Search results in iCal give wrong dates
Hi there,
I have a very odd problem with iCal: whenever I search my calendearr all the results have a date in January 2007. When I click one of the results, it does go back to the right date in the calendar. The problem reoccurs when I use TimeLog 4: all the appointments from iCal show up in Timelog , but are given some date in january 2007. Because of this, Timelog is absolutely useless. I tried exporting and importing all my calendars in iCal but to no avail. Anybody here with the same problem? Anybody here with a solution?

I'm receiving this error in custom search results page in our SharePoint 2013 Enterprise farm:
Sorry, something went wrong.
Display Error: The display template had an error. You can correct it by fixing the template or by changing the display template used in either the Web Part properties or Result Types.
'console' is undefined (CoreRender: ~ sitecollection/_catalogs/masterpage/Display Templates/Search/Item_mycustom_Site.js
I believe a similar error was resolved by March 2013 CU but our farm us running Aug 2013 CU. I have also tried adding domain to trusted zone in IE but still the same error.
I do not get this error in Google Chrome or in IE 10 or above. Not sure if it is an issue with my display template because error disappears when upgrading IE to 10 or 11.
Update: In IE 8 I can see search results with no error if the developer toolbar (F12) is enabled!

Did you try these steps
Open up the SharePoint 2013 Management Shell as Administrator
and run the following command: Enable-SPFeature SearchWebParts -url http://<central admin
url>
Use a browser on a different machine, or add you SharePoint
site(s) to the ‘Trusted Sites’ in IE.
Activate the feature : “My
Site Host“. This is a hidden feature scoped at the Site Collection level. The feature ID is 49571CD1-B6A1-43a3-BF75-955ACC79C8D8.
The feature folder under SharePointRoot is MySiteHost.

since last night's time change, iCal has displayed the wrong date. in the dock it shows yesterday's date (nov. 3rd) until i open iCal when it switches to today (nov 4th) until I close it again and it goes back to yesterday.
I have found iCal has displayed the wrong date in the dock a number of times since installing Leopard. It was doing so again now (yesterday's date) until I quit and reloaded it.
I'm not sure what triggers the behaviour but it tends to reflect the day I opened iCal. -
Search Results Query Text - Get all data, Exclude all list data except one
Hi Experts,
I have a situation wherein in the global search of our internal site, we have to display all results & restrict any list item except one list. Earlier we had restricted /Lists/ & People to be displayed in the results.
But in the new search results I have to display results from only one list along with other results (documents, sites, pages etc).

You should have success using the following:

Two things from your original query were excluding list items from your results, your exclusion of file
DispForm.aspx and path Lists. By using "OR" in the above query, we're creating an exception to also allow items under
Lists/ArticleContent to be included in the results. -
I have encountered a curious problem: my iCal (OSX 10.8.4) shows all the correct dates on my screen, but when I print the month of October/2013, the printout goes like this: ... / Friday Oct. 18th / Saturday Oct. 19th / Sunday Oct. 19th (!!!). Then, the following monday, which should be the 21st, is printed as if it were the 20th... After that, all dates until the end of October are wrong by one day. The funny thing is, when I print the month of November, it's OK!...
So, careful out there, this may turn up somewhere else as well.
This is clearly some kind of silly bug in iCal's printout module, somebody at Apple should look into it before they get somebody into trouble...

Also, make sure that the Time Zone and Daylights Savings settings are correct in your phone. If not this will cause time shifts in events. -
Clicking an search result in iCal does not open this item
I am running Version 5.0.2 (1571) of iCal. When I use the search function and try to click on a returned item to open it what gets opened is whatever is selected in the Reminders. Is this a known bug? Is there a solution? Please let me know. Thanks.

TRUNC function gives wrong date
I am using the code
SELECT TRUNC(SYSDATE-v_days,'DAY') INTO :P33_FROM_DATE FROM DUAL;
where v_days is a multiple of 7 (this is used to move around weeks), this should give back the start day of the week (if done today it would give 14th), however for some reason in APEX if gives the sundays date. In SQL Dev it works fine and is reporting the Mondays date. The inconsistencies are strange, this is the only process on the page, any ideas whats causing it?

"The starting day of the week used by the format models DAY, DY, and D is specified implicitly by the initialization parameter NLS_TERRITORY."

Activity Management - search result - RED Icon for Due date
Hello all,
In CRM 7.0, when we create certain activities, and set the due date to be somewhere in the future, the ICON (Round circle) is always showing RED colour even though the due date is not reached.
Any ideas how this can be controlled? Is there a customizing setting available, or does this have to be controlled via code?

Im having an issue where I create a transaction and set a due date to the future the due date icon diaplays the grey diamond.
Only happens in DEV, PRD is okay.
Reason we looking into it is because we want to do some new dev that might take this issue to PRD.

Database not returning search results
I am a complete newbie to mySQL and php, but I have managed to create a database in Dreamweaver. It seems (using 'seems' broadly) I have done everything correctly, following step-by-step instruction from the Dreamweaver help website. But when I load everything to my server and search, the table comes up with no results in it. I had put two entries into my database on phpMyAdmin; the search shows up fine when I test the recordset in Dreamweaver, but when it's online and I search, it's just a blank table on the results page.
I have exhausted search terms on the web trying to figure this out. I thought maybe something was wrong with the connections folder, but it is located where it says it is. Maybe someone here can help. Pasting the code below:

It doesn't answer my question but it still helps me determine your level of knowledge.
For your search results page code the php is processing data that's sent via URL parameter. That's what the snippet you provided is saying:

$colname_Recordset1 = $_GET['form1'];
That says that if a URL parameter for form1 is set then set the value of the parameter to the variable for processing in your query. That's why I asked where your search form code is. You explained your search from briefly, but didn't provide a code. For search page you need a form to send the URL parameter 'form1' to the search results page. Use something like this on search page for your form:

<input type="submit" value="Search">
The action of the form should point to your search results page to process the data into a query and display the results. GET method of a form will send the "name" data of each form element as a URL parameter. So if you searched for entered text on your search form then when you click submit the URL will look like: www.your-domain.com/result_page.php?form1=entered%20text
Your script will take data form URL parameter and process the data in your query. That should get you going in the right direction. -

in oracle backend ( LOV ) user is selecting 'long text' instead of 'short text' and as a result user is getting wrong data Ship_To_Adress ( column ). here what i need is :

Search parameters are getting cleared after search result

We have created z component with search and search result view based on only value nodes.
we are able to get search result with the give search criteria. After getting result search parameters are getting refreshed.
how to keep those values in search parameters. which method i need to redefine..... what will be the part of code.

You have to set the search field values after the result obtained. I believe you can find this in any of the standard advanced search components - BT111S_OPPT etc. for reference.

I am going to the navigation MSS->Team->EmpInfo->General Info->Employee Search [Under Employee Selection Dropdown i am selecting Employee Serach Option], here i am getting the view with lastname, fistname, Personal No:, Even i am using any of the Search Critiria like Serach With LName,FName And PerNo:, No Employee Search result is Displaying Simply No Data Found Message is coming.
To active this EMp search in MSS do i need configure any steps from SPRO. Any Steps from Portal Front.
To display Team Calender , i configured IGS, what else i need to do to get Team Calender iview in Team Under MSS.
Please list out the steps and provide some help to fix the issue.

Thanks for ur response, Debug in the Sense we need to Maintain any parameters in the Employee Search Parameters w.r.t MSS in the Particular Method or What?
I checked in the SPRO--> Integration with other mySAP Components -->Business Packages > Manager self Services (mySAPERP)>Object and Data Provider--> Define Object Selection / Group Parameters for OBJ Search / Define Rules for Object Selection..
Here we need to create any rule and pass those Group Parameters into that???
I told my ABAPers to debug those two methods, apart from that any HR side SPRO Configuration pending?
Please reply me and list out the Steps, Where and What exact config need to do from SPRO apart from that Debugging????

iCal shows wrong date in the sidebar. The right date appears when I open the application. It used to be there all the time even when the application was closed.
Does your stored procedure for the report use the raw datetime parameters or do you cast them inside the procedure?

Wrong Search result for Employee Resp.lD when searching Sales Order
Hi All,
Happy new year first of all,
I encounter a problem when using search sales order in WebUI. I am using SAP CRM 2007 SP4.
I notice that the search result by using Employee Responsible ID as criteria, is returning Person Responsible
instead !
I entered both partner function in sales order document (Employee Responsible => BP 1234 and
Person Responsible => BP 4567).
Although in Search criteria selection I choose Employee Responsible ID, but when I put
the BP 1234, the search result is blank. And when I change the value to BP 4567, I can see the result
shows that document. But BP 4567 is Person Responsible, how come it gives the result for Employee
Responsible??
This is totally wrong! I couldn't find SAP NOTE or same issue mentioned here in SDN.
Did I miss it? Please kindly share your find out if you have same case or solution for this.

By attention to the Relat. Category change, we can not simply change it (although it can fix this
problem). I read the field info :
In many cases this is predefined in the system, based on the partner function category chosen. You can assign the corresponding relationship type freely if:
- you select the partner function category undefined partneror
- you have yourself defined the relationship category to
