Second copy is not Printing in SAP B1 2007 B

Dear Experts
In 2005 b i am able to print two copies of incoming payments in PLD
for eg : one copy for Customer and Second copy for Office
But in 2007 B , i am not able to view and print the second page. none of the error showing while taking the print preview, and i can take only one page. I did the complete set up in pld paper format and also in print preference . still in 2007 b , its not working.
Can any body help me to solve this issue

Template may be corrupted after upgrading to 2007B.
Raise a support ticket to SAP in service market place.

I need to print the first page and the second page should not print. But i need seperate spool request for 2nd page. whenever the user wants second page at that time he use the 2nd page spool number to take the print.

Hmmm if i knew your exact requirement i would be able to propose something better i guess, since this seems a little weird to be honest.
E.G. having a own output type for your page 2.
Anyway, returning to what you asked. You opened your form using FM OPEN_FORM. and when you are ready you use CLOSE_FORM to close it again.
You could make use of END_FORM followed by START_FORM when page 2 is to be printed.
This will give you page 1 and page in seperate spools.
you could as well close your form and open it again with ITCPO-TDNEWID = 'X' inmstead of using end_form and start_form.
But still i highly doubt that complete scenario.

SmartForm Text not printing from SAP printer but prints on LOCL

I have a smartform that looks great on the screen and if i print locally ( default printer). When i print it on an SAP printer the text is not readable. It looks like barcodes or that the text is stretched about 1 inch high. The data that doesnt print is only in the table sections. if i increase the font size to 10.0 it prints but is too large for the form. Any suggestions? I could send a PDF of the document if you wish.

What is the printer model and what devce type is defined in the output device for the SAP printer? Perhaps the device type used doesn't support the font size. Check via SE73 -> Printer Fonts -> < Device type>.

C4280 will copy but not print.

I have a C4280 which has suddenly decided not to print. Oddly, it will copy just fine. The document appears to be stuck in the print queue with a printer error message ("Status: printer error"). I have tried resetting the printer (power off, unplug overnight, reconnect, reboot computer), removing, cleaning and reinstalling the ink cartridges, deleting and reinstalling the printer and nothing changes. I have paused, restarted, deleted, re-sent, etc. the document(s) and I still can't print. My OS is Windows 7.

Okay, I'm replying to my own question. How this happened I don't know, but the port for the printer got reset (uses of the passive voice, aha) to the Microsoft XPS document writer port. I reset it to USB and now everything's fine. Well, except for the fact that when connected to my desktop computer (I'm using a laptop now), it reinstalls itself every time I boot up the computer. At one point I discovered I had 16 copies of the printer. It still worked somehow. (That system OS is XP Pro.) Any light anyone could shed on that issue would be appreciated.

I open Firefox. It tries to install an update. Updating fails and I get a message" "Another copy of Firefox must be open. Close it. " A second copy is not open a far as I'm concerned. I have to refuse the update in order to use Firefox.

I don't know what more I can tell you except that I have to refuse an update in order to use Firefox.

Take care if you update by the last resort method mentioned in the linked article, if you delete settings it will remove all bookmarks etc from all versions of firefox

Cheque Printing in SAP B1 2007

Hello Experts,
I wanted to know is there any separate program or add on used for printing cheque in SAP2007B1.??

Open Banking ->Outgoing Payments -> Checks for Payment Screen.
Click on the PLD icon on the Menu Bar and create a new Print Layout as per your Bank Cheque Format.

User not able to print from SAP

Hi guys,
User is not able to print from SAP. The printer is directly connected to his PC. It is not a network printer. The user is able to print at OS level perfectly. IN SP01, it shows in green and the print job has been completed successfully. I can see the output request. Its all fine in SAP. I am not sure why it is not printing from SAP. Please help ?

did you already defined your printer on SAP Server using tcode SPAD ?
What kind of printing you're using ?
My suggest for simplest one is create new output devices.
Type tcode SPAD
Give simple name
Choose SAPWIN for device type (if you're using WIndows clients)
On Access Method tab
Choose Host Spool Access Method F : Front end Printing or G :
For Host Printer fill with __DEFAULT (remember double underscore)
save and test it.

Fillable form will not print the second page

I have created a fillable two-page Acrobat form using Adobe InDesign. Everything appears to be okay with the form, except that the second page does not print. The first page prints okay, but the second page exits as a blank page without content from the form or the user-entered data.

The only PDF Plugin that works is PDFBrowser Plugin by Schubert of Germany, and it appears he has discontined updating although Thankfully It works in OSX.8 with most mdern Updates. You can Only fill out forms by opening Chrome, iCab , and OperaNext only Safari doesn't work and any product using the Gecko Rendering engine (Mozilla Products , FireFox and SeaMonkey Form Fields don't work or crash the browser. (depending upon version of the pdfBrowser Plugin).

Changing header text in each copy while form Printing

I have modified the ARE1 script form. The requirement is , the form is printed with 6 copies by default.
If the number of copies of sap script is 6, then in first copy it should print ORIGINAL in the sap script. When the second copy is getting printed, it should print DUPLICATE in the sap script. When it is third copy to be printed, it should print TRIPLICATE in the sap script-------in the sixth copy as SIXTUPLICATE.

Please try to use the pagenumber in smartform for this . If the SFSY-PAGES is two hardcode the text like DUPLICATE,if three TRIPLICATE.
Please do the hardcode at end of page only...

Have Photosmart Premium All-in-one, model c309a. Will not print a test page as the default printer.

Have gone through all diagnostics offered online by HP, but to no avail. Am hooked up wirelessly and all connections say OK. The print queue just keeps building up until i clear it. Have checked ink cartridges, power reset procedure and also the Embedded Web server, print driver and port,verified that is not paused or offline, restarted the print spooler, checked the software program and removed and reinstalled the HP software. It just will not print. Will copy but not print. Help!!

I have exactly the same problem here.
The printer is connected wirelessly to my router, which is connected with cable to my WinXP computer.
I can see the web server, all pages report everything is normal and ready.
I can ping from my computer to the printer.
I had no success getting the HP software on the CD to install, but the ~ 200 MB download version installed at least. However when the software probes to see what printers are available, it just doesn't see the printer (even though I can access its web server).
I finally got my wife's computer (Win 7 64 bit) to connect, but don't know exactly what I did to make that happen.
I noted that HP has a new version of firmware for the printer, so that will be tomorrow's project.

HP 5520 all-in-one will not print alignment page

Printer printed page as if there was no black ink. Replaced cartridge and tried to align but would not print a proper alignment page. Replaced all cartridges.Page it prints is not recognized in scan. I have tried everything. UnPlugging, reload paper, new driver, new install, I need to print tax info and the **bleep** thing will not align, will not copy, will not print. Help

Hi All,
when you check make second copy when importing files lightroom stores a copy of the files in a location of your choosing, when you make changes or add metadata to the primary file does lightroom add the changes to your backup copy?

No. It is a once off copy of the imported files. The second copy is not associated with the catalog at all.

The HP Deskjet 1050 All In One can perform multiple copies at a time. To perform a multiple copy, press the Copy Black or Copy Color button as many times as the copy is required. A maximum of 10 copies can be performed at a time.

If the issue persists then, please perform the steps as shown below and check the copying function again.
Steps to perform a reset.
Press the Power button ( ) to turn off the product.
NOTE: The product might not turn off after pressing the Power button. Continue to the next step regardless.
Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Wait 30 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
Press the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
Connect the unit directly to a wall outlet.
Check the copying function now.

Also, do you have any issues making a copy?
