SEC-10012 when Installing the Demo
Hi all,
Oracle 11g R2 on RHEL 5
I'm trying to install the Oracle Warehouse Builder Demonstration.
I downloaded the demonstration zip file then edited the owbdemoinit.tcl
I executed the Tcl scripts from the Warehouse Builder scripting utility, OMB Plus and
got the error as show in the following:
[oracle@srv100 unix]$ ./OMBPlus.sh

SEC-10012: Only administrator can register User or create Role.When I logged on in Design Center, I didn't see the connections: OWB_REPOSITORY and SALES_WH_LOCATION but I only saw OWB_DEMO project.

Something is wrong when installing the demo database schema.While executing cwm2_olap_metadata_refresh.mr_refresh at last ,system hint that cwm2_olap_metadata_refresh.mr_refresh must be declared.That means there is not cwm2_olap_metadata_refresh.
Why and What should I do ?

I receive a massage that a new version of ITunes was available (11.1.4). I proceeded to update, the download went ok but when installing the Message “Service ’Apple Mobile Device’ failed to start, verify that you have sufficient Privileges to start system Services”
On pressing retry I got the same message.
On pressing Ignore, I got the message “ITunes was not installed correctly, please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)
I reinstalled with the same error messages and the same results.
I uninstalled existing and reinstalled from scratch and the same error messages again.
I try to repair and at the end it said it had installed correctly – but when it tried to start I got the message “This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem” I now get the same message when I first start the computer but when I press ok I receive ““ITunes was not installed correctly; please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)” again.
It appears the update has not only corrupted the operating system (Xp Pro SP3) of my computer but I have no backups to my IPhone, my wife’s IPhone or the three others phones that use my computer.

Yours sincerely! I just bought a Sony DCR-SD1000 camera only when installing the cd drivers not supported by the operating system Machintosh. I've contacted the seller said the store did not provide for the apple os. How can I move all the files on the camera the port out is to use a USB data cable to a laptop for my macbookpro can not read the contents of the file and the camera. I also want to use the lens on the camera as a substitute for the embedded camera on my macbookpro, what should I do to replace the embedded camera on macbookpro with sony camera so that the camera could be more variety and can I record when I turned macbookpro . Please help for this so that I can quickly capture the results from sony camera to my macbookpro. Thank you.

Error when installing the Integration Kit for SAP
Hello,
When installing the integration Kit I get the following error:
The installation of BO XI Integration for SAP Solutions cannot continue because WACS has been installed with BO Enterprise.
i have seen in BO-SAp Integration Kit Installation Error that I have to had selected the point Install Tomcat application server option, but I was not asked to.
I'm following the blog BusinessObjects and SAP - Part 1 of 4, and my installation screens are similar but not equal. for example, I fon't have the installation type new, but the quickk type. And I cannot select the database, too.
Of course the screen asking about the Web Application server with the option of installing the tomcat application server doesn't appear.
What have I done wrong?
What is the solution? Reinstalling everything but doing what?

Yes, it is BO Edge.
I have deinstalled the BO Edge sw and now I have installed it again. This time I have selected the export installation type and I have select the TOMCAT. The installation has finished successfully, but when installing the SAP integration Kit, I have the same problem. The message about the WACS already installed appears again.
What else can I do?

If you are linux-unix level you are making installation wiht same user of Oracle Db11g? Did you try to create new Oracle_home and set it before start installation?

Recently upgraded to SP1 of CR2008
When installing the latest version of our software, which has the CrRuntTime_12_1.msm integrated into the installation, onto an XP sp2 machine, many of the DLL's failed to install with:
'Failed to register c:\program files\business objects\businessobjects enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\cereportsource.dll
and many more
We had to download the runtime installer and run that for it to work (suppose we could have manually regsvr32'd many of them)
Is this going to keep happening with our other clients ?

When installing the new iTunes software, the message : "the older version of apple software update cannot be removed." What should I do? I tried deleting files related through control panel or the manual way, but it doesn't work. Am I missing something?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

You could format that HDD as Fat32/MS-DOS, but you'd be limited to 4 GB Filesizes.
