Secondary email accounts on my iCloud account

I have a secondary icloud.com email account associated with my icloud account.  How can I add the secondary account to my iphone and ipad?  My primary email address is not an icloud.com address.

Each iCloud account only has a single iCloud account associated with it.  The additional address(s) are only alias address, and will deliver email to the same inbox.  If you want to add additional alias addresses (up to 3), you can do this as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a.
If you want to add an additional iCloud email account, you will have to add a secondary iCloud account to your devices.  You can do this by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, sign with a different Apple ID to create the account, then turn on Mail.  Be aware that mail in a secondary account will only be fetched on a periodic schedule as push mail is only supported in your primary account.

  • Primary and secondary Email accounts

    Hello,
Is there a way to specify primary and secondary email account ? In case if the primary server is down, the secondary server would be used for sending the notification.
    Thanks.

I am implementing something similar to what you have suggested. I was wondering if there is a way to achieve this by just changing configuration. Looks like it is not possible to configure it and coding it is the only way out.
    Thanks for your inputs :)

  • Why do the emails from my secondary email accounts disppear?

Where do the emails from my secondary AT&T accounts disappear to? I never get to read them on my 1st gen iPad running Apple mail and iOS 5.0.1.

My secondary email accounts work fine. They all deliver email to my PC just dandy. No es problema. Never miss a thing there.
Thus, I reset the secondary accounts' Advanced setting on the iPad's Mail, Calendar, Whatever setting in Settings today so that the secondary accounts would "Never" remove mail from the server. Never. Never, ever. (They were previously set to remain on the server for a week.) They're all still on the server. Ever ding dang durn one. But they're on my iPad for, like, about thirty seconds and, POOF!, they're gone. Ah . . . yeah. Hmm.
I have Inboxes for all accounts; Sent boxes, Drafts boxes, Trash, the whole enchilada. All barren, lifeless, empty (can't you just hear that desolate, hollow wind in the desert sound?). Except for my primary account which is rock steady.
    Whacko.

  • Why is email being sent from my secondary and not from my default account as per my settings - even when I remove the secondary email account?

I have 2 email accounts on my iPhone 4S. My secondary account is a gmail account. My primary account (not gmail) is set as my default account. Why, when I compose a new message in my primary account and then send, the email is issued from from gmail? And then why if I delete/ remove my gmail account from my iPhone and then compose a new message from my primary account (now the only account on my iPhone) it still sends from the gmail account?

No, "My Number" was not listed in my Phone menu, I had to manually type it it.  Is there a way for that number to automatically be listed in that "My Number" spot?  Would that maybe have something to do with my phone number not being listed as an option in the "Send and Receive" spot under messaging???

  • Secondary email accounts accessed via Outlook

Confused about Primary and Secondary accounts. Can I set up on BT.Yahoo a secondary account which I can set in Outlook so I can use it direct from PC without going to webmail?  Have set up one secondary OK, but when using Desktop Help  & I try to do auto-configure into Outlook it says that the account is already in use.
Have spent a lot of time with call centres without much clarity.
    Thank you for any advice.

Is there a specific reason that you need to use Outlook?  If not, try Mozilla Thunderbird (from the same people who make Firefox) as your email client instead - it is much more user friendly and very easy to set up multiple email accounts.  I have five different ones set up on mine.  You can get Thunderbird from here:  http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-GB/thunderbird/

  • I have an IPhone 5 with 2 email accounts and I can't seem to change the sound for my primary account. When I change the sound it is for my secondary email account which I hardly use. How do I change the sound for my primary account?

I have 2 email accounts on an IPhone 5 and can't seem to change the sound for my primary email account.

Try going to Settings>Notifications>Mail, tap your primary account, then tap New Mail Sound and set as desired.

  • Swap primary/secondary email accounts

I lost my husband last year and swapped everything over into my name. Everything else has been changed but his email addy is still the primary and I don't know the password.
Can our emails be swapped around?  I've spent ages looking on the helpsite and have been going round and round in circles on the phone.  Please help.

Hello, Can someone help me with a similar issue please?  I would like to change the primary email (which is never used) with a sub-account email which I use every day.
You could just set the primary account to forward messages the secondary one. Then you would only have to access the primary if you wanted to make changes to your account.
But if there's a compelling reason to delete the primary, ask the mods via the link given above.

  • E5 - Show multiple email accounts on home page

I have 1 x Mail for Exchange email account set up plus 4 other email accounts.
I want all these to show on the home page.
Currently I have the mail for exchange and 1 of my 'other' accounts which I set as the secondary email account in the settings.
Any idea how I can get the other 3 showing in the menu list.
I have got them as icons but this doesn't show/notify when new emails arrive like the MfE and the other email account does.
Any ideas, ?  Thanks in advance.

Me too.  I'm not so bothered about having them all on the home screen, but I would like a notification when new mails arrive to other accounts.
Bit odd that Nokia offers push-email to 10 accounts, but their newest handset will only work with two of them.  Before people make a fuss about that statement, it isn't push-email if you've got to check the account yourself for new mail!
Looking forward to hearing an answer to this, but I can pretty much guarantee mine is the only reply you'll get - it just isn't possible.

  • Droid 3 email accounts

Hi, I just upgraded from Droid 1 to Droid 3. The way email accounts work on D3 is different. On D1, if an email was retrieved by an another external client and deleted from the email server, that email was automatically deleted from D1 on next sync. That worked well for me, since I prefer to control emails from my PC. On D3 the emails stay on the phone, even if they are gone from the email server, and I could not find any settings to change that.
Also, on my secondary gmail account that I set up on D3, some emails seem to be pulled AND DELETED from the server by D3 and some are not deleted. Again, could not find a setting to change this.
If anyone can point me to where I can get info on how the email accounts are supposed to work on D3, I would appreciate it.
Additional info: I have 2 secondary email accounts. One ATT and one gmail, both using POP3

Gave up on trying to make Moto/Blur email stuff work. You can't change any aspect of how email is fetched and handled. It's so bad, it's ridiculous. Thank god for K-9 Mail. As described on Android Market, best email client for Android. You can customize EVERYTHING. I'm email-happy now

  • My windstream email account says the newest version is not supported by my browser.

the older version (2 versions ago) did support the newer version of my secondary email account (business) from windstream.
    That email is: [email protected]
I can read it, but in the old format, which I don't like

  • Secondary email access

I need to be able to set up a second computer with office 365 and would like to be able to access emails associated with my secondary email account. Is it even possible to do this? If not how do I retain this email address so that I can access / send / receive these emails without having to go through my main email?  I would like to use it as a business address. Any help would be greatly appreciated - Im not particularly savy with the ins and outs of setting up email

Hello, I'm not sure I clearly understand your question.Am I correct in understanding you have both  email accounts on your first computer, and would like to have just  your 2nd email account just on your 2nd computer. If that is correct, there is absolutely no problem. Please could you confirm that. RegardsProfessor PhoneI'm not a Telstra employee.  I have been a mobile subscriber since 1963.If my advice has been helpful, a Kudo  "tick"    would be most appreciated. If my advice has solved your problem, please also mark it as a Solution
