Searching for PowerPC apps

Before I decide when/whether I will upgrade to Lion, I need to see what apps I'm going to lose access to because of the loss of Rosetta (I know I've got to do something about Quicken 2007). Other than doing a Get Info on every one of my apps, is there a way, perhaps through a terminal command, that I could search all of my apps for those that are PowerPC apps? It also seems that I had a Safari plug-in for which I had set Safari to start up with Rosetta. I'll have to look through those, although I'm not sure how to identify them.

I open app store on iPad.
Search for an app by name.
Results show up.
I want to click the app like in iTunes to read the info about it, but the only option is to buy and install it.
Shouldn't there be an option to view the info first?

Tap tapping "Developer Web Site" or "Develoepr Page, or "App Support" or "More".
Example. Open the App Store
In the search field top right corner of the window type in: Creative Postcard HD
You should see "More" on the right with a down facing arrow. That should "expand" the window providing more information.

Have you tried a reset (different from just restarting)
Hold down on both the Home button AND the Sleep/Wake button for about 10 seconds until you get to the black screen and see the Apple logo. Then let go of both buttons. This "reset" fixes a lot of weird iPad issues and might fix yours.

Writepad only works within the app itself - it does not allow you to write in another program. While it does allow you to save a document as a text or pdf file, it won't (I believe) let you open a file created outside of Writepad and work on it (except maybe text files - would have to investigate and see).

I've recently change my Apple ID email so I've recently went to the App Store to download some apps that I've bought a while ago and none of them are showing. I've also searched for the app and wants me to buy it again.

happy 9/19/2012 my ipod touch freshly updated to ios 6.
issue is everytime I search for an app it crashes.
and the rare time it does not crash it will crash while i'm scrolling threw the apps.
not to mention its super laggy even on my comcast wifi. so its not my internet.
and no flyover support for ipod touch 4th gen??
p.s. itunes store laggy and glitchy but works.

Why does the App Store on my iPod kick me out when I try to search for an app?

The App Store on my iPod touch keeps kicking me out when I try to search for an app or when I go to genius. I updated to ios6 today and this hasn't happened before. What can I do?

I have the same problem on my iPod Touch 4 (IOS6). My iPhone 4S (IOS6) works fine. But the App Store crashes when I hit the Genius bar in App Store. Apparently other folks are having this same problem. I've rebooted, but that doesn't help.

Is this on a computer's iTunes or an iOS device ? On a computer's iTunes when viewing the store the search box at the top right of iTunes should search the store :
The on the results screen select Apps.
On an iOS device you should have a search tab at the bottom of the App Store app.

Help!! I recently erased my settings and after backing up via iCloud, I cannot open some apps. They look as if they are updating, but I cannot delete them. I can open them if I go through the app store and search for the app and click "open." what do I do

I can't seem to figure out why I can't delete and redownload my apps. I'm very confused. I've tried turning my phone on and off, and doing a soft reset.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!
