Security Certificate for BizTalk server
Hello,
We need to have a party certificate for EDI communication for ourselves, as required by some of our trading partners. Currently we have EDI implemented but moving to BizTalk platform. So we do have a certificate for our party in our current AS2 software.
My question is, can we use the same certificate for our party once moved to BizTalk (different computer, different environment). And if not, where would you go to obtain one?
Thanks a lot!
Galina
Hi Galina,
You can use the same certificate which you used in non-BizTalk to BizTalk EDI integration. Security by using certificate is not specific to BizTalk; it’s all related to cryptography and digital signature.
BizTalk just provides a way to support those security implementations. So you can very well use the same certificates used in non BizTalk to BizTalk environment as part of your migration.
For party resolution, you have to use the public certificate of your trading partner. So this certificate must have been shared to you by your trading partner. In your non-BizTalk EDI communication for party
resolution you would have used this public key/certificate. This certificate (public key) is not related to BizTalk or non-BizTalk EDI products. This is used to implement public-private key pair of digital signature. For BizTalk you have to install this public
certificate in “Other People store”
Just and additional info, if you don’t have this (or misses this in future) you have to get this public key from your trading partner to whom you exchange EDI messages.
If this answers your question please mark it accordingly. If this post is helpful, please vote as helpful.

The certificate for this server is invalid
Hi can anyone help? I get a message "cannot connect to iTunes Store" when selecting App Store on my iPod. Also if I try iTunes icon, I get "the certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "itunes.apple.com" which could put your confidential information at risk"
The steps I have taken so far, - connected to PC and updated software to iOS 6.1.3 (worked fine on PC)
Checked WiFi connection (fine)
Checked other apple products are working fine (yes)
Checked i am logged into apple id (yes)
Is there anything else I'm missing ??
Thanks aliianThanks to those contributing this fix -- had this issue on my son's iPad mini and was going crazy trying to figure it out!!
To answer the question of why this causes an issue: this is part of the standard security features of the internet - when you connect securely to a server (as the i-devices do when accessing itunes), it has an SSL Certificate which has an expiry date on it -- the device checks the certificate to try and make sure you aren't getting duped by an out of date certificate, and if your date is set too far in the future (my son's was in 2019!) then it looks like the expiry date is in the past and it won't let you connect..
Cheers! -
An error occurred searching the certificates for the server. ...
Hi,
I am using DSEE 6.2 in Fedora 7
Each time I access the "Security" tab of my server in DSCC. I get the following error:
"*An error occurred searching the certificates for the server. An authentication error occurred connecting to xxxxx. Check that the User ID and password are correct*"
I need to click the "Click here to update authentication" link in the same tab and enter the User ID and password for the user that create the server. The error will gone for this session but reappear as I start a new session in DSCCThis looks like a known bug. Please log a support case so this can be investigated further

Verification Failed. The certificate for this server is invalid
I am trying to backup my iPad to iCloud. I get:
Verification Failed. The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "setup.icloud.com" which could put your confidential information at risk.
I am logged onto the wifi at work and I can surf the Internet so the connection is OK.
How do I begin to debug this issue?Hey everyone,
I had this issue for few months already! I have a @me.com mail address, theoretically should be compatible with iCloud, just for some reason, it's not working!!
The mail all work fine on my macbook and iPhone, just the ipad kept showing the error message, the "verification failed".
The internet is wi-fi and it all working fine.
Now here is the solution.
Make sure you got internet connected fine.
Go Setting --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> Add Account --> Other
--> Add Mail Address -->
in the description, it will auto showing "Me", don't change it!
Go "Next" -->
in the Incoming Mail Server
Host Name --> Type "imap.mail.me.com"
Then your user name and password
in the Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name --> Type "smtp.mail.me.com"
Then your user name and password
Then next and save it.
This should work, it works for me,
Hope this helps!! -
Xcode - "The certificate for this server is invalid"
Hi,
I'm trying to log into my Xcode Server (with it's own self-signed certificate) from my work iMac, I receive the following message:
"The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “[server name]” which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the server anyway?"
The only option is "OK" which just prompts the login screen again, it doesn't allow me to "connect anyway". How do I get around this? :/What account are you trying to access? Skype or some other site and you are being redirected to Skype?

Verification failed certificate for this server is invalid
I attempt to log into the iCloud on my iPod over a WiFi connection and it gives me the Verification Failed. The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "setup.icloud.com" which could put your confidential information at risk.
Why am I getting this and how can I access the iCloud to backup my files? This happened to me because my router was configured to use Open DNS servers (Primary 208.67.222.222, Secondary 208.67.220.220). Temporarily adjusting the DNS settings on the router to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 did the trick. Open DNS does weird things with certain certificates. Even if your router is configured to used something else, try the ones listed above to see if it makes a difference.

Trying to set up a 2nd device on Mobile Me and it's telling me "Verification Failed, Certificate for this server is invalid, I might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be setup.me.com which can put my confidential information at risk." Please tell me what this means and how to correct it. My 1st device set up with Mobile Me just fine.
Check your date/time settings if correct.
Happened to me when I changed the battery then I found out that the settings is not yet set.
Works flawless now!
Good luck! -
My iPod won't let me on to the App Store, and whenever I go on to ITunes, an alert pops up that the certificate for the server is invalid, and that I may be connecting to a server that is only pretending to be iTunes.apple.com and my personal info may be at risk. I downloaded an emulator yesterday from coolroms.com but deleted the app this afternoon. I cleared my safari search data, my cookies and data, and web inspector, which still didn't work. I then proceeded to reset my iPod and then download the newest version of IOS 6.1.5 but yet still am having problems. Also to the App Store and iTunes, several other apps aren't working. Any help here?
Also, when I go on to safari, another alert pops up that safari cannot verify the identity of the website, anything that I type in to as common as google.com. It gives me 3 options to either cancel, look at details, and continue. I've looked at the details of the website of Google and it is legitimate the site. Any help?

How to uninstall/remove security update for SQL Server 2012
My requirement is to uninstall/remove security update for SQL
Server 2012 Service Pack 1 only. so are these below steps are correct or do I need to take any extra precaution for uninstallation?
Go to Control panelàProgramsà
Programs and FeaturesàInstalled Updrtes, right click on update and uninstall
As per my knowledge in SQL Server 2005, we cannot uninstall a service pack. we have to uninstall SQL Server 2005 completely, and reinstall SQL Server 2005 with previous service
packs and updates. but Starting SQL Server 2008, we can uninstall a service pack using Control Panel.

What does it mean when you get the notification certificate for this server is invalid
What does the following mean -the certificate for this server is invalid?
Hi, Knaresborough.
I would recommend checking the date and time on the computer side as this can be the cause of the issue if not set correctly. However, here are some helpful troubleshooting articles if the issue persists.

I have never had an issue until recently that won't allow me to go onto the App Store or iTunes on my iPod touch 4th gen. It says the certificate for this server is invalid. Then it says, you might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be iTunes.apple.com which could put your confidential information at risk. How can I fix this so I can access iTunes and the App Store from my iPod again?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings -
