Searching the correct "style.css" sheet for InfoView

Hi guys,
i have to customize the apperience of InfoView for a Customer. I did pretty good by using Firefox and "FireBug" PlugIn so i can see which *.css Files i need to edit.
I hearbly cant find the "style.css" sheet for the Panel in the "Document List". I mean the Panel with the Buttons "Switch to Folder", "Switch to Categories", "Refresh", "New", and so on.
I also need to customize the Background color, Font, etc. there.
Firebug tells me the style.css lies here:
SERVER:8080/InfoViewAppActions/ure/ure/dhtmllib/custom/skin_ure
But on the OS side i only have:
D:\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewAppActions\
And even no "style.css" file under the whole Folder InfoViewAppActions.
Anyone knows where i cant find this stylesheet ?

Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2
BOE XI 3.1 FP 1.4
Default Tomcat 5.5

The file omni.jar is a ZIP archive in the Firefox installation folder that stores a lot of the extra (chrome) files that Firefox uses. In previous Firefox versions those files were separate files on disk, but those files were moved to one large ZIP archive that has an optimized file order to load the files in it as quickly as possible during the start up. If you want to inspect files in that archive and your file manager doesn't allow access directly than make a copy of the file and add a .zip file extension.
You can open that archive file and browse to the /chrome/toolkit/res folder.

Internal CSS Sheets for Design Mode

Hello,
i've an problem with using my own CSS Stylesheets.
The WYSIWYG Editor shows not the right things, cause i'am using browser hacks and difficult CSS Statements.
Can I define own Stylesheets only for the WYSIWYG Editor so that the Editor uses this Sheets for rendering?
Such functionality has the Adobe MAcromedia Dreamweaver for example.

I believe you are using the components provided in the creator palette.
These components take care that they get rendered correctly in most of the widely used browsers. So, you musnt really be using "browser hacks" for these components.
If there is something complicated that needs to be done to make these components render correctly, please bring it out so that it can be fixed by appropriate developers.
These components on the palette rely on CSS to give the look and feel that they have. Providing two different sets of style sheets at creation time and after they have been deployed would mean that errors that may be found out during page creation may not happen.
That said, i believe there may be a way in which you could do this. (though i havent tested it.). The themes documentation link that was given earlier talks about creating custom themes. So, for WYSIWYG editing, you could put your own custom theme designed for that particular purpose in there and then for deployment, create a war file for the application, replace the theme present in WEB-INF/lib (i think this is the correct path that creator puts the themes jar file inside) directory with the themes jar file that you intend to use for deployment purposes.

Try googling but most of us create our own style sheets using

Is this the correct type of Ram for a mac mini?

I have a 2007 Mac mini, and want to go from 1gig to 2 gigs of Ram.
I currently have 2 512's
I need to know 2 things. (i'm pretty sure on both but i'm not a huge hardware guy to bare with me)
1. Will there be any compatibility problems? I.e if i upgrade to 2 gigs will it even help or because the rest of the computer is not being upgraded will it be useless?

NO, it will NOT work.
You have to find the memory specific for Mac, and rule of thumb, Mac Intel chips usually take "ECC" memory. On occasions, You can get away with Non-ECC (on certain PPC Power Mac G5 towers) -- You can check on-line stores, like Newegg, Tigerdirect, or Goolge search for the Mac Mini memory. I got mine (for my two Mac 2,1) on line, and I put 4G (2x 2G), although only 3G was available.
It is worth of upgrade it. just need to find the right memory.

Yes that is the correct version, at least that's the one that comes out of the box. You can upgrade to later versions but you have to do this both on the server and on the client. One thing that you must not do is allow the client machines to upgrade when the server is still on 1.4.2_06

Smartform Alignment for the PDS(Personal Data Sheet) for Japanese Language

Hi,
I have a Probelm in the alignment in the smartform for the Personal data sheet report when logon in
Japanese language.
The texst are Overlapping.
For example:
I have 2 columns in the PDS such as Postion title and Job title.
The texts in the Postion title is Overlapping into the Jobtitle and So on.
And the issue is happening only when i log onto Japanese Language(JA) where as for other languages
the texts are not overlapping.
Could anybody help me in solving the issue.

Japanese characters usually occupy duble byte space, that is a single japanese character will occupy the space of 'AB',
so what you can do is,
change the layout of the Screen (make the window larger),
you can split the text and write it in two lines (if your team agrees)
you will have to create a seperate Smartform for Japanese Language
you can try condensing the text &test(C)& for certain texts it might work

Need help on the correct directory extract structure for SP15 .SAR files

Hi all,
With the help of many here I have been able to finally download all the SP15 files I need for my EP 6.0 on WAS 6.40. I am currently on SP11 for both EP and WAS and want to move up to SP15.
I downloaded all the .SAR files and did SAPCAR -xvf all from within a temp directory I created. Yes, some of the LABEL.ASC files were being overwritten.
After all the extracts, I ran SAPINST and it did start, but unlike when I ran SP11, I had options for KM, EP, Tools, etc. This time it only presented me with options for the WAS and the first option was "Import Support Package 15" (with the other options being for dialog instances). There was nothing about EP, Tools, KM, etc.
I ran the Import option and it completed successfully. I then thought it either did everything or if I reran it the other options (for EP, KM, etc.) would now show up. Of course, I was wrong.
So where am I exactly going wrong regarding extracting all the .SAR files into the proper directory structure so that SAPINST runs correctly?
Please help if you can.

Hello Mike,
I think you extracted the files for the J2ee engine. Generally you will have a different SAPINST for Portal. Please refer the stack guide for SPS15 Page 22 for the files you need and the procedure to apply it.

Need help picking the correct hard drive upgrade for my MBP

I need help picking the correct/best hard drive upgrade for my MBP. It is the 15" 2GHz Core Duo. Came with a spacious 90GB drive.
Suggestions and recommendations very appreciated.

It will take almost any 2.5 inch sata drive.

Toshiba have a 320gb 2,.5 inch drive in the works, but it's not quite out yet and will be expensive.

Anyone have the Photodon anti-glare sheet for imac?

I just purchased the photodon antiglare sheet for my alu imac 24". I tried the little sample sheet first and I have to say, although it does reduce glare, it doesn't make a HUGE reduction (at least looking at the test sheet). Also, there appears to be almost a jewly, speckley appearance under the test sheet.
Is this my imagination? When you get the whole sheet on, does the screen just look "good," albeit with less glare?

This is almost like those awful "anti-radiation" screens they had back in the late 90's.
They dealt with people's fears not the real problems. A very successful and lucrative idea because it solved nothing and lead to people spending even more money.
The problem was the cheap PCs had a low refresh rate and the flickering gave you headaches. The term radiation had connotations of "nuclear", but was really just harmless light.
Sticking something on top of the glossy glass screens only exacerbates the issues. You are adding multiple surfaces to the screen. The outer surface of the sheet, the boundary between sheet and adhesive and the boundary between the adhesive and the glass. Not counting all the inevitable bubbles.
Each distorts, scatters and changes the tone and color of the light both shining onto the surface and shining from behind, plus the mix of the two. None of them improves anything.
Just smear Vaseline all over the screen, it is what they did on movie camera lens for ageing Hollywood actresses, to blur and hide their wrinkles. Or if you wear glasses take them off, it'll do something similar and equally unproductive.

How can I get Firefox 4 to correctly display CSS padding for a horizontal nav bar (works in most other browsers, incl. earlier FF)?

I have just coded a horizontal nav bar for a site with CSS rollover effects using a:hover and a: focus effects. There are no images, just HTML and CSS. The layout works beautifully in IE 6 - 8, Safari for Windows, Opera for Windows...and Firefox 3.X but behaves poorly in Firefox 4. I've hardly ever had problems with FF before. :(

The rollovers extend below the height of the background div and the extra padding on the first and last li tag don't display correctly either. The page passes WebDeveloper toolbar CSS and HTML validation as well.

What is the correct device to use for content/application routing/switching?

We currently have 2 data centres and traffic from anywhere is sent from our customers to a Windows cluster IP and TCP port number. Its old and unreliable and unwieldy.
What i am looking for is a device that sits one network hop up from our 2 data centres that can support our internet facing IP address and make routing decisions based on a combination of source/destination address and source/destination port as to which data centre and ultimately which server the traffic is forwarded to. This will then allow me to direct all traffic to one DC whilst hardware in the other is upgraded.
In the old days I would have looked at things like ACE or even CSS but those are gone or going and there does not seem to be a clear replacement path with Cisco unless someone knows different.

Hi Matthew, the load balancing that was with the CIsco ACE has been reintegrated into the IOS of most ISR routers now a days. What is the correct replacement optical drive for MBP late 2007?

Hello all,
I am finally getting around to replacing my failed SuperDrive, a Panasonic UJ-857E.
Reputable online resellers say the Panasonic UJ-867A will work. I bought one. It will not work, because the ribbon cable connector is a different shape than the connector on the original drive.
Local Apple store tried to order a ribbon cable that would work, but determined there is no such cable: there is just no way to connect the UJ-867A to this MBP.
They kindly offered to get me a drive that will work from Apple, but $180 seems a little steep to me. I asked them for the model / part number of this new drive, but they have so far declined.
Does anyone know with certainty what drive I should be looking for? The MBP is late 2007, model # A1226.
