SECAM help, need to know how to make a secam project

I Need to make a DVD that can be played in France. I understand that the standard in France is SECAM. I can't find a preset when making a project for SECAM or info on the web about what resolution to make if I were to create a custom preset.

This is true. I have shot in NTSC and had to send a PAL version of the final video over to Europe, so I edited in NTSC and converted it to PAL in Encore. Worked fine, from what the client told me, although I never got to see the final PAL version since we don't have a PAL compatible DVD player in the office. So I couldn't tell you if there were any problems I may have noticed that the client might have shrugged off (like field-dominance problems).

I wouldn't take the original post too seriously - I may of course be naive but it sounds like it could be a troll to me!

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
A folder window will open. Inside it there should be files with names as follows:
          Envelope Index
          ExternalUpdates.storedata
Move those files to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have longer names that begin as above. Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is damaged and that Mail has to quit. Click OK. Typically, the process takes a few minutes, but it may take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In that case, you may be able to speed things up by temporarily adding your home folder to the Privacy list in the Spotlight preference pane. Remove it when Mail has finished importing.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

I am 12 years old and i need to know how to make a game... i'm very good with computers and i just need to know how to make a game.. like runescape.

you should start with something little, first try do make a rectangle on screen, then try to make it move.
if you're past that, then you're allmost there.
of course, eventually during making a game like runescape you would need lot's of knowledge about data structures and matm and physics and whatever is also needed in order to cread 3D universe.
but with little practice you get to be master.

The Greatful Dead has always reserved "front row center" for a group affectionately called "tapers," because they always came prepared to record each show, and owing to the fact that no two shows were the same, some of those tapes are one of a kind..... You can use Smart brush. From tools panel on the left, select Smart brush tool and select Black & White category and select any effect which you wish and start painting over the area to be changed to B/W.To edit your adjustments, you can select Detailed smart brush if you feel more comfortable in using brush than Quick selection tool.

I cannot get my contacts to appear on my PC so I can make a copy.I am due to recive a new company phone today and I do not want to lose my contacts.I am unsure of what type phone my next one will be.But I do know that I will be with Verizon Wireless.Is there a way to get my contacts over to the new phone even though it is with Verizon.If not I need to copy them as not to lose them.i am giving my iPhone to my son and staying with AT&T as well as having my company phone.Any help will be much appreciated...

Haven't you been regularly syncing your phone with iTunes. If so, your contacts should already be on your computer in Outlook.
If you have not done this, you will need to create a dummy contact in Outlook and then sync the phone so the two contact lists will be merged.

I just need to know how to make a multi page document from scans! :(

I have 4 scanned, pre-cropped pages from a recent graduation ceremony ready to go. Acobat will let me scan them in but makes them 4 separate PDF documents. Once I go into any of those I can see no way to add pages or combine the 4 PDFs into one big four page PDF. I searched these forums... but all the questions I have found have been from more experienced users asking more advanced questions.

Well actually my adobe reader gave me the option File>Create Adobe PDF Using Acrobat.com but the website doesn't seem to allow for anything other than the most basic PDF construction/conversion unless you upgrade to Acrobat.com Premium. It will be cheaper in the long run for me to just buy the standalone version of Acrobat since I don't need the features like Shared Workspace, etc. But yeah, I follwed a link from reader and that's how I got this far.

How do I set it up to remember my passwords on certain sites if I said no by accident? the tab only allows me to adjust the ones saved. I need to know how to make them if I didn't do so the first time

I accidently did not save the passwords to some sites I would like to have the password remembered. I went in to try to maybe reset it so that the pop up window would come up again. but it won't let me do it again. How do I get the password to be remembered so I can stay logged in to the specific sites I want to be. I sure hope that made sense.

Also, please try deleting the sites in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Options''' > '''Security''' > '''Exceptions...''' (under '''Passwords'''). The sites listed there are those for which Firefox will never remember passwords.

It's possible. Just create a second target of the appropriate type and then change the "Base SDK" build setting. Then make sure to add all the necessary files. If you want to build both at the same time, create an aggregate target. So my mean you have to maintain two targets one for iPhone / iPad and Mac also....... May be it helpful to you......
