Season Pass - LOST (Televison Show) - Not working

I purchased a season pass for the 3rd season of LOST. I've downloaded all 6 episodes when they were available. iTunes would kindly send me an email... The 7th episode which aired last night (02/08/07) is available and ready to download. However my season pass is not showing up. iTunes wants me to buy the episode.
Apple what's up with my season pass?
Anyone else having a this issue? Suggestions?

Ditto on the unavailable download. I have the season pass as well and when I check for purchases it says I have downloaded all available purchases. Clearly I have not done so because I have not downloaded last night's episode. I had a similar problem a week or two ago with Heroes, and after three or four days I was finally able to download my pre-purchased episode.
Seems that other users recently had the same problem with 30 Rock and Studio 60. Looks to me like the iTunes folks are not up to the task of managing the season pass option.
What's the point of a season pass if you can buy individual episodes before season pass episodes are available?

  • ITunes TV Show Season Pass Issues - How is it working for you?

    I love iTunes Season passes.  I love letting a show accumulate without worrying about storms, sports messing up recording times, power outages, storage of my DVR, etc...  The shows are always going to be there to watch.  However for well over a year ago Apple removed the new TV Show episodes from coming via the Check Available Downloads option.  Since then we have had a plethera of options presented to us.  However I continue to have mixed results.  I have tried using my Apple Care to get support.  But since its more like a cloud or iTunes issue, they send me to the web which is nothing but email support.  Email support suggests these 4 methods.  3 out of the 4 rarely work for me in a reliable or timely way.  I am looking for those who have the same issues/challenges and understand if you have found a better way or even a root cause why I am getting these results.   
    First method is using the email notifications you can turn on when you manage your season pases via iTunes Account inside the iTunes application.  You click the email link, it launches Safari, Safari launches iTunes, in a few seconds you get a "Cancel" or "Download" pop up in iTunes.  You click download and it will download the show.  You must repeat this for each email notification/show... daily.  It can be hap hazard as the notifications sometimes come at 2am and others throughout the next day. 
    Second method is going to iTunes store in iTunes, click on TV Shows, Click on Purchased... and there you can select "not on this computer" to see what episodes are new and not downloaded yet.  This is actually fairly straight forward and easier than the email links.  However I am having an issue where even though I have the notification, the show does not show up in my purchases.  If I switch over to "shows" vs "seasons" I see the episodes from all my email notifications.  But generally only the behind the scense have the icloud download icon.  (see attached screen shot) The work around is to go to the TV show page itself for that season, scroll and use the download button there for each new epiosde you have not downloaded.  This is probably now less optimal than the email. 
    Third method is to enable "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" via iTunes Preferences.  I dread it evertime its suggested I try this.  When I enable this option, all shows and movies marked as "unwatched" get marked as "watched."  Right now, I have a large number of episodes unwatched right now.  So it would be ALOT to clean up to try it again.  When I have used this, its by far the easiest to use (besides the former retired "check for available downloads" option.  You just go to your TV Shows in your library, unwatched tab, and just click the download icons.  You dont even have to leave your library.  However there seems to be a bug.  I suspect it has something to do with my machine sleeping and the internet connection dropping and not re-establishing before iTunes is trying to reconnect.  The end result is the iTunes in the cloud preference disappears or gets completely reset.... and it totally messes with your unwatched and watched shows.  I have showed it to an Apple Care rep as they were connected to my machine.  They couldnt believe it.  So I would REALLY love to know if anyone has tried this method recently and NOT had these issues.  Its a good hour of work if it does not work cleaning up the after math.  So feedback would be welcome. 
    Fourth option is instead of downloading, stream it.  This is not my preferred method because I sometimes will rewatch an episode multipe times due to distractions from work, shool, or re-watching it later with a friend to catch them up.  Once I have it downloaded, the critial path is limited to my home network. However I never really have issues with long buffering and streaming because I have a 50mps up/downlink internet.  The issue I am running into this method is sometimes the newest episode is not showing up in AppleTV > TV Shows > Purchases > Recent for that TV Show and Season.  It will eventually make it there... but I am not sure what the secret sauce is for it to become available. 
    I am doing my best to keep this to a civil request for feedback from fellow users and fans of the TV Show Season Passes.  I would even welcome an Apple response.  I am currently trying to get iTunes support to look into these again.  But I keep getting looped into one of the four options with each email exchange.... even though I have already explain, provided screen shots, etc...  Its sort of exhausting when you are stuck with email as your only path to explain and help.  Especially when you spent the money on Apple Care.  Perhaps I need to just make an apppointment at my Apple store so I can SHOW them what happens.  But that is a pain to lug in a 27" iMac and a 6TB thunderbolt drive.  FEEDBACK welcome!

    I'm having the same problem on Windows and Mac, neither automatically download episodes from any of my season passes, nor do they find it when I select "Check for available downloads,"  it informs me all episodes have been downloaded for my Apple ID, which in fact they have not.  
    I have to find the episode in my Library(which shows all available episodes on my computer and in the iTunes Store) and from there I have to manually click to download.  I tried deauthorizing all my computers and reauthorizing just one computer, and that didn't work either.  I also deleted my other device(iPad) from the "iTunes in the Cloud" just in case there was some issue associated with that, and that didn't work either.
    It’s sad that the iTunes rep didn't really "listen" to what you said.  I find this happens at many other companies too.  They often are trying to fit your problem into some prepared script or solution, or they are distracted or in a hurry and don't actually read or listen fully to an even well defined account of the problem.

    I always check email for a confirmation of purchase before I worry- and I did get one. But apparently ( not like normally) this last pass purchase I made had some kind if delay in showing up as purchased on ATV. Half an hour later- there it is.... Which is good sine I had to answers on what to do other than restart again. If it doesn't show in yr acct or have a receipt- id rebut it. It's easier to get them to refund a duplicate than search for the invisible.

  • Will my Season Pass (for TV show) continue to download even when I travel to another country?

    In a few weeks, I'll be traveling and living in China for a year.... Of course this means I'll be missing the excellent Fall lineup of TV shows, but iTunes would theoretically help me with that.
    So my question is that if I download the season passes for let's say "Scandal" and "Agents of Shield," would I be able to continue downloading them off the cloud while in China? Or would I have to wait until I get back in the US? I'm not sure how the cloud works in China specifically, so any help would be much appreciated.

  • When is Apple going to fix the season pass for tv shows (The Walking Dead Season 2 for me)?

    Apple do you ever plan on fixing the season pass system?
    I can not download The Walking Dead episode three. This isn't the first show this has happened to me.
    It's frustrating since one would think you would work extra hard to make sure your season pass holders are happy. Afterall we pay for a whole season up front as compared to your other customers and the savings we get from buying a season pass are minimal. It's not like we are paying half off the season price.
    A little consideration in regards to those of us paying up front would be appreciated.

    Feedback falls on deaf ears, it would seem, given I know that many of us have used that avenue.  And no, I haven't noticed the other 90+ missing features, as I am unable to use the program due to it not being compatible with Endnote.  And yes, at present I am using Pages 09 whilst waiting for a fix. 
    I don't at all mean to diminish the importance of anyone elses frustration and complaint about a feature that has gone or no longer works.  This one is mine .  And for me and a large number of users it makes the program unusable.  Endnote is a program used by many universities and other institutions and relied on by many staff and students worldwide.  I just think that when an issue means you can no longer use the software, I would have hoped for some sort of indication from Apple that there will be a fix.  But perhaps the features you mention also make the program unusable?
    Anyway, maybe I'll give a review a go......

  • Syncing 10 Most Recent TV shows not working

    I've purchased the season pass to Lost. I tell AppleTV and iTunes to sync the 10 most recent episodes of Lost to the AppleTV. My AppleTV only has the first 10 episodes of the season. I noticed my season of Venture Brothers only has 10 epsiodes I watched. It left out the 3 epsiodes I haven't watched yet. Is this normal?

    That feature never worked for me in iTunes anyways. I've created smart playlists to do the trick. In the latest iTunes (7.1) I've noticed a "Mark as New" or "Mark as Not New" feature (upon ctrl-clicking). I know that iTunes is VERY finicky in that let's say you watch an entire episode, and you're like me, you don't wait til the very very end of the episode before you exit out, and stop the play of the file. The file will NOT register as "watched"...thereby effecting any smart playlists of "unplayed" etc.
    It seems like you should try to "Mark as New" or "Mark as Not New", on the Lost files you're referring to, and see what happens.

  • Burn Notice season pass "Depth Perception" is not downloading

    The latest episode 5.16 of Burn Notice Season Pass is not downloading - it usually is available the next day.  It has been 2 days now.  What's up???

    Yeah they've been having issues with season passes not downloading properly lately.... rather annoying.  As a prepaid purchaser we shouldn't have to wait and NOT have our shows while it's sitting there and those who didn't get the season pass are able to buy and download it.  We already paid for it, give it to us NOW.

  • Why my hp simple pass website login does not work with firefox latest version ?

    I have the latest version of firefox version 16.0.1 and my hp simple pass website login does not show up like it worked in IE9.

    I updated all the add ons already and I already reinstalled the HP simple pass after I installed firefox. I think that the new firefox is not yet compatible with the software (HP simple pass)

  • REPLACE command using passed variable values does not work

    Are you aware of the replace command not working when passing strings as opposed to a variable containing the string.
    For example:
    This works:
         replace '>JUL 2008</a>' with I_TEXT_VALUE into
                    I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
    This dosen't work:
         replace I_TEXT_VALUE_MATCH with I_TEXT_VALUE into
                     I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE.
    where I_TEXT_VALUE_MATCH = '>JUL 2008</a>'
    where I_TEXT_VALUE =  '>JUL 2008<BR>Actual</a>'

          CONCATENATE I_TEXT_VALUE_REPLACE I_TEXT_VALUE INTO

  • Problems with lost bookmarks, keypad not working, apps shutting down

    Out of the blue, while I was still using Safari, all my bookmarks disappeared. No matter how many times I tried to add a bookmark it doesn't show up on my Bookmarks tab. I've tried adding a new folder on my bookmarks tab but it doesn't work either. I don't know what's going on. I've already reset my iPhone once because there were so many problems after I downloaded iOS4.
    Also, I don't recall seeing "History" under the Bookmark tab but now it's there. The History option (along with the websites, etc.) comes and goes. Even after I delete everything from the Settings app, the history still shows up afterwards.
    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. If I absolutely need to (again), I'll reset my iPhone. I honestly didn't think I was going to have this many problems with iOS4. Everything was perfect before I downloaded the new operating system. I'm also experiencing other problems with iOS4 such as the keypad not working during a phone call and apps shutting down multiple times. Again, any help or suggestions would be great.

  • Sticky hide and show not working

    I believe I have followed Carl Backstrom's Sticky Hide and Show Region example to the letter for my own application.
    1 - I have the application items and application processes in place.
    2 - I have the javascript in the HTML Header attribute
    3 - The SHOW_HIDE_MEMORY package is in place
    4 - I edited the Hide and Show Region template
    I'm on Apex version 3.0.0.00.20
    The collection does not seem to be getting populated. I'm wondering if the region template which includes this code is not working: onclick="$r_ToggleAndSave(this,'#REGION_ID#')" id="#REGION_ID#img"
    My regions are always collapsed when I navigate away and return to the page and the collection is always empty. I've checked the state of the temporary item after clicking the expand (+) button and the value is always null.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm not seeing any obvious errors on the screen or in the message bar. I just downloaded the Firefox javascript debugger extension. I'm not exactly sure how to use this tool, but when I expand a hidden region, I do see this message in the debugger screen:

  • Season pass doesn't show all episodes

    I bought a season pass for the Good Wife on the understanding that I would be able to view current and future episodes. However, I cannot seem to view any episodes which have not already aired in the UK. I would like to know how I access future episodes. Any help much appreciated.

    I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. When you purchase a Season Pass of a currently airing television program, you are buying the entire season/series, but each episode is only available as it is aired (i.e. not in advance of their normal broadcast date), as outlined in the following articles:

  • Keychain pass seems to randomly not work

    A week ago i could not access my MAcBook Pro (OSx 10.6.7) Went in through the admin account with the help of our IS and changed my pass and was able to get in.   renamed the old login.keychain login_old.  
    Am using 1Password to save passwords .. set not to store its master pass in the login key chain .. and Knox, an encryption package by the same company (Agile ) ...  There is a long story here related to these products .. I have been going around with their tech support ... but i think my keychain probllems are related to these products.  ... will not relate this now ..
    Now i have a login keychain with my current working pass,  and the old renamed login keychain  login_old  with the old pass that stopped working.  login_old actaully has several keychains ... including the login for encryption  program.  i cannot open this keychain, because the mast pass doesnt work ..
    When i try to access the encrypted file vault created by Knox,  i can get into vault2  but not vault1 .... the pass is the same, and the same as my old master pass.   the OS prompts me to enter the pass for Login_OLD ... which doesnt work .. when that fails, it prompts me to enter the vault pass directly ... this works for vault2 but not for vault1 ..... so i appear to be permanelty locked out of vault1.
    Yesterday, after a week of being resolved to not being able to ever recover vault1,  I tried it again,  and amazingly, the old password worked and was able to get into the vaults apparently because i logged successfully into login_old .... as soon as this happened, i moved files out of the vault ... i also looked at the passwords in the login_old .. and they were all there and exactly as i remembered them ... (Agile keeps telling me i have just forgotten the passwords).  everything seemed to be working fine .... rebooted teh machine ... and now i can no longer get into teh vaults, nor into login_old ....
    I had a similar thing happen with 1Password ... was locked out ... randomly, three times out of 50 tries, i was able to get back in ...remember, this program is not storing its password in the login keychain ... i was able to download the data during one of these episodes ..and rebuild teh 1Passowrd database ...
    So i am up and running file .... but really dont understand what is going on with these keychains ... it is like an incorrect pass is being cached somewhere, or there are two kecychains and most of the imte a PATH statment takes me to one that doesnt work but occassionaly, i get to one that works ...I want to get to the bottom of this .. as i really cant afford to have this happen again ...
    I would appreciate any help you may have .... i do have all this backed to TimeMachine ... and thought about just restoring the login keychain to prior when all the problmes stated ... but fear i could really get into trouble restoring the login keychain ....

  • Webcam is showing "not working"

    After upgrading to Windows 10 my webcam is showing not plugging to any webcam and 260ci WIA Driver (USB) is showing exclamation mark on it and written that "device is not working (error 10)..please recover this.. 

    It is under warranty.  Apple will fix it or replace it.  Make an appointment to visit and Apple store.
