Second DC doesn`t take over the control, outlooks started to ask password.

Hi All,
-I had Windows 2012 Server as DC.
-I have installed 2012 R2 as second DC
-I`ve AD integrated DNS
-Both DCs are DNS
-When I click "Operations masters" I see only PDC in both section.
The problem is that when I turned off the PDC yesterday, the new one didn`t take over. The Outlooks were giving authentication errors.
When I click change DC to transfer roles, it showing version as "unknown" for new server with R2. I didn`t try to transfer but it may fail, too.

Thank you for the answer, I changed the primary DNS to themselves even though it stated it should be other server on most of the forums and blogs!!!. DCDIAG result showed below error. I realized that there is single entry on DNS on both servers other
Domain.loc\_msdcs with win-m8rqcvgm1th.mydomain.loc., I removed that and both server passed the test. I`ll test if it is successful. But nslookup still shows Default Server: UnKnown / Address: 192.168.144.4
TEST: Delegations (Del)
Error: DNS server: win-m8rqcvgm1th.mydomain.loc.
IP:<Unavailable> [Missing glue A record]

When using an Apple TV, any new device that logs on immediately takes over the display. Is there any way to prevent this and maintain the control from a designated device?

I would like to designate a single device to control the Apple TV, but anytime another device enters and logs on it takes over the display and whatever is on that screne appears. Is there a way to set the Apple TV so this does not happen?

Have you tried the Remote app on iPhone/iPad to control AppleTV, do searches etc? Should be easier than the remote alone and this does not involve Airplay.
Please note, only users read/comment here - your idea is quite sensible in my view (maybe have a 'Continue viewing on AppleTV' option or something. I doubt this would be high on Apple's roadmap but send them feedback here:

Firefox has a million pop ups and takes over the page im looking at

When im doing anything with firefox (ex search, reading a page, watching movie) i will get a million pop ups. some are there own pages in the background and most will open in new tab on page. it will take over the page im on and i will be stuck closing everything out to my desk top and re opening a page. i have the pop up blocker on but doesn't do anything.I am using a mac. the browser is pretty much useless at this point and this is the longest i have been on a page in weeks.

I presume you are runnning iTunes on either an OS X 10.7 or OS X 10.8 system. Move the cursor to the very top of the screen so that the menu bar appears, then click the blue box with the arrows at the very right corner of the menu bar, or press Shift-Command-F. That will switch iTunes back to a normal window, which it should then remember for future launches.

Can you please expand on your issue? As far as I can see all the previous functions of 11 are in 12 albeit shown differently. Using get info to edit date is still possible, again it looks and feels different.

I'm doing a internship in a production line.
My job is to recover production data (input data) and test data (output data) using various types of software (excel, BusinessObject sap, etc).
To this day, I have recovered hundreds of production data, and have also organized in excel but I need to analyze and plot them.
I would like to know who can give me an idea of how I could plot as much data and analysis.
Now i trying to use dynamic charts and plot some data but I did not get acceptable answers.
How could I compare, analyze and graph for example:
Five columns of production (input) with five (5) columns tested (data output).
After graphing.
Someone can give me a technique to analyze data? ie I compare column by column?
or some other technique? as a conglomerate could analyze data?
o give you an idea of the contect, now I perform an internship in a manufacturing turbines.
My job is to analyze the input data (production) and to estimate the possible behavior of the turbines in the tests.
As I said, use dynamic tables in excel, but i have not idea why the dynamic tables doesn't take all the data from the source table.

JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 takes over 45 minutes to start

I have windows 7 64 bit with 64 bit JDK 1.7. My jDeveloper 11.1.1.7 takes over 45 minutes to start, even the previous versions took similar long time. I have McAfee running on my system and have 8 GB RAM and more than 100 GB HDD on my C drive. I tried playing with the tuning parameters as mentioned in few blogs, but nothing seems to help.
Please help.

Indeed, McAfee caches what it has previously scanned. I've had different versions of McAfee where this has been, and hasen't been a problem.
It's pretty easy to tell on Windows if McAfee is the culprit. Open the Task Manager and watch is McAfee active (consuming CPU) during the whole process of opening JDev.
If so you're going to have to work with your IT department to get exemptions for JDev put in place if it is.
