I updated my iPad and I went to buy a new song and it asked me to register my iPad. It asked me security questions and I didn't remember them so I went to Apple support and changed my password and security questions. I went back to try and buy the song again and my old password still worked and my security questions didn't change. Now I'm locked out. How do I unlock it?

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
If you can't remember your password or security questions then can you get the password reset via email (if you have a rescue email address on your account then check that for the reset email as well).
If not then try contacting Support in your country, they should be able to reset your password and security questions.

How do I send/email Documents with high security and password protected

I want to send Documents securely to my clients. What product do I need and how do I send/email with password protection? I recently purchased Adobe Send but not sure this was the right product needed to send my documents securely?

In Acrobat you can create a Portfolio in which your documents (any types) will be placed as attachments and encrypt the whole portfolio. You can also create a small PDF, possibly with explanation what is in it, attach your files to it, and encrypt this PDF. In this case you can encrypt attachments only, so that the user can open the shell PDF but to extract the files would need to know the password.

Bummer about what iFelix mentioned regarding the compatible issues with ibook G3's.......but WEP is still a good security setting....
Below is what I posted just moments after iFlex's post.....it might be helpful.
This is what I just did about an hour ago....I changed my security from WEP to WPA2 Personal. What I had to do, with help from Hitheringwaters and um:
You probably already did this......
Open Airport Admin Utility, select your AE, click on Config, make sure Airport button is selected, change wireless security to WPA2 Personal, add your new password and click ok. make sure you select Update...close Airport admin utility.
open Network preferences, highlight Airport then click on Config, make sure Airport button is selected, then "By Default Join: select preffered networks, delete your network. close Network Prefs, open up Network prefs again and add your network back with a new password and don't forget to Update.
this is what I just did for my Powerbook G4 and iBook G4.....and i have WPA2 Personal security on my AE network.

Airport security and password

Hello:
I keep seeing an icon show up in my network listing that looks like a Mac Desktop Computer, with the name "mac001ff3cb570b". I assume someone has gotten into my Airport network and is using my Airport for their internet connection? (I don't have any other computers at home that are turned on).
If this is the case, how can I change the password for Airport? I've gone through system preferences but haven't figured it out.
Help...I don't want someone stealing my network!

Airport Utility>Manual Setup>Wireless.
Make sure you chose WPA or WPA2 security. WEP is very easy to hack. Then make sure you pick a very strong password. I use https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm for passwords. The guy who runs it is a very respected security expert. You might also want to change your admin password for the Airport at Airport utility>Manual Setup>Base Station. Use a strong password for that also.
It is very important not to use a password that can be found in a dictionary. A combination or letters, numbers and symbols works well.

I'm testing Enterprise User Security. Till now everything has gone ok, I can connect to my db using oid users.
Now I'm configuring OID password policies for my realm but it seems that these are not applied when I connect through db. For example, I can try to logon with a wrong password as many time as I want, although in policies a limit of three is set.
Is this correct?!

If you're not using DB 10.2 this is the "expected" behavior for the DB. See also metalink note 351170.1 "Enterprise Users Can Connect to a Database when the OID Account is Disabled"

I have an HP Laptop. It has a fingerprint scanner for sign in and passwords. I just updated to the newest version of firefox, and my fingerprint scanner won't come up on websites.

I am running an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Windows 7 Home Premium, with an HP SimplePass for security and password storage. With the previous Firefox, when I would open a website that had sign in and password information, the fingerprint icon would come up in the top left hand side, and I could swipe my finger and it automatically entered the information. When I recently updated to the latest version of firefox, this option is no longer available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My goal is to have a claims based web application that authenticated to ADAM for Extranet. I have configured the servers exactly to MSDN and technet specs (following this spec to the

I found plenty out there and nothing directly correlates with this issue.
I searched on all parts of the errors I got.
This contains an interesting blurb about setting up access for the apppool id correctly.
That’s not the case for me. It works in dev and the same id are used there.

You say its a multiserver farm, do you have more than one web server then?
If thats the case, have you tried accessing the site on each server directly?

How do you reset the security questions when you havent used a credit card to make any purchases, only the gift cards. Apple support will not help me even though i know my account and apple id and password?

Have a new computer and now cannot access itunes without knowing the answers to the security questions. Apple support cannot reset as we have never used a credit card when purchasing prior, have only used gift cards. Can provide apple id and password and all other account details but still no help. Have we to open a new3 account and start again, this means losing a lot of credit on the existing account?!

I have the same problem. I didn't set a rescue email for some reason. To find out weather you hav a rescue password: Go to appleid.apple.com, sign in, go to manage account and then password and security if you do there will be a link below telling you that you can send an email to it. If not the link won't be there. Hope this helps.

I would imagine this applies to any iOS mobile device. I need to set up a video conference at a local library meeting room. I was going to use my MacBook Pro and Facetime. When I open Facetime on my MBP, it prompts me for my Apple id and password. If I were to enter it when connected to a pulic wifi, is the transmission of my account info visible?
What about when connecting to something like an Optimum Online hotspot where I need a username and password to access the wifi? Is that any more secure?
