Searching for and deleting songs with explicit lyrics

Hello. Over the years my song library has grown a bunch, but my music preferences have changed. I no longer wish to suddenly hear a song throwing the F-bomb around. Since I listen on my iPhone and cannot delete the song immediately, I need to know if there is a way to search for songs in iTunes for explicit lyrics so that I can delete them from my library. Is there a way?

Thre is not a way to do it directly that I am aware of but you can go down your song list and just look for the red explicit label and delete it that way.

Search for shared library is impossible, as far as I know. Searches supported - are local and internet.

It's difficult to compare these apps. They have differences in capability - some are driven off templates. some aren't. Some have a wider variety of transitions. Others will have excellent audio controls. It's worth checking them out to see what meets your needs. However, there is no doubt that Final Cut Pro X is the most capable app of them all. The apple algorithm for detecting duplicates is not great. I did this yesterday on a library which had got bloated by various itunes 'organisations' and had 15000 songs in it and downloaded idupe. It seemed to work very well and got me down to 10,000 songs. 8USD shareware.

How did you move the music to the external drive? What exactly is on the drive? The entire iTunes folder or only music? If it is the entire iTunes folder you can do the option+start suggestion earlier. I have the latest version of iTunes. Today I did a search for a particular song. In the past, I used to get a list of the song and the various artists who recorded it, and I could click the little arrow and play a preview of that song before I decided to buy it. Today the results didn't display that way - instead, I got a page with probably 50 or 100 songs all spread out across the page, and the "writing" was all overlayed so you couldn't quite tell what you're supposed to see! I want to go back to the "list" view but couldn't find anywhere to change the view preference. Any idea how?

How to use karaoke songs with show lyrics

i am trying to record on garage band, it is pretty easy to bring in reg songs and do a vocal over on it butt my problem is that i want to use karaoke songs with the lyrics on the screen and record different layers one for instrumentals and one for vocals is this possible or is there anther way to do this ?

Unfortunately, Lr can only use a single song. The usual workaround when a longer piece of music comprising multiple songs is required is to join the songs into one. However, this must be done outside of Lr.

Purchased song with explicit content while thought it was a clean version

My son purchased several songs last night and is aware that he cannot purchase songs with explicit language ..... he purchased a song that did not have an "Explicit" tag on it but does contain the "F" word which he does not want to hear or do we want to have in his music collection.
Is there a way to "delete"/refund or such this type of sale from the ITune store? How can you be sure that language such as the "F" word and others don't get into the songs that are listed if they are not flagged as containing such words?

I see. To get a better idea of what is being stored where please download and run the script iTunesInfo which should output something like this:
I'm interested in the block of 4 results starting ITL location. If your profile name shows up somewhere replace it with <Name>. It is also worth checking under Edit > Preferences > Advanced to see where iTunes thinks your media is supposed to go. My script estimates the setting based on the location of the first media file it can actually find.

Now have a look at the the organizer display layout. Just over the main display panel where thumbnails are shown, there is a drop-down menu to choose the sort order. I assume you are on a recent version of Elements? If you are on PSE12 or 13 you can choose the chronological order (ascending or descending), the filename order, or the import batch. Additionally, if you are viewing an album you can have a manual custom sort.
My other advice is that before you use the organizer, you take the time to read this help file carefully:

Is there a way to search for and install all uninstalled fonts? I'm getting bored of opening all the files up.

I've got a file of about 100 typefaces, which is 1000s of fonts. I want to install them all but I dont want to have to open each file and install them all individually (or in small groups).
So is there a way to search for and install ALL uninstalled fonts in one hit?

The best solution I've come across so far is to dump all movies into a shareware app called iVI. It'll show whether each movie has subtitles or not.
