  • Searching iCal for past events

    I am trying to search iCal for a past event. The search window only is giving me events in the current month or in the future. I am on an iMac running 10.8.5. If i manually go back a month I can see an instance of this event that is not showing up in the search results. If I try Spotlight I get the same results. I feel like this is something simple that I am missign but I just can't figure it out!

    I suppose this should be Searching Calendar ver. 6.0 not iCal--sorry!

  • Need some help in creating Search Help for standard screen/field

    I need some help in adding a search-help to a standard screen-field.
    Transaction Code - PP01,
    Plan Version - Current Plan (PLVAR = '01'),
    Object Type - Position ( OTYPE = 'S'),
    Click on Infotype Name - Object ( Infotype 1000) and Create.
    I need to add search help to fields Object Abbr (P1000-SHORT) / Object Name (P1000-STEXT).
    I want to create one custom table with fields, Position Abb, Position Name, Job. Position Abb should be Primary Key. And when object type is Position (S), I should be able to press F4 for Object Abb/Object Name fields and should return Position Abbr and Position Name.
    I specify again, I have to add a new search help to standard screen/field and not to enhance it.
    This is HR specific transaction. If someone has done similar thing with some other transation, please let me know.
    There is no existing search help for these fields. If sm1 ever tried or has an idea how to add new search help to a standard screen/field.
    It's urgent.
    Thanks in advace. Suitable answers will be rewarded

    Hi Pradeep,
    Please have a look into the below site which might be useful

    A search help exit is a function module for making the input help process described by the search help more flexible than possible with the standard version.
    This function module must have the same interface as function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE. The search help exit may also have further optional parameters (in particular any EXPORTING parameters).
    A search help exit is called at certain timepoints in the input help process.
    Note: The source text and long documentation of the above-specified function module (including the long documentation about the parameters) contain information about using search help exits.
    Function modules are provided in the function library for operations that are frequently executed in search help exits. The names of these function modules begin with the prefix F4UT_. These function modules can either be used directly as search help exits or used within other search help exits. You can find precise instructions for use in the long documentation for the corresponding function module.
    During the input help process, a number of timepoints are defined that each define the beginning of an important operation of the input help process.
    If the input help process is defined with a search help having a search help exit, this search help exit is called at each of these timepoints. If required, the search help exit can also influence the process and even determine that the process should be continued at a different timepoint.
    timepoints
    The following timepoints are defined:
    1. SELONE
    Call before selecting an elementary search help. The possible elementary search helps are already in SHLP_TAB. This timepoint can be used in a search help exit of a collective search help to restrict the selection possibilities for the elementary search helps.
    Entries that are deleted from SHLP_TAB in this step are not offered in the elementary search help selection. If there is only one entry remaining in SHLP_TAB, the dialog box for selecting elementary search helps is skipped. You may not change the next timepoint.
    The timepoint is not accessed again if another elementary search help is to be selected during the dialog.
    2. PRESEL1
    After selecting an elementary search help. Table INTERFACE has not yet been copied to table SELOPT at this timepoint in the definition of the search help (type SHLP_DESCR_T). This means that you can still influence the attachment of the search help to the screen here. (Table INTERFACE contains the information about how the search help parameters are related to the screen fields).
    3. PRESEL
    Before sending the dialog box for restricting values. This timepoint is suitable for predefining the value restriction or for completely suppressing or copying the dialog.
    4. SELECT
    Before selecting the values. If you do not want the default selection, you should copy this timepoint with a search help exit. DISP should be set as the next timepoint.
    5. DISP
    Before displaying the hit list. This timepoint is suitable for restricting the values to be displayed, e.g. depending on authorizations.
    6. RETURN (usually as return value for the next timepoint)
    The RETURN timepoint should be returned as the next step if a single hit was selected in a search help exit.
    It can make sense to change the F4 flow at this timepoint if control of the process sequence of the Transaction should depend on the selected value (typical example: setting SET/GET parameters). However, you should note that the process will then depend on whether a value was entered manually or with an input help.
    7. RETTOP
    You only go to this timepoint if the input help is controlled by a collective search help. It directly follows the timepoint RETURN. The search help exit of the collective search help, however, is called at timepoint RETTOP.
    8. EXIT (only for return as next timepoint)
    The EXIT timepoint should be returned as the next step if the user had the opportunity to terminate the dialog within the search help exit.
    9. CREATE
    The CREATE timepoint is only accessed if the user selects the function "Create new values". This function is only available if field CUSTTAB of the control string CALLCONTROL was given a value not equal to SPACE earlier on.
    The name of the (customizing) table to be maintained is normally entered there. The next step returned after CREATE should be SELECT so that the newly entered value can be selected and then displayed.
    10. APP1, APP2, APP3
    If further pushbuttons are introduced in the hit list with function module F4UT_LIST_EXIT, these timepoints are introduced. They are accessed when the user presses the corresponding pushbutton.
    Note: If the F4 help is controlled by a collective search help, the search help exit of the collective search help is called at timepoints SELONE and RETTOP. (RETTOP only if the user selects a value.) At all other timepoints the search help exit of the selected elementary search help is called.
    If the F4 help is controlled by an elementary search help, timepoint RETTOP is not executed. The search help exit of the elementary search help is called at timepoint SELONE (at the
    F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE
    This module has been created as an example for the interface and design of Search help exits in Search help.
    All the interface parameters defined here are mandatory for a function module to be used as a search help exit, because the calling program does not know which parameters are actually used internally.
    A search help exit is called repeatedly in connection with several
    events during the F4 process. The relevant step of the process is passed on in the CALLCONTROL step. If the module is intended to perform only a few modifications before the step, CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.
    However, if the step is performed completely by the module, the following step must be returned in CALLCONTROL-STEP.
    The module must react with an immediate EXIT to all steps that it does not know or does not want to handle.
    Hope this info will help you.

  • Custom search help for a custom field in SRM 7

    EDIT: I'm gonna clarify on this thread since my first post wasn't explicative enough... thanks for the patience
    Hi all gurus,
    the question is about a search help in SRM7 but since the task is about abap development, I guess this is the right section to ask for.
    Shortly; every purchase doc in our SRM7 has a custom header table which contains data which are retrieved from the connected backends. In this custom table, the user has the opportunity to add manually a line, and for a specific input field in table, we have to define a search help which should retrieve the appropriate possible values w.r.t. the "target" backend for the document.
    A bit of technical data: say the field is called ZZ_R3_ROLE; it's included in a custom structure ZR7_HEADER_CST_GEN which is itself an append for BBP_PDHCF.
    I defined a Search Help for that field and the corresponding exit FM to manage our task.
    Unfortunately, to retrieve the possible values for the specific backend I need some informations like:
    - the backend on which the document will be distributed;
    - the process type of the document.
    This means that my search help should take into account additional informations that comes from the document I'm processing; I don't know what's the "clean" solution to do this.
    I've seen on an old system (a SAP SRM 3.0) a workaround based on IMPORT/EXPORT ... TO MEMORY ID has been used. Actually, I'd like to find a more elegant solution, if any.
    So... as you can see, I'm absolutely a newbie on the argument, but since I can trigger the search help only from a purchase document (PO, contract) process, I should need at least the GUID of the document to retrieve, for example, what's the target backend for that document in order to provide proper values.
    Any hint/suggestion and in particular, a sketch of code as example is welcome.

    Hi,
    into your modify view,
    extract data you need in your search help in an itab (do it into a class do not perform select directly into modify view) and then bind it as value help to your WD element.

  • Where can I download a user manual for Advanced Port Replicator III plus

    Where can I download a user manual for this?
    I have searched the download manuals section but cannot find a reference to this.

    Seems this manual is not available in the Toshiba user manual page.
    But usually you should receive a user manual together with the Advanced Port Replicator III plus.

  • Missing User Manual for Acrobat 9.0

    Along with my recent Design Premium upgrade, I ordered the Adobe CS4 Design Premium User Guide.  And much to my surprise, it's complete documentation in separate books! Great!! I didn't know anyone still knew how to do that. So I get a pile of books about six inches high - and there's no manual for Acrobat. Completely missing from the CS4 group.  What gives?
    Logged a customer service query, after a couple of conversations with some CSRs, found out that Adobe doesn't supply a printed user manual along with all the other applications.  Here's the excuse I was given: "The decision was made to not print the manual because we wanted to conserve on paper.  Adobe is trying to encourage a paperless world, and our Acrobat product is an important part of that task.  So we thought it was counter-productive to actually print the document." I am not making this up. Two of their CSRs stated the same thing, which makes me think that this is a "talking point" they've been given from someone in product marketing to cover the fact that someone screwed up and didn't get the books printed.
    I finally got one of the CSRs to admit that, in fact, they actually did produce the manual - just like the others - and you can download it yourself.  After a good bit of search, I finally found where it's located.  In case you're looking for the same thing, here it is:
    Download Help PDF( 27MB)
    It's the full 519 pages of documentation that should have been published - just like all the others I bought.  This is just an oversight by someone at Adobe, plain and simple.  The CSR told me that I couldn't order the printed bound version.  But something tells me this is probably not the case - Adobe's probably just behind in getting books like this one published.
    If anyone knows another avenue to communicate with someone at Adobe who's better informed than the CSRs I spoke to earlier, please let me know.  I actually have more faith in Adobe to do the right thing and make good on sending me the book that I've already, in essence, purchased from them.  If they're behind, that's okay.  We all make mistakes.  But to give the lamest of excuses is intolerable.  Insulting, to say the least.
    And someone in their marketing department ought to know better.

    Additionally you can get the same content by going to Help>Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Help... which takes you to the HTML help files in the product or you can go to the direct link on the web  at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/Professional/index.html or via the Acrobat Community Help.

  • Manual for ms-7223 lies!

    Hi, hope someone can help me with this as it's driving me crazy!
    I downloaded the manual for my board (ms-7223) because I couldn't find any FSB settings in the BIOS. The manual shows a picture of the Cell_Menu with FSB options (below)
    What's weird is that when I go into the Cell_Menu in BIOS I get the same but missing the FSB settings! (I've doctored the image above to show what I can see)
    I've searched the MSI site for a new BIOS, found just one updated one, installed it but shows no difference apart from a different Live Update image and an update of the CPU microcode (don't really know what that is).
    I've also downloaded ClockGen, but I don't know the PLL of my processor and haven't managed to find it out yet. It's a P4 640 3.2Ghz if anybody can help with that also.
    Any help greatly appreciated on this.
    Thanks.

  • Manual for GPS Cradle no.6120 for Palm TX

    Hi all!
    I have Palm TX and GPS Cradle no.6120, but no manual for this cradle. Where is possible to find this manual?
    If impossible my quations are:
    1. Is GPS receiver already integrated in this cradle? If not, what kind of antenna can be inserted in socket "Antenna" on cradle?
    2. Power jack is for 5.2 Volt and in car is 12 Volt, what can I do? What kind power cable must I have?
    Thanks for your replys in advance.
    Post relates to: Palm TX

    Thank you for reply.
    This model number (6120) is writen on cradle, I can take a picture of label. So must be official number. And I have find cradles like this by german ebay (Kirrio GPS-KFZ-Halterung Cradle 6120 für PALM TX /E2/T5 http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=180372172250 ). It seems strange that no accessories of this model by Palm. And no accessories in general as GPS cradle for my model Palm TX. But your cradle model 3224NA is like of mine.
    I suppose I need also a spezial driver for my Palm TX for GPS cradle. I organized power 5.2 V from battery to cradle (jack is usual from nokia jack), but no success with GPS - no blinking light as sign - GPS is searching for satellites. And battery symbol of Palm TX was with lightning as for loading and correct power.
    And one more question about power cord. The conversion 12V of car to 5.2V for cradle is going in cabel or is this cabel only simple wire and convertion to 5.2V is already in cralde? I mean - can I take normal car cabel with right jack for crandle and it will be enough?

  • Manual for Macusers

    I have just bought Elements 12. I am a Mac user (iMac and Macbook) and I am searching for a manual Photoshop Elements 12 specially for the Mac. Elements 12 for the Mac has no Dutch version, so I have the English version. I have a manual but that is mainly for Windows and some functions in the Mac version ar probably hidden on different places. So I am desperately looking for a manual for Mac.
    Can anybody tell me weather there is one available.

    There are no manuals or help files specifically for Mac users.  The generic ones are at this link:
    <http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop-elements_reference.pdf>
    <http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/elements-organizer_reference.pdf>
    If these can't help you then I am afraid you'll have to buy books.

  • Manual for AIR

    Ok, i have been sitting here and trying to find livedocs or
    manual for air but without any luck.
    I followed up a tutorial and made everything exactly as show
    and told but i still get errors.
    Where can i find Code list for air, i mean codes that work
    with Air ?
    The problem that i ran into is this one:
    close.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, doClose);
    function doClose(e:MouseEvent):void{
    stage.window.close();
    And the error (is about strage.window.close() )
    1119: Access of possibly undefined property window through a
    reference with static type flash.display:Stage.

    The error says that the object 'stage' doesn't have a
    property 'window'. And if I open the Help in Flex Builder and do a
    search for 'stage', I come to the reference for
    'flash.display.Stage', and indeed, there is no 'window' property.
    This answers your other question: the manual is inside Flex
    Builder. 60 seconds of googling and poking around on Adobe's site
    says the online version of this is here:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/air/
    If I had to guess how to close the main window
    programmatically, it would be:
    this.nativeWindow.close()
    from within the WindowedApplication scope, or:
    Application.application.nativeWindow.close()
    from anywhere else in the program.
    Also, you don't have to define the function separately in
    this instance. That's procedural thinking. ActionScript has
    first-class functions:
    close.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, function
    (e:MouseEvent):void { this.nativeWindow.close(); });

  • 'Search' slow for common entries

    Good morning!  I'm using RoboHelp HTML 8.0.2.208, and generating a FlashHelp online user manual.  I have several words/phrases in the manual that are very common, and if/when these items are entered into the 'Search' bar it seems to bog down the system - the system shows a glowing "searching" indicator, but I've waited several minutes without any results before having to close the search window.  Is there a way to optimize this function without excluding many of the topics from search?

    Hi,
    I have the same exact problem, with one little twist. I have 76 topics in all, 38 in English and 38 in French. I generate Flash Help based on a conditional build with a specific TOC and index. The Search works fine in English, but the issue you are describing (glowing ''searching'' indicator for several minutes, no results) comes up in French, even though both versions are defined the same way. I've looked all around and can't seem to find a solution. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

  • Can we define search paths for an SQR ( just like -i for SQC )

    Is it possible to define search paths for an SQR ?
    Ie at run time, we would like the system to look for the SQR in c:\sqr1\ if not found then look in c:\sqr2\ and so on .. until c:\sqr4\
    Right now this feature exists ONLY for the SQC via the -i flag
    ( ex: c:\ps_home\bin\sqr\ora\BINW\sqrw.exe c:\xrfwin.sqr -ic:\sqr1\;c:\sqr2;c:\sqr3;c:\sqr4\ )
    We would like to be able to do it VIA:
    1) The process Scheduler. ( Where do we set it up ? in PSPRCS.CFG ? Not sure how )
    2) Command line. ( We can't find any flag that could satisfy this need )
    Note: We heard about a few hints ( SQRPATH, psprcs file, @FILE flag, PSSQR ) but not able get any of them cleared out.
    This is delaying our development and it's quite crucial for us.
    Any thoughts or hints would be VERY APPRECIATED !!

    If you don't find anything and the cmd line is really needed, you could probably write your own script (ie .bat or .cmd) looking for the sqr which you could give as a parameter.
