Season Pass not working right - House

This is the first time I've bought a season pass. I bought it between new episodes so it's the first time I've wanted to download a new episode with my season pass (season 3 of House).
The season finale aired on Tuesday night. The FAQs say that the episode should be available for download the following morning (Wednesday). It's now Thursday and still not showing up as being avaialable for download.
I paid for a season pass and it means I can't watch the latest episodes until how long after they've aired? It's not worth it if I can't get it after it's aired. Now that I'm caught up, I'll record it on my DVR and watch it as soon as it's over if I can't get it from iTunes in a timely manner.
What's the point of paying forty bucks for something if I can't watch it after everyone's seen it on TV and are ruining the ending for me by talking about it before I can see it with this thing?

So how do you reach them to complain? There are about 30 rants on the ITunes Mad Men reviews page, but that's to rate the show; I doubt the ITunes technicians (if any) read them. I've been back and forth with ITunes help and can't find any email address or phone number. And the page for Apple Help -- "Ask an expert!" -- specifically says the ITunes store isn't covered. Is this the perfect scam? They take our money, tell us all sales are final, and then make themselves unreachable.

    My questions: Who is making up these changes at Apple iTunes?  Why is the goal now to make customer lives harder?

  • Season Pass Not Working

    I have been trying all day to download the latest episode of Bones to which I bought a multi-pass, can't get it through the 'Check for Purchases', can't get by clicking on the 'Click Here' in either the email or on the show page on iTunes. I am running the latest version of everything.... I have had about 5 emails to the support staff in the past week over this kind of thing (disappearing music, friends who can't download gifts, etc) and wonder if it's the new version, the expansion into movies... what the heck? I fondly recall the good old days when shows did indeed appear the day after they aired, it was easy to download... but now... oy!
    Anyway... any other ideas? I know the kids at Apple are swamped, thought I might have missed something!

Although I'm sorry to hear that the "Season Pass" idea is sucking hard core, at least you folks saved me from buying one for NBC's "Heroes". I've already d/l'd the first few ep's, and I was curious about the seemingly non-incremental sticker price.
    As an addition to your woes already voiced, apparently iTunes 7, for all it's slickness, doesn't behave as expected when you already own ep's included in a "Season Pass" offering. One would expect that the iTunes Store would knock off the price of the ep's you've already d/l'd, but no such luck.
    I would have thought that a fairly obvious application error. Since iTunes is already tracking your library and purchasing habits...
    BTW, the "Season Pass" help page is back... But it's not very helpful... Isn't there any good online or real-people support for iTunes and the store?

  • Season pass not working for Game of Thrones Season 4

    I purchased the season pass for season 4 of Game of Thrones, but all I am getting is the behind the scenes videos but no episodes.  This is the only show for which I am having this trouble. I have tried using both the MacBook Pro and the Apple TV devices with no joy. Is there an issue with this program or are the episodes simply not yet released?

    Not sure which country you are in but I purchased the Season some months ago in the UK and have viewed all episodes.

  • Apple TV Season Pass not working.

    I got a new Apple TV 3 a couple of weeks ago. I purchased the season pass of Pawn Stars Season 6. The two episodes that aired last week showed up on the listing  the day after they aired I was able to watch them just fine. The two episodes that aired this past Monday showed up on my Apple TV listing on Tuesday but it still only has a preview and purchase options and there is no play option.  I only view the TV show on the Apple TV and no other device.
    Can anyone tell me what is going on or how to correct it?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
    Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will need to click the large ‘Report A Problem’ button under the list of previous purchases in order to reveal the ‘Report A Problem’ link for your recent purchase. If your purchase is listed as a previous purchase use the small arrow on the left side of its listing.
    Alternatively you can use the receipt email to report a problem.

  • Season Pass not working (Cedar Cove Season 2 HD)

    Does anyone know how to reach a real person at Apple? I have reported a problem with my season pass and sent an email to iTunes support and all I have gotten back were basically Google searches and an apology. I bought a season pass to Cedar Cove season 2 in HD before the show started. Hallmark has posted the first episode both in HD and SD (I checked on a friends account) but I didn't receive a notification to download the episode. When I look in purchases I see the season pass but it only shows the featurette is in my account yet, no episodes. Strangely iTunes shows a different price for SD and HD season passes but the first episode is only $1.99 for either SD or HD. All of my other shows are $2.99 for HD and $1.99 for SD. Which makes me think Hallmark made a mistake when they posted the season.
    I have explained several times that I can find the show on iTunes but that it is asking to me to pay. I have even gone so far as to find the ID for that episode and send that to Apple. But the representative fails to read or understand the inquiry and just tells me how to download the featurette. And there doesn't seem to be a way to communicate frustration with Apple's "world class customer care". If it wasn't for the fact that none of Apple's competitors are doing any better I would look at going another route. Has anyone else had problems with this season pass? Or has anyone else found a way to cut through the bureaucracy and actually get some answers from Apple?

    I have an HP Elitebook 8760W.  I cannot get Simplepass or Windows Hello to recognize my Validity VFM-471 fingerprint reader.  I'm not sure I have the right driver installed for the Validity hardware.  Could someone please point me to a link for the proper Win 8.1 driver?   I'm trying to make this work on Windows Pro 64 Bit.   I have tried everything to make this work.  Both Simplepass and Window Hello recognize the fingerprint read while I'm setting it up, but when rebooting and trying to log in with the fingerprint function - it doesn't act like it is even working.  I've tried all of the suggestions on the instructions to no avail.  The Laptop works just fine without the fingerprint scanner, and I guess I can live without it, but I've been used to using it on Windows 7 for so long, I'd like to have it working agian.  Any suggestions or hellp would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    I've had my FIOS about 2 months, put new batteries in remote and it is still not working right.  Some things work fine.  Other things stopped working - can't delete a DVR show, can't change channels with one digit, but it will if I add all 4 digits, info box on bottom of screen never disappears (unless I hit exit).  What's wrong?
    My second TV set-up is OK.

    Might not even be a remote issue. Have you tried rebooting the box?
    If you do think it's the remote it's still under warranty.
    You can get a free replacement easy within the dvr's menu.
    Here is a page that tells you ways to get a replacement.

    Get a new remote and if you still have the same issues then you'll know its the dvr that needs to be replaced.

    You cannot reinstall iOS without doing a restore. But you might first try a software update. If you have iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1, you can update to iOS 5.1 by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

  • IPad 2 was updated to latest iOS 7 and has been not working right since. I have tried to do a restore but still continues to go into reboot mode by itself and very erratic. Can no longer trust it. I tried to complain to Apple but have to give them 20 buck

    iPad has not worked right since it updated to latest software. Tried to question Apple about it but it costs 20 bucks just to lodge a complaint. Is this normal Apple behavior or am I missing something. Also anyone else having issues with upgrade to iOS7. It was working great until that point and now goes into reboot mode often and sometimes will continuously reboot several times. I have tried to restore but that didn't clear the problem. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

    I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
    At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
    The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
    I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
    You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

    You can always try to reset your device and see if it helps matters any:
    Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
    1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
    2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
    3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

    Has the unit EVER been jailbroke?
    If "No," first try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
    At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
    If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again.  Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

    My keyboard is not working right. If I push the key it wont work,but if I hold the key for a couple seconds then it works was told to replace the keyboard and I did with a new one.     It's the Quick Selection Tool in Photoshop Elements 9 and I'm trying to get the background and make it another layer so I can even out the color of the background then bring down the transparency.  Not sure if that makes sense.  I'm new to this....  Sometimes the area it will grab can go ...not fast.. but not slow.  Sometimes it's like it's just messed up and literally takes 30 seconds to process each move.  I rebooted my computer and re opened it and it helped a little.  It's not clear what causes it when it messes up and when it doesn't.  Just frustrating.  It's probably user error because I'm so new at Photoshop.   Thanks for your input.   I really appreciate it.

    The scroll-bar is STILL NOT working right in the 10.6.1 update.  I am not able to click anywhere on the scroll-bar and have the navigation go there.  I have to drag the blamed thing where ever I want it to go.  This problem only exist with the recent iTunes 10.6.x updates. 

    I have the new MacBook Pro 2010, Dell 3007WFP. No mirroring problemsat that or higher res. I was chagrined, however, to find out that while my 2007 15" MacBook Pro had no problems driving the Dell 30", the 2010 17" requires the Dual Link cable for $100 extra. ;>(
