. It may be a physical problem with your speakers.

I have a project which I am trying to make simple and would like your help.
I need to create a 'navigation system' which at the moment is a series of Flash .swf files uploaded to a Dreamweaver HTML page.
Now I need to get them working together like a 'tag' or a search system, but I don't want to get a server involved.
Is it possible to create something that operates like a website but without being linked to a server?

you can populate your data into an html table or xml syntax and then use srpy to create a search without the need for a database.

It's not a virus.
Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is redirecting your browser. Use Open DNS to avoid that. Open DNS adds security and anti phishing filters and it's free.
Open System Preferences / Preferences then select the Network tab. Click the Advanced tab then click the DNS tab.
Click +
Enter these numbers exactly as you see them here.

Then click OK.

Do you have Logitech Gaming Software installed? If so, uninstall it and see if it resolves the issue.

How do I allow pop ups in safari without being asked "block or allow" ?

I'm assuming that when I turned on the setting in Safari to allow pop-ups, I wouldn't have to tell the browser to allow or block every single pop up after that. Is there a combination of settings to make allow pop-ups without the additional "block or allow" message from popping up before the pop up window.
I used a 3rd party web application that has been coded for their drill-down messages to be displayed in another screen and I have no control over that.

Well, not that helpful unless you can determine if that window is coming from Safari or iOS or from whatever the other "3rd party web application" you were talking about.
If you don't want to play in that pool, then assume that iOS and/or Safari are working incorrectly. Your Users Guide has a whole chapter (at the end) devoted to what you do when things aren't going well, generally following the sequence of
Restart - red slider, then boot up again
Force Quit apps - either via Sleep/Wake followed by Home, or via Recents Tray
Reset - hold Home & Sleep/Wake to force reboot
Reset iPad Settings - Settings > General >Reset
Erase All Content - same as above
Restore iPad Software - iTunes or iOS 5 equivalent
You start at #1 and work your way through until the issue you're seeing goes away. If you get through all of the steps and it still doesn't work, you're pretty much out of gas and have to start talking to Apple.
So .. start at #1.

RemoteApp receives multiple KeyUp events without any keys being pressed

I have a very simple winforms app that I am using to try and track down what is happening with keyboard events when using RemoteApp.
Basically I have a form and a textbox that track the KeyDown, KeyPress and KeyUp events.
As soon as I start my app via RemoteApp I receive multiple KeyUp events without even pressing a key.
Does anyone know why RemoteApp would be sending these random KeyUp events.

Need help with Cluster of Buttons displaying a message to which button is being pressed.

Create a VI with a cluster of six buttons labeled Option1…Option6. When executing, the VI should wait for the user to press one of the buttons. When a button is pressed, use the Display Message To User Express VI to indicate which option was selected. Repeat this process until the user presses the Stop button. The parameters of the problem needs me to use a while loop, case structure, a shift register and search 1d array. I'm just having trouble setting up my case structures and how to get the search 1d array to work with the cluster to find which button was pressed. I've attached a picture of my VI and also a VI I made without the cluster that does what I want the Cluster VI to do which is to recognize the button being pressed and bring up a prompt.

Okay so i moved the cluster into the while loop and wired a boolean true constant to the element of the search 1d array and now I can at least get the prompt for button 1 to display, but when I press the other buttons which I have set up the same way as button 1 I get no prompts so how can I get it to recognize the other buttons. Am I implementing the shift register incorrectly?

PDF popup, in FireFox, without being prompted

Hello, I am using Windows XP Pro, SP3, fully patched and updated. My Adobe Reader is version 9.5.0. I am currently using FireFox 3.6.25, but this problem has been affecting my computer for the last year and a half, and happens with newer versions of FireFox, up to and including version 8. I downloaded a PDF file of an air compressor users manual and saved a copy to a folder on my desktop (where I store all of my PDF files).
Now, whenever my FireFox browser is up and running, this PDF file will pop up every three hours, or so. It will initially pop up about ten minutes after the browser is started, and then about three hours after I close the reader program. It, neither the file, nor Adobe Reader, asks for permission to run, the PDF file, just comes up fully formed and running in Reader.
I have search in my Reader preferences/options/setting and can’t find any setting, control, action, button or choice that allows me to stop this pop up behavior. I can move the file to another location on my “c” drive, move it to another hard drive altogether, or even rename it, all to no avail, the popup behavior remains.
Is this a Adobe “problem”, or setting, a FireFox problem (as it only happens when the FireFox browser is running), or something else I am not aware off? Thanks for any help, in advance!!

This behavior only happens with this one PDF, no others, and I have hundreds saved to the same folder.
Speak of the devil, as I was typing the first sentence of this email, it popped up. My FireFox browser is set to start when I boot my computer, and that happened about ten minutes ago.
I rarely use IE and never use any other browser. When I do use IE it is only for those websites that still don't function properly with FireFox, and I generally get there via a FireFox add-on that opens a version of IE within the FireFox browser. Also on rare occasions, I will open IE directly to view my daughters school grades, again because that website doesn't handle FireFox properly. In any case, whenever I use IE, I only keep that tab or browser running for a very short period of time, just long enough to capture my data needs, generally less than five minutes, then shut it down,........ But, I don't recall this PDF behavior ever happening with the IE usage.

If I understand your request, it means remotely accessing my computer's drives to observe the PDF's behavior, program settings and preferences, registery settings, etc. I am not comfortable doing that, as my computer has a large amount of proprietary business information and personal financial information. Any apps you have installed from the old AppleID will always be tied to that AppleID. You have no choice but to enter the password for the old AppleID if you want to update apps downloaded using that ID.
The only way to stop being asked for the password for the old AppleID is to remove all apps from the device that were downloaded using that old AppleID.
You'd then need to re-download (and re-purchase) any apps you want to keep using under the new AppleID.
Apps cannot be transferred between AppleIDs.
