Searchspec on Siebel Integration Component not working

Hi All,
Has anyone successfully applied the user property 'searchspec' on a Integration Component?
I have tested but it's not working for me. I have seen that this user property exist on some of the standard vanilla ICs.

I agree, we have not been able to get it to work. What you're supposed to be able to so is pass the SearchSpec as a parameter through the web service so the web service will apply that spec to the IO when querying, but that also does not work (though it's supposed to). I have an open ticket with Oracle and they are identifying the issue as we speak.

Hello all,
I am facing an issue with CommandToolbarButton. On Click of the button, I am not able to call the actionListener backingbean method. I have default PartialSubmit true and immediate to false. It does not throw any error but just does not call the method. Here is the code :

Integrated ethernet not working

I have a K7N2 Delta ILSR mainboard. I was trying to use the integrated network adapter but it was NO GO. I updated to the latest drivers, but still NO GO. I installed a pci network card and that solved the problem, but I'm just a little pissed about these integrated features not working. Does anyone have any troubleshooting pointers for me?

I had problems with my system and my PCI ethernet card.... was giving me hell, downloaded drivers and everything... IRQ's are main problem with my board, and that was what it happened to be for me... I found this out 2 weeks after I set up my USB connection to my cable modem... I'd recommend using a USB connection, fast, efficient, and most of all....it's easy. As they say, patience is a vitue... Well, I happen to be a very sinful man, lol...goodluck with your Ethernet connection

BIP Report in Siebel mobile is not working in languages other than English

We have upgraded our Siebel from 7.8 to Siebel 8.1 and in that we have moved from Actuate to BIP Reports. We have created a customized report in which we have put in the Filters on '.rtf' file to show a particular set of data. This report is deployed for 3 languages : English (ENU), Portuguese (PTB) and Spanish (ESN).After deploying this report, on Web application, it is working fine for all the languages but we are facing an issue on mobile client, the report is only working fine in ENU but for other languages(PTB & ESN) it is failing (means the filter which we put on '.rtf' is not working on other languages).
Is anybody face this issue and what will be the solution for this?

I think you need to first translate the smartform into other languages. Before translation, it wont work.
Steps for translation:
1. goto Transaction SE63
2. in R3 Enterprise select form menu
Translation - ABAP Objects - Other long texts
3. select FS - SSF-Smart Form
4. Object Name: choose your smart form
5. select target language
6. press edit

N8 integrated GPS not working ANNA

Hi,
Integrated GPS is not working on my New N8 with anna. I tried Hard rest and even Google maps. OVI works with A-gps but position is highly inaccurate. I can see a notification which says GPS available but no satellites are locked. Confirmed this with Google maps. Is this a hardware issue?

Sounds like a dud antenna but...
If it was working before Anna then check your Positioning Settings under Settings/Application Settings/Positioning especially check that the Positioning server is set to supl.nokia.com
Have you tried the Battery Out Reset (Power off the hold power button for about 8 seconds until you feel three vibrations)
Try re-installing Anna using Ovi Suite or Nokia Software Updater.
Note: if your in an area with no Internet connection it may take 20 minutes or more to get an initial fix and it's best to be stationary while its doing it.

Embeded Flash component not working

I have createdf a Flash movie using the Drag & Drop
Learning Interactions Component using Flash MX 2004. The
interaction works fine as standalone Flash movie but when embedded
in an Adobe Presenter presentation, the drag works ok but it will
not drop the object. I have had the Breeze control the Flash movie
and also Breeze not control the movie.
Any ideas?

As you have no doubt already realized, using the Learning
Interaction templates that are available in Flash MX / MX2004 and 8
will not work at all in Presenter content.
The coding methods conflict while playing back within the
Breeze environment and I
think it has to do with the _dropTarget property as part of
the interaction's codebase. The _dropTarget method is NOT supported
in Breeze, but the hitTest() method IS!
I have written a few drag and drop exercises that do work
within Breeze content, and you have to use the hitTest() method to
accomplish it.
As you already have discovered, the bottom line is that the
learning components were intended to be "stand alone" objects that
could be incorporated into a web page (or even a CD as these
objects are nothing more than swf files). Aside from the fact that
the prebuilt/preconfigured learning objects in flash don't always
work in Breeze, in my mind, the bigger question here is the ability
(or more accurately) the inability to connect these SCO's to an LMS
for tracking. As stand alone objects, they're actually pretty
handy...but not in Breeze.
I realize this doesn't help much with what you're trying to
do, but from my perspective, you're better off creating your own
drag n' drops.
I've got a bunch of examples to share if you'd like to take a

Lenovo x201 tablet laptop Integrated Webcam not working

I recently had to reinstall windows onto the Lenovo x201 tablet laptop and I can't get the integrated webcam to work on Google+. I tried downloading the integrated camera driver but during installation it stops about 3/4s of the way and the installation cancels. Not sure how to fix this , I checked under Device Manager and the camera driver is not listed under imaging devices. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks.

As per our concern, I would suggest you to please re-install the camera driver from the below mentioned web link.

After that please perform the following steps.
1. Press Fn+F6 to enable the camera.
2. Click the Manage Settingsbutton. The Communications Utility window opens.
3. In the Communications Utility window, configure the camera settings depending on your individual needs.

Integrated camera not working windows 8 X201

I upgraded to Windows 8 some time ago and did not notice that my integrated camera is not recognized, the driver is not listed in the downloads for the laptop but states this is a Windows Inbox Driver. Where can I get the driver AND where in the device manager is it listed. Thanks.

I would not upgrade to Windows 8, lots of issues and the camera still does not work. It does work when I load Linux so its not the camera. I have tried everything, old drivers, new drivers. My wireless doesnt work either, not sure I'd get anothe Lenovo.

Integrated camera not working properly

I just bought a new Thinkpad E540 laptop and my integrated camera was not working properly since the begining. I used Winodws 8 before, upadated it to 8.1, installed the last drivers (at least I think I did), but the problems stays the same. Camera is not working properly as it can clearly be seen from this picture:

It used to work for few days froperly but only when using Windows Camera application, but never in skype or other applications, so it has to be software issue.

Lenovo has not yet released camera drivers for Windows 8.1. Below link gives list of camera drivers for Thinkpad E540. Select 'Camera and Card reader' and you get list of camera drivers.

In this case, you need to downgrade your OS to Windows 8 or contact Lenovo service center for Windows 8.1 camera driver.

Integrated Camera not working on X201

I have a X201 3626-A61. Installed windows XP.
1. I have a brand new hard disk, installed fresh windows XP and my integrated camera works perfectly from windows explorer. Through device manager, I checked that its sensed as a USB Video Device and uses I guess the default microsoft driver. I did this extra step to ensure that there is NO hardware problem with my camera.
2. Then I insert back my regular hard disk that I use daily. This is where the problem is. As soon as I right click on the "USB video device", I get error "Creation of Video preview failed". In device manager, it shows as USB video device and shows the default microsoft driver. I have tried downloading both versions of the drivers available on lenovo ( I dont know why there are 2 separate files) and it does not help. When I install them, device manager show's up as "integrated camera". Uninstall of lenovo driver actually does not uninstall it correctly. So I had to delete all the relevant entries from the registry and even from oem*.inf files. No luck
I even tried to un-install the "usb video device" from device manager and also uninstalled all the items listed under "universal serial bus controllers".. but no luck.
One thing I observed was that as soon as I uninstall all these and then do a scan for hardware changes, it installs the enhanced host controller, usb root hub, generic usb hub, and for a second it detects it as "integrated camera" with a yellow mark and then it automatically changes to "USB video device". I feel this is the error.. where the Lenovo driver remains are still there somewhere and it partially detects it as integrated camera and then it conflicts with the Microsoft USB video camera drivers......
Can some one please help ?

However, when I insert my original regular use hard disk that has 5 month old win XP ( which means i have installed softwares on it ), it does not WORK. I have tried installing, uninstalling the Lenovo software. No luck, even after uninstallation, the driver was still pointing to the lenovo binaries/dlls, so I did a clean up of those using regseeker in the registry... and then let windows xp find the hardware, which it does and installs the default windows drivers and the camera shows up as "USB video device" in device Manager. However, when I click on it in the windows explorer, I do not get any image but the error "video preview failed........". I even tried copying al the .ax, .dll and .sys files that device manager shows in the brand new hard disk / new XP onto my hard disk,,, but not luck..... This is just so very frustrating..... as I cannot install fresh my XP....
What is confusing to me that why is the driver that is available on the Lenovo website not fixing my problem when I install them fresh on my old hard disk ? Also, there are 2 links on the Lenovo website that point to 2 different binaries for the integrated camera drivre and I have tried using both.

We have our identity provider / service provider in two different segment of the network and there is no http/https connection between these segments as we assumed that all the communication is going through the browser and we would not need the port to be opened on the firewall. Is it something which is absolutely necessary? In our opinion it negates all the benefits of SAML

Hi Elena,
The issue was discovered and fixed during the SAML Interoperability Tests early last year (2011). I'm not sure I will be able to find a dedicated note because the fix was not downported but just submitted in the latest SP in correction. If you need a justification then you can open a support ticket with SAP and this will be the official answer there. If you do so please to not forget to attach traces from the system - use the tool described in 1332726 with type "SAML 2.0 (Info)". If you send me the ticket number I can speed-up the processing of the ticket.

Integrated mic Not Working

I have a N100 3000 System and I can't get my integrated microphone to work. I am running windows Vista and have dowloaded the latest audio drivers. Anyone know what else can I do? Also, does anyone know the model of the integrated microphone?

I have a 3000 N100 (0768) and a similar problem. The audio device is SoundMAX. The mic doesn't work, internal or external. It's my first laptop where two devices are shown - one for playback (HD Audio 0) and one for recording (HD Audio 1). The Properties button for the mic is inactive (grey) and in the volume options it's shown as disabled. I bought the laptop used and don't know if the mic is in order. Is it even possible that only the mic is defective and the rest of the audio device is OK? Can I make it work?

Integrated speakers not working on MacBook 13" 10.5.8

Speakers are not working on MacBook 13" 10.5.8, however the startup chime does work. Plug-in headphones also work. Have searched all over google for answers but nothing fixes it. How do I check the drivers are correct?
