Second page + prints as thumbnail

Adobe Reader 8.2.2 prints thumbnails of pages 2-end for some pdf attachments received in email or posted to websites. It isn't every pdf, only some. The first page always prints fine, but subsequent pages print a small rectangle (approx. 1" by .75") thumbnail in the upper left corner of the page instead of the full page view. We have reinstalled Reader, printing to Canon ImageRunner copier. Help, Thanks!.

Hey Tom - sorry I failed to mention I did try powering off and on, and then the reset as you suggested. It still does the same thing.

Using pages to create a two-sided brochure and second page prints upside down!

When using a pages template to create a two-sided brochure, the second page needs to be reversed (upside down) for correct printing when emailing to an outside printer sources. How do I reverse the page within the pages app?

IF you are using a printer with 2-sided printing, in the expanded print dialog you will have a selection for long-edge binding OR short-edge binding. Whichever setting you have set, switch to the other one.

I have a LaserJet Pro P1606dn - the second page prints upside down when using the duplex print optio

Operating system Windows 7 32 bit. I have re-installed the printer an I have downloaded and applied the most recent drivers from the HP site. The built in set-up shows the settings correctly as duplex on and bind on the long edge but the second page continues to print upside down i.e. it seems to always print as binding on the top edge.
However when I print from my iPad via Airprint the duplex print works perfectly!

Adobe Form's First Page printing perfectly on 132 column sheet but further pages prints with small font size

Dear All,
We are facing a strange behavior of adobe form.
we made form for SAP CRM which is printing in 132 column(28cm * 33cm) sheet. what we are observing is, first page is printing perfectly on the pre printed Invoice sheet but if invoice has more items to be displayed then second page prints with small font size or you can say second page seems to be zoomed out to smaller page size. In Preview Second page onwards also looks perfect. Now we are in a fix what to do to come out of this issue.
efforts made:-
Adobe Page Size Adjusted.
Select paper Source by Page Size ticked in Adobe form properties
But still result is non satisfactory. Please Help.

a) The size of the pages of PDF which you are printing. LETTER
b) Does all pages of the PDF are of same size? YES
c) What is the page size set in the Printer and what is the actual size of the paper which you have put in the tray? LETTER
d) Does this problem also happens on the virtual printer which you might have on your system (Try either Microsoft MPS Document writer or Adobe PDF Printer) No VIRTUAL PRINTERS

Unable to print the report in second page

Hi,
I've got a problem in the report. Here In a report, I'm able to print the report's data in the first page only. I'm unable to print it in the second page,third page etc.
To rectify the problem, I've selected all the fields and set their property "Print Object on" to All pages. Still the problem exists.

What exactly do you mean by 'unable' ? Do you only get a 1 page report, OR do you get multiple pages with the 2nd, 3rd blank OR do the 2nd, 3rd have text but not data OR something else?
"Print Object On" should be "First Page" - it sounds wrong but it's talking about logical pages (which may be multiple physical pages).

How to print second page as continuation of First Page.

Hi,
If the text doesn't fit in page, the it will be printed in the next page.
If it is one line or two line by increasing the length of the window, you can accomodate.But if it more than than then its not possible to print in the same page.
If you dont want to get the text truncated then just use PROTECT and ENDPROTECT command in order to protect the text.
Then the whole text will be printed either in First Page or Second page depending on the amout of text.

Print Second page in SAP script

I want to print second page in my sapscript.first page has Header,MAIN,footer windows. Second page has only one window where i need to print some terms and conditions those are hard coded in script.

Create a new page as second page....
Assign the second page as the next page to the first page... select print only when main window finishes...
It will automatically print the second page...

Issue in printing second page in smart form

in my smart form i have only FIRST page in tht i have pur order numberwindow, date window and all the item details in mainwindow. my problem is in my page 1 order number and date are getting printed at the exact position whre i want but when it is coming to the next page that is page 2 order number and date are going out of scope. I cant even change the position of those two windows as it is getting printed properly on 1st page.

Copy the first page and paste so as to create a second page, now give next page as this second page, and check, if there is any layout issue then make changes in this page, be careful as if you make any any changes, such as deleting some table or template or window in the copied [page it will get deleted in first page to, so only make changes to layout.

Print the the data in the second page

Hi.
In my report I have two repeating frames. I my layout editior i have the first one and then the second one. I want to print the second repeating frame from the first line of the second page onwards. I tried the properties of the repeating frame (page break before) and that works but it doesn't print from the begining of the page.
How to print it from the begining. Any Suggestions.

Sorry, I assumed they were one above the other. If they are nested, then I see two possibilities ...
1. the first repeating frame doesn't normally appear at the top of the page either. in this case, you need to anchor that frame to a frame for all the objects above it so it will move up.
2. the space for the objects inside the first repeating frame is being reserved on subsequent pages. in this case, create a new frame around all the objects inside the first frame that are above the second frame. then anchor the second frame to that new one. alternatively, you could probably set the new frames vertically elasticity to variable.

First group of the first sub report begins to be printed on the second page.

ReportProperties -> Respect Keep Group Together On First Page
Group Options -> Keep Group Together
Section expert - all sections of the report and sub reports -> Keep Group Together
Is there any other thing I missed that will determine Crystal Reports to begin printing the first group on the second page?

Right click sub report in the main report. In format subreport uncheck Keep Together.

How to print main window data in second page without header

hi friends.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I am printing billing docu details in main window ,the data is coming in two pages but there is problem in printing as the tables is continuing in second page the line is not coming for the table for first row,space is also coming for second page for header .
my issue is to remove space before printing table and line should come for the table for 1st row in second page.
please help .

Hi Raghukumar,
1. For the line not coming on the top row of the second page, check if the rowtype u have used in the table has been given a border on the upper side.
2.For the space issue in the second page, I assume you might have used only a single Page in your smartform and the same page is called again.Hence as per the main window size and length data will be displayed in all pages of the smartform.
You may need to create a second page with the Main window length occupying the compete page so that data display starts from the top of the page. next Page attributes of the smartforms should be entered accordingly.

Problem in Continuous check printing from second page in F-58

Hi ,
I am using T code F-58 to trigger cheques. I have made a Z* of the standard script F110_PRENUM_CHCK as I just require the Payee name, date, amount in digits and amount in words to be printed on the cheque.I am using the continuous stationary for the cheque . I am using EPSONLQ1150II DOT Matrix printer.
The cheque dimensions are ; width:202 MM and Height 94 MM excluding the dots on either side.
I have created a z page format with the same dimensions ,
also created format type with same name and for device type SWIN - Windows printing via SAPlpd
z format is linked.
Also in local system , i defined z page dimensions in server properties
and selected printing preferences as this z page size .
Issue :
When i am trying to take print , check is printing properly in first page for spool 1 .
If again when trying to print 2nd spool , check is not printing properly in second page check.
It is printing 2mm down , for 3 rd page further printing downwards.
As this is pre printed stationary data is not lying correctly from 2 nd page onwards.
kindly give me any suggestions how to rectify this.

Printer initialization : # no action.
End of page is having \f
End of line is having \n
Reset after exit is having # sapwin x_paper
Cover page is : # no title page
all are in green.
Same thing i included for MY z page format . But still it is printing same as mentioned above.
Kindly suggest how to write initialization for z page format for SWIN device type.

Problem in Printing with Second Page

Hi Experts,
I am trying to print a letter which comes in 2-3 pages.I made one smartform for that ,its working fine when i see print preview of output.But when i take printout of that, second page overlaps the first page.This problem is persisting from a very long time but my all efforts went in vein.Kindly suggest where is problem actually lies.

SCRIPT: second page is not print but need spool number

Hi Friends,
I'm creating a script. It has only one page. if the line item is exceeds in main window then it automatically print the next page.
now my requirement isgiven below
I need to print the first page and the second page should not print. But i need seperate spool request for 2nd page. whenever the user wants second page at that time he use the 2nd page spool number to take the print.
is there any solution or alternative method?

Hmmm if i knew your exact requirement i would be able to propose something better i guess, since this seems a little weird to be honest.
E.G. having a own output type for your page 2.
Anyway, returning to what you asked. You opened your form using FM OPEN_FORM. and when you are ready you use CLOSE_FORM to close it again.
You could make use of END_FORM followed by START_FORM when page 2 is to be printed.
This will give you page 1 and page in seperate spools.
you could as well close your form and open it again with ITCPO-TDNEWID = 'X' inmstead of using end_form and start_form.
But still i highly doubt that complete scenario.
