i am searching fo a FM which tells me if a job is already scheduled or is running.
Does anybody know?

i just checked the table REPOSRC for a program which was not activated, i got two entries for the program one as active and one as inactive ,as soon as i activated the program there was a single entry.
so is it that we should check if we have any inactive entry in the table for the program?.

Error trying to check whether the job will be importing
Hi,
I am getting the below message error when I try to upload the data through webADI,is there any limit for loading the records that we can upload using web ADI? we tried to load near to 10,000 records and it's giving me an error on window and gets stuck without actually displaying the error message, when I check the Bne log I see the below message.
BneAsyncUploadPage.renderPage Error trying to check whether the job will be importing.
BneAsyncUploadPage.renderPage Parameter value is not a Boolean.
Note: When I tried to upload 1000 records , it's working good.

EBS search string for check number

My client is using MT940 FORMAT for EBS,requirement is in a bank statement we are having 10 transactions which are having the same amount for ex:rs.1000 for ten payment transactions. now system is not able to post the document when we import the bank statement.
I wanted to use search string for check number, note to payee in bank statement is check number.Please find the below refference

When i do the simulation it shows the Number and the hits and mapping.
In the Seach String use i have following settings:
CC 1000
Interpretation : ALL Interpretation
Search String : TEST1 ( this is the name that i gave to above search string)
Target : Posting RUle
Active checked.
But still when i upload the bank statement it is posting to Rule AB03 and not AB01
Also when i try FEBSTS it says no document hits ???

Checking whether a URL is active in 4.6C
Here's a different question for you.
I've been asked to check whether a URL is active. Basically they want to check whether the webpage is still viewable and if it isn't, then send an e-mail. This will be a background job.
Because 4.6C does not have ICM [Internet Communication Manager] this doesn't seem to be an easy process.
The most I seem to be able to do is use CL_GUI_HTML_VIEWER to show the URL. But that only happens when run online and not in background. And no exceptions are raised if a 404 page cannot be displayed happens.
Being the constriction of 4.6C anyone have any ideas?
If you could show me how to PING from ABAP or know whether a website is active <REMOVED BY MODERATOR>

Go to tcode DC30 and there check for the 'Define workstation apllication in network'.
If there is no entry for URL, create an entry as below :
Appl = URL
Description = Textdateien
Suffix = URL
ArchID = *
StartAuth = flag checked
I think this setting should make the system to access the URL's.

When i came home i called apple to check whether my phone is locked or not and they said that its locked to US Verizon even though when i checked on iphoneimei it said sim status unknown. I put my 2degrees (NZ carrier) in today and it worked fine. I got into the settings and turned off the automatically part of carrier and there were 3 options for me to choose 2degrees vodafone and telecom. Because of that, im quite confused abt whether my phone is locked or not since im from vietnam so i want to know if i can use vietnamese sim card when i go home. Thanks for your help@verizon
Hi tranvietanh - I appreciate you contacting us all the way from New Zealand! I can confirm that the iPhone 5s and all of our other 4G LTE device are not SIM locked. As the carrier in New Zealand may not support the exact same frequencies and cellular bands that we use on our network, we are unable to support the device if using a 3rd party SIM.

How can we check whether a ResultSet is EMPTY or NOT ?
i'm getting some data inside ResulSet (using JDBC inside Servlet).
now i want to redirect response according to ResultSet...., if ResultSet is EMPTY then on diff page, else on different page...
how can i check whether a ResultSet is empty or not...
i've used next() , wasNull() methods ,,, but not solving the purpose...

How?????You just do an SQL statement but instead of the list of fields after SELECT you put
SELECT count(*) FROM ...... WHERE .....
That returns a single integer value into the resultset giving the number of matching records currently in the database.
The trouble is you can't be certain that when you subsequently access the records the number won't have changed, because databases are generally accessible to more than one process at a time and some other process might add or delete a record between counting and retrieving or, for that matter, during the process of retrieval.
Also the count is likely to take more time than just doing rs.next() and seeing if you get a record.
Since you seem to be in a servlet environment you should consider doing the database query and the first rs.next() at the top of the servlet/JSP that presents the results and, if there are no records, using getServletContext.getRequestDispatcher(...).forward(request, response) to swich to your error page if it returns false.
So the stucture looks like:

I am using proc_listpidspath() to check whether a file is open or not by some application.
It works in Leopard but not in Tiger.
Can anyone suggest some function or solution so that i can check whether a file is open or not in Tiger.

I need to check whether the order is locked or not?
I tried to use this RFC KAUF_ORDER_READ and passed Order no.
I manually locked the order( using Tcode -IW32) but still Function module is not returning 'X' in FIELDS flg_locked and FLG_ENQUE of the structure E_KAUF.
the FM should return 'X' in these fields.
Please help.

I use the google search bar for everything and since downloading FF4 i can not select any of the suggestions in the google drop down menu.
I have tried to select one of the suggestions that google give me for my search but FF it wont let me. I have type everything out in full. I hate FF4 it is rubbish. I loved firefox before this one came out but now I am seriously thinking of going over to google chrome.Many thanks for the prompt reply, ideato.
One of the reasons I abandoned Chrome in favour of Firefox was due to the "black band of doom" that appears on the top of the Google page - so setting up my homepage to google.co.uk just puts that back in the ugly spotlight.
I was, though, pleasantly surprised to see a Google search bar on the Mozilla Firefox Start Page (without the black band and Google options that I am just not interested in) but bitterly disappointed that it is Google.fr (due to my ISP being French).
I shall learn to live with Yahoo (or worse case scenario, Bing!)

The easiest way, I guess, is by going to transaction SMOD, sticking in your enhancement name and pressing the test button.
When placing breakpoints, don't use <b>Breakpoints > Breakpoint at > Statement...</b> and enter
PERFORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
because you won't get any hits since the function module names are stored dynamically.
Rather use <b>Breakpoints > Breakpoint at > Function Module...</b> and enter
USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
for a better chance of hitting the breakpoint.

You can get the PO total value change form the PO business Object BUS2201 attribute POTotalValueIncreased .
Below code sample decribes how to get the BO attribute values
1. INCLUDE <swfcntn01>.
2. Create an instance of the BO by calling the macro and passing the three parameter.
swf_create_object <po bor object> <BUS2201> <po_guid>
3. Get the PO attribute by calling macro
swf_get_property <po BOR object> < 'POTotalValueIncreased' > < lv_pototalvalueincreased>
OR
You can query the table BBP_PDHGP and get the original Value of the PO and call the FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL to get the new Value of the PO. Check the difference and if there is any difference then the PO value is changed.

I need to create change a return order (VA02 Transaction ) & then need to create a delivery (VL01N Transaction) for this
