I have the problem with my new iphone 5s which is used in 3days, It no service and just searching the service very long time, and it still no service. Moreover I can not remove my Icloud account and lost the IMEI number too. I really don't understand about this case becasue it's the new iphone.
Please kindly to help me solve the problem.

Can not delete icloud account

My icloud account is set up to my old email address, I have no way of accessing this email account. When I try to delete the icloud account on my phone it asks for a password, but password does not work and when I answer the security questions it says my birthday is invalid. I think this might be because it is an old apple id that probably no longer exists. It wont let me delete the account, turn off find my iphone or change it. Does anyone know what I can do to delete this icloud account and set it up wtih my new apple id?

I finally managed to get my iPhone 'unClouded' by disabling the individual options whist the phone was tethered to my MacBook.
In iTunes itself I then re-enabled the 'old-style' of syncing my address book & contacts to the iPhone, opting to replace the ocntent of the iPhone. (I was 100% sure my MacBook address was OK, and was my iCal in the Mac)
So in short here were the steps:
1. On MacBook, disable all iCould except the 'Find my Mac'
2. Tether iPhone to Mac.
3. On iPhone disable all iCloud (except find my iPhone)
4. In Itunes select the old-style options of what you like to sync with phone
This appeared to work for me.
Also as a plus, my battery life on the phone appears to be back at pre-IOS5. (Still at 100% after 2 hours, not back to the lower 90-ties)

Typo in Apple ID with iCloud. I can not delete icloud account as I can not sign in to sign out.

I have one wrong letter in apple ID associated with iCloud. I tried all the solutions available but nothing worked for me. My iCloud is not verified because i dont have the password for non existing apple id.
1) I changed the country in 'Manage my account' on the apple website
2) I tried resetting all settings
3) but the apple id in iCloud ask for its password.
4) I tried to delete the iCloud account. If I scroll down, I get sign out button. I clicked it. Then I get option ' Delete from iPhone', I clicked it. Then I get a small pop up window saying 'Password Required' - with 'enter apple iD password for "[email protected]" (typo email address) to turn off Find My Iphone'
5) The application forces me to sign in into the non existing apple id
How can I activate/ verify my icloud account with correct apple id?

Thanks so much for being out there for me - someone I can talk to. I went to purchases and unfortunately it is no longer there. I dowloaded the Notes App again for free. I will just buy Bejeweled again. I guess the price of downloading maverick was losing my beloved video game. I used an external micophone and now the internal micophones can not be used

I used an external micophone and now the internal micophones can not be found or re-activated. Envy I7 17" win 8.1. When the new headphones installed software I saw a flash that it was uninstalling the internal micophone array. I was not given a choice and now I can't get the internal microphones back on reguardless of what I try...
I have a newer HP Envy Notebook running Win 8.1 and is a I7 with toch screen. I have not tried any restore options but I have already loaded a lot of software, Outlook, Adobe CS6 etc.

Both the 'delete' button and in the menu options do not delete messages but change them to unread. How can I remedy this?

The delete function seems to no longer work in Thunderbird. Both the 'delete' button and in the menu options do not delete messages but change them to unread.
I have tried to fix it by deleting the trash / deleted files as suggested in another thread but it made no difference. The delete key still works to delete things outside of Thunderbird (including here for example).
I have not uninstalled / reinstalled. I have rebooted a couple of times and it hasn't made any difference.
I did go through and delete a huge number of old emails a few days ago, but I have cleared out the Deleted folders and it made no difference.
All suggestions appreciated.

Right click on any of the other right panel headers in Slideshow module to open the context menu. You should be able to reactivate the Options panel from there.

If you didn't create an iCloud account on an iOS device or Mac, you don't have one. You can't create an account on a PC. If you were charged for an iCloud storage upgrade without having an account, contact the Apple online store at the bottom of this page for a refund.

I can not delete email drafts that showup after sending an email via icloud. Any suggestions?

I've had this problem before, and there is a way to fix it!
Mac computer
On a Mac, go to Mail and open Preferences. Go to the 'Accounts' tab and select your iCloud account. Under 'Mailbox Behaviours' you will see a box marked 'Store draft messages on the server'. You need to make sure it is unchecked.
iOS device
On an iOS device, go to settings and go to the iCloud section. Then, tap 'Account' at the top of the page, and scroll down and tap 'Mail' under 'Advanced'. Scroll down again and tap 'Advanced'. Finally, tap 'Drafts Mailbox' and make sure 'Drafts' under 'On My iPad/iPhone/iPod' is selected.
Essentially, the problem is that Mail is saving drafts of your messages to the server as you write them. The problem occurs when you send the message, and Mail then redownloads the draft from the server. By disabling saving drafts to the server, you are stopping this conflict from occuring.

I have an IMAP account in mail which i can not delete
I have a server but this account is Not associated to it however it has the same alphabetical content as the servers website excepting the part before the servers name.
Tried disconnecting the server & the network
I can NOT select ENABLE THIS ACCOUNT either as it wont save it
I select the account & delete mail recreates it
If i delete the imap smtp server & then try to delete mail recreates 2 additional copies & fails to delete the current one
This account is Not in i cal
This is driving me crazy

It doesn't work here as well. Try the "-" to delete account, it keeps coming back.
I also tried go into my mail folder in user\library\...IMAP-... and deleted that folder, it keeps coming back.
Besides,
1. my IMAP server is no longer available. (where my can-not-be-deleted IMAP is associated
2. I have just upgraded to OS X 10.6.2

How do I change the phone number associated with my iCloud account after replacing my phone and switching carriers/getting a new phone number?

I recently replaced my lost iPhone but in the process, had to switch carriers and activate a new phone number. I backed the new phone up from iCloud which was still attached to the old number (for example, when I attempt to sync Keychains, the security code continues to be sent to the old number). I'm looking to update my iCloud account with the new phone number so I can sync my devices and any I might get in the future. Help! Please!

I recently broke my iPad screen and replaced the iPad. All of my iCloud account was able to be uploaded again except for some work we did in NUMBERS. Any suggestions to find it it out there in the cloud?

Everything came back from iCloud except some work I had done in NUMBERS. Any suggestions? I'd love to relocate this work.

You cannot prevent it from being erased now. But surely you backup with iCloud or iTunes and/or sync with iTunes so when you get the iPad up and running again, just restore from your iCloud backup, or your iTunes backup and then sync with iTunes again and you will be OK.
If you don't backup or sync .... Well then you should probably think about doing so in the future. Out of the mouth of a Apple ......
