Secondary ID in Seeburger Monitoring

Hi Guys,
For an incoming EDI message, when clicked we have the message id which is a unique number
Followed by that we have anothe tab called secondary id
It has
IN_ORDHDR........000192160200908111010080001
The first part IN_ORDHDR is the message type
20090811 is the date
But i am not able to figure out the relevance of 000192160
Please shed some light on this.

Hi Krish,
YOu can probably ask the EDI trading partner who sent you the EDI document or teh VAN partner if it came via VAN.
The various possibilities are
1) It can be the DUNS identifier of the sender
2) Interchange control number of the EDI document.
Regards,
Ravi

  • How to enable a secondary view on second monitor

both monitors are up  and running.  i'm seeing same info on both screens. cannot figure out how to open secondary view on additional monitor.
    what am i doing wrong?
    thanks

If your monitor is correctly connected to the hardware, then your operating system Win/XP  must see it. But one more step is required: activation!
So here is a small animated GIF describing that action.
    http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1317/activerecran2.gif
If this acyion is working, moving your cursor from 1 display to the other one will work.
You can start LR and click the small icon "2" in the botton left.

  • Enabling alerts for Seeburger Monitor

    Hello,
I would like to know if there is any way to enable alerts for errors in Seeburger Monitor?
There is a checkbox "Enable alerts" in AS2 adapter communication channel,I tried to check it,but it doesn't seem to be working.
Currently,we have to manually monitor Seeburger Workbench by scrolling down the screen having 100s of messages which is not convenient. Can this be automated?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks.

According to this thread: How to generate Alerts for Seeburger Workbench failed messages (and also according to the reference given therein) it is not possible to raise alerts in Seeburger Monitor.

  • Where to find EDI payload?? Seeburger monitor or RWB or SXI_MONITOR?

    Hello Experts,
We're working on an ANSIX12 (AS2)--> XI --> Idoc (R/3) scenario. Everything is working fine. I just want to know where do I need to look to get the source ANSIX12 payload?
As far as I know, there can be 3 places to look for as follows...
Seeburger Message monitor - just has a log of the transaction..not the payload.
XI RWB - Contains the XML version of EDI (BIC mapper had already converted EDI flat file to XML format).
SXMB_MONI - Contains the XML version of EDI (BIC mapper had already converted EDI flat file to XML format).
Where else should I be looking? I'm sure there must be a place to look for the actual raw incoming EDI payload.
Your help is much appreciated. Please advise.
    Thanks
    Karthik

    Hi,
AFAIK we cannot monitor the raw edi data received...in moni...(but not sure about seeburger moni...as you said not...)
if needed we can save the same using BIC parameter ...(saveFile....parameter ..dont remeber exactly the name of the parameter)
check the BIC doc if needed more details...

  • AS2 seeburger monitor

    Hi All,
I have a requirement to create alert in AS2 seeburger adpter.Once the message fail in Seeburger Workbench , need to send some alert mail to the appropriate recipient.
Could it be possible to monitor messages of seeburger in XI (SXMB_MONI or Runtimework bench) means what we monitor in Seeburger work bench, can we monitor same in Xi, in that case we can use XI alerts .
    Please suggest some solution.
    -Rahul

But its possible that few errors at workbench are visible as stucked messages in RWB. From there u may raise the alert.
    Hi Prateek,
What r those few types of error visible in workbench....could you please throw some more light on that.
I am seeking for the solution for alert mechanism in seeburger...... so once the message failed in seeburger it report the error to the some specific recipient.
    Does seeburger provide such facility???
    Any other possible solution??

  • Secondary fullscreen on UHD monitor

    Hello,
I’ve googled for a similar problem but I didn’t find anything.
I have a dual screen configuration (primary is WQHD 2560x1440, secondary is UHD 3840x2160).
When I activate second monitor full screen in Lightroom, the second monitor window does not fills the screen completely:
I’ve tried several combinations, but nothing really works. The only solution seems to deactivate full screen and manually expand the secondary window to screen edges and “simulate” full screen. I never had this problem with my previous configuration (WQHD + WUXGA 1920x1200). Is it related to the quite large secondary screen resolution?
    Thank you!

I finally figured out a solution to my problem. I've just ticked the "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" on the lightroom shortcut. The secondary fullscreen now fills the monitor, the displayed picture is crisp but text is quite small. After one week playing with two screens of different DPIs (normal/high), I can say that Windows is not fully compatible with this kind of setup . I really considering now replacing my WQHD monitor with another UHD monitor to have a full high DPI configuration, which seems to be the only way to benefit a nice scaling and compatibility.

  • The dock appears on the secondary rather than primary monitor

In 10.9.2 my dock has started appearing on my secondary monitor rathern than the primary. I do not know what caused this relocation, but I would like to know how to replace it on the primary screen.

Mavericks has changed how the menubar & Dock work with multiple displays. If you move the cursor to the top or bottom respectively of a display that isn't showing one, it will appear on that display.
If you don't want this, see this article for a way to disable the feature.

  • Clean Seeburger Message Monitor

    Hi all,
I have a lot of old message in Seeburger Message monitor. For instance many "Error on send, will be retried" that have been there since 2012. Can I clean this log?

    Hi,
Seeburger Workbench is an additional layer to monitor message transmission using AS2.
    This can be accessed at:
    http://server:port/seeburger/index.html
    Scenario: From partner ->XI->R/3
In this case, message has to be checked at these levels:
    Seeburger Monitor->RWB Message Monitor->SXI_MONITOR->R/3
    Scenario: R/3 ->XI->To partner
In this case, message has to be checked at these levels:
    R/3 -> SXI_MONITOR -> RWB Message Monitor -> Seeburger Monitor
Hence,in order to have a successful message transmission,a message has to be successful at all these levels.
Kindly let me know if this is fine.
    Thanks.

  • Seeburger Workbench: Recovery Monitor and Archiving

    Hi,
We need to have Recovery Monitor and Archiving enabled in our Seeburger Workbench.
It was there earlier when we were able to recover sent files if the message is failed in Seeburger Monitor.
But when we had Seeburger upgrade from 1.5 to 1.7,these (Recovery Monitor and Archiving ) are not working.
We need to fine out what is missing in this installation.
Can anyone please let me know if I can do something as a developer to enable this or if it has to be done by BASIS team, then can I get the details of steps involved in order to enable this ,as they are not very familiar with seeburger installation.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Shweta

    Hi Prateek,
Thanks a lot for the information.
As I understood, there is nothing that I can do for this.
    Also,we have clustered environment.
Recovery jobs from adapter version 1.5 do not comply with version 1.7. So remove or process all jobs that have been created by 1.5 versions before updating to v1.7.
But if this is not done,is there anything that can be done now to enable this again.
Also, the note says that these bugs are fixed, then why we still have these problems,do we need to install some SPs to fix this?
    Thanks again.

  • How can i use two monitors in my application?

    Hello,
    Background
I have a dual monitor card and two monitors which I want to use in my LabView application. The application gathers data from a complex sensor and calculates a number of results which need to be displayed graphically, this happens every 10 seconds or so. There is an awful lot of graphs which may be needed to be seen at some time but not routinely. The idea is that one monitor will display all the standard routinely displayed things and will not have any user input whilst the second monitor will display a tab control which has all the other graphs pickable.
    Question
What I want to know is how I can programmatically tell labVIEW to put one vi up in one monitor and another vi in the other. I would then have them both maximised (which I know how to do). I would rather have the monitors set up as individual and that way I could keep the windows control bar on one monitor only. Thus one monitor would be a true user interface and the other simply a display.
Basically how do I tell LabVIEW to use one monitor for a specific vi and not the other.
The card I have is a matrox p650. Any comments would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Kevin

    Hallo,
with new version of LV its more easy, but it also hasn't any troubles with LabVIEW 6.x or 7.x.
Especially with Matrox P650 you will get no any problems (we using
exactly this card together with G550 and our application supported
three monitors at the same time.).
I recommend to you following sequence:
    - After installing driver turn on option for supporting different
resoluton on different monitors. As result you will get two absolutely
    separate monitors.
    - In Windows define which one is primary and which one is secondary.
(On primary monitor located taskbar and all messages dialog boxes will
    appear.).
    - Arrange secondary monitor in display properties - where he located (left from primary, or right)
    - In your VI (which must appear on second monitor) use
FrontPanel.PanelBounds Property Node for positioning. You must set four
values for two corners. Easiest way to found right values is following:
read this property node in while loop and put indicator on front panel.
Then run VI, drag front panel onto second monitor and resize if
necessary, and then you will see right values for PanelBounds. You can
write this property node programmatically in run-time too.
    hope it help,
    good luck.

  • How can I select the secondary display in a multiple display setup?

I am using a 2012 Mac mini with Thunderbolt and HDMI video outputs to run the multimedia display at our church.  The Thunderbolt port drives a Dell Monitor acting as our primary display.  The HDMI output is set as the secondary display and goes into a splitter so the signal can go either to a small TV beside us in the balcony or into an HDMI selector which then feeds into another splitter which delivers signal to both a 80" TV on the balcony wall and to a Peerless HD flow which transmits the signal to TVs up front.  The issue is the mac will register three possible options for the secondary display (the small monitor TV, the Sharp TV on the back wall, or the HD flow system).  I need it to consistently select one of these, preferably the HD flow system, since that will become bogged down with resolutions higher than 720 p.  Can anyone lend me some advice?  I've included a simple diagram of the situation.  Thanks!

Thanks.  Bummer about the image.  It really helps make sense of the layout. I can see it, but that doesn't really help anyone else    Do you know if the mac "remembers" the last used display and selects that one or what would be the parameters in selecting which display it actually settles on among the choices?  Is the first to 'wake' or the last?  We have changed the startup sequence and can't seem to get consistent results.

  • Dual Monitors Windows 7 Problems

Ok, this problem is getting really annoying and I think its a problem with windows 7 itself and not my computer.
Basically I have a dual monitor setup with the left hand monitor as my secondary and right hand monitor as my primary.  Whenever I have an application with any graphics on it at all such as a progress bar on my left hand monitor moving windows around becomes laggy and juddery, yet this doesn't happen when the graphical app is on my primary monitor!

    Updating to latest drivers
Upgraded system memory from 2GB to 4GB
    Installing 64-bit version
removing sound card and re-installing windows from scratch
    upgraded my PSU
    Thanks for your help!

(Latest update) This is the best I can do to alleviate the problem, and does reduce its severity immensely, but I found myself still noticing some slight playback glitches in videos on my second monitor which probably also translate to anything else with movement. I have tested with a panning scene in one of my videos and there is a subtle micro-stutter on my second monitor which I can find no way to fix. This doesn't occur if outputting to a single display, one or the other, nor does it occur when playing the video on my primary monitor in a dual-monitor configuration. Note that when I say "primary monitor", I am not referring to the monitor Windows has marked as primary, but my actual monitor rather than TV. In a dual-monitor configuration, this micro-stutter will only occur when playing video on my right monitor (TV), regardless of settings or which ports the monitors are connected to on the GPU. The micro-stutter occurs with no relation to the activity on the other screen, as it can be completely still. I can confirm the micro-stutter does not occur at all with Desktop Window Manager (Aero) disabled. In short, this is a nightmare.
(Note that this micro-stutter is equally replicable in the 182.50 (WDDM1.1-less) driver, meaning there is no way to solve it other than disabling Aero or outputting to a single monitor.)
I think I've solved the problem.. for me, anyway. I've divided this into short answer and "long answer", which is closer to a stream of consciousness in some ways, as I found out about Force10Level9 as I was writing.
    The short version:
I've found some registry keys which seem to have fixed the problem for me. I haven't experienced any side effects, but use the tweaks at your own risk!
I don't know exactly what they do. This comes from a lot of.. experimentation. I believe FrameRateMin tells the Desktop Window Manager that it's crucial to try to keep the framerate at or above the value specified (more details below), and Force10Level9 sounds like it forces DWM to use DirectX 9. I'm fairly certain about the former, not as certain about the latter, but together they do wonders.
You can view the fix below. You can then save it as a .reg file and import it into your registry. Restart the Desktop Window Manager service or reboot to see the changes.
    Fix: http://pastebin.com/FFDbubw9
    Undo: http://pastebin.com/zA8CJY06
(P.S. Just ran a FurMark test between fix applied and no fix. No difference in performance, with an inactive secondary monitor. I also noticed no difference in Physical Memory usage as reported by Task Manager. YMMV, let me know if you have any side effects.)
(P.P.S. The screen fade that happens when you log in/out is just as choppy as before (or if it wasn't choppy for you, that shouldn't have changed). Oh well, how often do we see that thing, anyway? :))
By the way, it appears 10Level9 is Windows 7's emulation platform for running DX10 on DX9 hardware. It's reported to be at least a 0.5x performance hit, so it's surprising that it actually makes Aero run better. If this article is anything to go by, Force10Level9 makes Aero run exactly the same as it does with older WDDM 1.0-only drivers like 182.50: http://www.techarp.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=637&pgno=1
    The long version:
Well... I was able to do one more thing.
There is an undocumented registry key which allows you to fine-tune the Desktop Window Manager's scheduling. Unfortunately, all of its values seem to be defunct in the final version of Windows 7 we all use today... except one: FrameRateMin.
From what I gather, the Desktop Window Manager (Aero) carefully monitors the framerate it is able to achieve, and when it can't measure up to its own expectations, it will perform a "step down", or framerate reduction, and maintain this lower framerate for a given period of time (at one time specifiable with a registry value) before trying again at maximum speed.
I presume it does all this to keep things looking "smooth".
The problem is, in most cases, it doesn't help, and actually prolongs the stuttering duration. By "in most cases", I mean in every case it's happened in my personal usage of my Windows 7 computers.
So what helped me was setting this FrameRateMin value to 60. That way, the Desktop Window Manager considers anything under 60fps to be unacceptable and will not remain at a lower framerate for purposes of perceived smoothness. Thus, the stuttering will take up as little time as possible, making it nearly unnoticeable most of the time.
Keep in mind DWM shouldn't be having performance problems to begin with, but apparently in some cases, like with my particular hardware (desktop and laptop) and the latest NVIDIA drivers, it does.
Down to brass tacks. The registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\Schedule. The value is FrameRateMin, a DWORD representing the minimum framerate DWM will consider as acceptable. I set it to 60, but you can set it to whatever you want.
To repeat, this WILL NOT prevent Aero from ever getting below the framerate you specify; it simply prevents Aero from retaining a lower framerate after a stutter in order to give the illusion of smoothness (an illusion which fails).
I imagine the main reason it fails so spectacularly in my usage is because I watch a lot of videos which play back at 24fps. Such a framerate plays back terribly with a 30Hz refresh rate, which is what Aero would reduce itself to for extended lengths of time. Now, performance hiccups are minimal, but sadly still existent.
So this isn't a solution, but it does help. I am still uncertain of where the problem lies, considering GPU-Z shows graphics card loads to be as low as always when it's happening.
Oh, and I found one more registry value. This one is far more important. :) It solves the problem for me entirely, from what I can tell.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics
add the DWORD value Force10Level9 with a value of 1.
I haven't noticed any side effects, just smooth performance.
Apply these tweaks at your own risk!

  • Seeburger BIC Mapping deployment issue in PI 7.1

    Hi experts
We have upgraded from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1 and seeburger is also upgraded to  a compatible version.(2.x).
Mappings_user.sda was used in 3.0 environment.
But we are not able to deploy the same in 7.1. I think sda format is not supported in 7.1.
Is there any way to convert .sda to .sca and deploy?
Or how can we generate a compatible deployment file for 7.1?
I have tried using BIC mapping designer, but it shows the option for .sda and .jar only.
    Thanks in advanceDhanish Joseph

    Hi
I have installed BICMD  632 version and imported .BICMD project file.
Then assigned sda/sca number to it and created deploy file.(Mapping_user00.sda).
Then installed this in PI system using JSPM.
I have tested allmost all the mappings successfully except one in PI system.(EDI 990 message).
When i send data to PI  data comes to channel and it shows conversion error. But detailed information not available.
In seeburger monitoring  the message goes to recovery mode.
I have used the input 990 X12 and tested in Seeburger BIC MD. And there it is success!!!!!! So i am confused what is happening when it comes to PI system.
    I faced some issues>>>
    1.  while importing project file into BIC MD it asked for apply some autocorrection  for one map.(different than this). I have clicked on cancel
    2. When i assigned SDA number to my project i have selected 2.1.0  SDA version( 1.8.0 option was also there).
Your prompt reply is greatly appreciated .
    Thanks
