Secondary email verification not working, my daughter can no longer FaceTime on her iPod ( it,s in my apple id name but using her email address, I've tried deleting it from my account and re setting it up but it won't. Work sayin "already registered"
As described, I just want to reset everything and start over so she can face time from her iPod to my iPad. She was sent a verify email a couple of months back and didn't respond , that link now isn't working and when I resend a verify request nothing happens. Every time I try to set up the iPod it's saying already registered email

Hi, I need to take my daughter off from our Apple account and set up her own. So, delete her from one account and create her own. Realize I sound imbecilic for not knowing how to do this. Any ideas? Thank you so much. Jules
You don't have to take her off your account exactly: she needs to sign out from your account on her computers and devices. Then she can obtain an Apple ID at http://appleid.apple.com and use it to sign into System Preferences or Settings>iCloud.
However, there are some issue about this. If she has been syncing her calendars and contacts to your account then the data will disappear from her devices, but remain on your account. Individual calendars can be exported as .ics files and reimported into her account, but if she has her contacts mixed up with yours she will have to enter them individually in the new account (or export yours, import them into hers, and delete the ones she doesn't want.
More intractable is the email issue. She cannot move an address from your account to hers, so if she has been using a alias on your account to have her own address she cannot transfer it. She will have to create a new email address. -
I am not receiving mail to one of my email accounts. I can send mail from this account and all other accounts seem to be working.

I did not do my research before changing my Apple ID from an outdated email address to a current one. I just changed and verified and though I was all set. WRONG! Now I cannot sign in to iCloud because it will not let me enter the new Apple ID. I read the 10/30/13 randers4 post to just change your Apple ID back then sign in and change it to the new email address again and then you can sign in, but I cannot change back to the prior email address Apple ID because that is no longer an active email account (or at least not mine). Any thoughts on how to get signed into iCloud when it does not allow me to type in the new Apple ID and the old Apple ID no longer exists.
I see that many people have asked, but no one has come up with a solution that I found.
Thanks for any help!This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

I forgot my security password and didn't set up a rescue email address. I tried calling apple but they tried charging me to reset the questions. Is there an easier and cheaper way to reset them?
Probably not; if you want, you can try using this form, but will likely be told to phone instead.

If you are not getting any sound from the speaker, follow this article.

Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPhone.

Great tip from dorothy. Also, some isp services are more aggressive from others in filtering what they think might be spam. You might check your spam file from a computer, and see if the verification e mails are sitting there. When i wen through the process, the verification e mail came to the new e mail address in under a couple of minutes.

I can no longer send from email from my account and keep getting the message that the connection to the smtp server was lost or the settings are wrong.
I would like to reinstall the account to make sure that the servers settings are correct, but I fear that I might lose years of messages that I have saved in my folder system as well as my address books, hence the question.

OS X Lion secondary click is not working, any help

Are you using an Apple mouse or a 3rd party mouse? Can you enable it in System Preferences > Mouse? Can you Control + click and get the menu like you would when you use secondary click? -
Secondary monitor does not work after OS X install
My secondary monitor does not work well after OS X install. The image on my secondary monitor is different even the screen svaer image is different and the mouse can not be seen.
Try the easy thing first - NVRAM reset:
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
If that does not work, post back with more info, including the version of Mac OS you are running. How is the external monitor connected, did it ever work, and from what OS X to what was the "OS X install" in your title?
