Today I was searching the blog, because I will continue.
If you search the keywords "Cloud" and "Amazon" these blogs does not appear. But these Keywords are in the blog.
What is the problem?

Problems with Blog Comments after running Google Analytics Automator

I upgraded to IWeb 09 today and was hoping that there would be not too many compatibility issues. Well, here is one.
I noticed that the comment function on my blog page kept disappearing after I published the website to MobileMe. After some hours of trial and error I found out that the comment function is there right after publishing but disappears straight after running the Google Analytics Automator on the Idisk website folder.
I don't think I had this problem with IWeb 08 (I only used it briefly), so that might be a compatibility issue with IWeb 09.
Anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions?

this is a known problem since from iweb1, any time you post edit your pages (with google analytics automator or what not) you potentially cripple MMe server side functions.

Finder Search problems with contractions

The finder search seems to have issues with contractions.
If I search for the song title "I Don't Want To Lose You", I get nothing. If I search for "want to lose you" then it works. VERY frustrating to have to alter search especially when I have thousands of songs to search through.
Anyone else?

Problems with blog template

I'm having two problems with the blog template. First, I wanted to add some images to a blog entry in addition to the main photo at the top of the page. I had wanted these to appear below the main text box. So I selected several pictures in iPhoto and dragged them over to the current blog entry. What I got was a new photo page being created and a small image placed on my blog page that was a link to the newly created photo page that contains a thumbnail image of one of the photos on the photo page. Is there no way to simply insert additional images into a blog page? Even if I can't insert the images into my page, there is a problem with the location of that thumbnail image. It somehow got located near the bottom of the page in between the "made on a Mac" logo and the Next link. I can't seem to select it to move it to a different location. I tried right-clicking, option-clicking and clicking with every other modifier key, as well as ordinary clicking, but either nothing happens or iWeb takes me to the new photo page. How can I manipulate this thumbnail object? Finally, out of frustration about being unable to manipulate the thumbnail away from the Next/Previous links, I decided to try to move them. I started with the "Made on a Mac" logo, selected it and then pressed the down arrow. What I had expected was that my page size would increase as I moved the logo down the page. Instead, I seem to have moved the logo down so far that it has disapeared. How do I get it back? What am I doing wrong here?

I have been corresponding with the company in Lithuania for a few days and we have tried everything we could think of to solve the glitch. I am very much aware of the fact that it is a custom theme, in fact I have further customised it.
The website in question is a private one. In my home country, we are legally required to post our address on the page. I would not want to braodcast that across the Apple community, if I can help it, so that is not an option. Sorry.
I would really appreciate if someone who uses GraphicNodes templates could help me out. Thank you

Location search problem with iPhone map

I am posting this to see if anybody else have the same problem, and hopeful a solution as well.
The problem is that iPhone map started from a 3ird party software does not use my current location by default. For example, I did a search for pizza in google search. The google app will give me a list of local pizza places in their page. But if I click on show all results, it brings up the map app and displays a few pizza places around the world. But shouldn't it give me results in my local area instead? At first, I thought this is a google problem. But I see the same problem later with another voice search app. Have anyone experience this with their iPhone?

Soptlight search problem with Mail

Remember about deleted text message that appear on spotlight search on iOS 6.1.3 but that not matter anymore cause it been fix on iOS 7. Unfortunately new problem has just been discover whether it just on my iPhone or everyone have it. Thing goes like this... I like reply my friend facebook comment using email. So when I reply that comment it consider it as (sent) email. I delete that sent email and it just appear in spotlight search. I try to open it(from spotlight search), yes it still can be open in Email but cannot delete it, cause it been deleted before. So any idea about this problem or solution? #TakeNote My friend with iOS 6.1.3 also have the same problem.

I had the same problem - it just started a few days ago. Resetting PRAM (by restarting with command-option-P-R held down) solved the problem.

Boolean Search problem with the "&" character

I need to perform a Boolean search and include names such as "John Wiley & Sons", "R & D", for example, that have the "&" character in it. The problem is that Acrobat considers the character "&" as an "AND". I have tried to use "\&" but it didn't work. Does someone know if it is possible to consider "&" as a character, instead of a logical operator, in a Boolean search, and if yes, how?

Search problem with iDS5.1sp1

Let's say I have an entry uid=anne.clark. With the version 4.16, I had no result returned when I was searching with the filter '(uid=anne.clark\0a)'. Now, with the latest version, the server is returning the anne.clark entry. Is that a bug or there is a configuration I can set to avoid this?

After making sure that all services are up and running, I had to deactive and activate the "SharePoint Server Site Search" web site collection feature. Then the search started working for the time being.
However, it throws the error again after 8 to 9 hours. This has been happening for last couple of weeks. I also came to know from my windows server team that they moved the AD from one place to another. Since then I am having this issue.
The log file has the following error:

Problem with Blog comments

Hi @ll,
I have the following problem: I set up my iWeb page (materials for a lecture) including a feedback forum page for the students. The forum worked well until the "update" to MobileMe started. Since then it is not possible for the students to send any comments to the forum.
Does anyone know if this problem is related to the chance of .MAC to ME.com and if it will be solved soon? Is apple aware of such a problem?

I've been a Mac proponent for two years now, though recent problems are causing me to re-evaluate. Aside from this snafu, the most recent Quicktime update neutered all sound on my .avi files as well. When can we expect updates/solutions to these problems?

Is the iweb problem with blogs

I have been ripping my hair out ever since installing iweb 08 an i have discovered a common thread, I can change anything on my site and save and publish it. It works fine.
The exception to this is Blogs, as soon as I add, edit or change a blog entry it destroys have the images on my site and I have to go back to the previous saved versions....
One of the main reasons I use .mac is because it used to offer stable blogging.
Anyone got any ideas?

There should be a simpler way to do this, but this appears to work in .mac and doesn't require hacking your html every time you refresh your site:
1. Download this file: http://web.mac.com/jkevinwolfe/skype.html
2. From the menu choose File/Save as/Page Source and save it to your desktop.
2. Drag it to TextEdit to open it.
3. Change “username” to your skype username.
4. Save it.
5. Drag it to: iDisk/Web/Sites
6. Create a link in your iWeb page for: http://web.mac.com/username/skype.html
7. Replace “username” with your .mac username.
When the user clicks your button or link, they get an short page where they can click on a link to skype you or download skype if they don't have it. This should work if you have your site somewhere other than .mac. The link address should be modified accordingly in iWeb.

File Share Search problem with Compress file

I have a content source in SharePoint 2013 search which crawl files from a file share. Some of the files have "Compress contents to save disk" attribute set to true.
These files are being crawled as I can see them in Crawl logs. But when I search for these documents in search center, it only return the documents which don't have compression attribute set. I have even tried searching document title. Any idea?

What keyword did you use for searching the compressed file?
As your description, I set a file as the below:
Then I created a File Share content source pointed to the folder which contains the file, then start a full crawl.
After crawling, I went to my search center, and searched, the result was:
When you search the compressed file, check whether the item title returns a part of the content of the document.

IWeb: problem with comments

On my iWeb page I have comments allowed on my blog. Yet no one can post comments. If I publish a new article with the comments allowed, iWeb comes back with an error server message.

I'm having the same problem with blog Comments (iWeb 2.0.4). Clicking on "Add a Comment" gets this message; "We're sorry. We are having a problem processing your request." I get the same message in my business site photo gallery where you can leave a comment about a photo.

Problem with iWeb SEO breaking iWeb blogs (Blog Summary Widget error).

As as happened to many others, my blog was broken. The only thing that showed up when publishing was "Blog Summary Widget", no actual blog.
I came on here and searched, uninstalled with apzapper, deleted preferences before that, tried everything.
Still the problem.
Then I notice my blog works. I'm excited. I move on in my post iweb part of the process (iWeb SEO and dreamweaver edits) to then see it's broken again.
After some testing (changing 1 file at a time, one step at a time) I found that when iWeb SEO touched the home.html (where my blog is) it broke it.
This is a new phenomenon as I was doing this all the time before with no problem.
I even tried updating to the latest version of iWeb SEO and the same problem.
So if you're having this problem, and are using iWeb SEO, try it without and see if you still have the same problem.

I'm getting the same problem too. I've just updated my iWeb from 1 to 2. I've had to more or less re-create my Blog from scratch as the upgrade wrecked the summary and recent items pages (probably because I'd use jTemplate).
So I created a new Site, dragged the old blog over to it and created a brand new one in my proper site. I then copied all my formatting over AND all the entries. All looks fine in iWeb, but I see the same error messages as described here. Take a look here : http://www.andrewmay.biz/test/
Obviously I've moved a lot of stuff around from the normal White template, and deleted a few things too, but I would have hoped that iWeb wouldn't let me trash things that then broke it.
