SECURITY CODE INVALID/ BUT IT ISNT
WHEN I TRY TO DL APPS, ERROR MESSAGE "SECURITY CODE INVALID" BUT IT IS NOT. IT WORKED BEFORE
I, too, am having this problem! It's really quite frustrating! This is the second time this has happened to me too.

Security code invalid/ but is not
Was able to get free apps since purchase of I-pad 2 until yesterday, I receive a message saying security code not valid and it is.
Unfortunately this does not seem to be a new problem. Once you have one card come up that way it seems it will keep coming up no-mater what card you use. There are a couple of work-arounds; first is to buy a iTunes gift card and apply it to your account (a little inconvenient but it works). The second and most popular is to access your account through iTunes on your PC/Mac and change your billing to a paypal account.
Some people have been able to change their billing back to a previously rejected card immediately after applying the changes above. But considering this is an ongoing issue with the App store and iTunes (earliest post about it dates back to the release of the iPod touch) I feel safer with them not having my CC info anyway.

How to change payment method or delete improper info.?
Try signing out of your account, Reset the iPad [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is absolutely safe..... And sign back in again!

It keeps saying there's a billing problem with last purchase an to update payment method, but it keeps saying security code invalid. What do I do?
Type in the three digit code from the back of your credit/debit card to update your payment method/information. I had the same "security code invalid" response today... this is all it wanted me to do.

Contact the card issuer and find out what the problem is.
Was the card issued in the same countryas the store you're trying to use? -
My iPod iTunes thing is be a pain in the you know what and won't let download anything cause my account verified thing keeps popping up and I put my security code in but it won't work and I have my iTunes redeem card and it wo t let me use it.please help

I am at my wits end! Can't update any apps or download any apps. It kicks back everytime saying "Security code invalid", when in fact it's very much right and it hasn't been having a problem. Any ideas?

I am getting a security code invalid error everytime I try to download a app or update my current apps? I looked online and a few people are having the same issues anyone been able to get this resolved? It's not just on Iphones either it's on all apple devices. I've called Apple customer service. I've wrote a complaint online as well so far no good.
Any help would be much appreciated Love to all and thanks!I have done that thousands of times for my security code. Doesn't work and I have called the bank and they say no problem with my card. I have also tried useing different cards all together with no luck idk what else to do? Help!

it says my security code is invalid, i triple check the 3 digits at the back and it was right..
i went to itunes and then it says, "the credit card security code does not match your banks records."

Launch iTunes on your computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.
Restart your computer, launch iTunes, sign in. Make sure the security code is correct then click Done. -

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store -
Good afternoon, I'm normally the security code disabled but yesterday as he visits I enabled it and put my usual code but my iphone 4S version 5.1.1 and says it is wrong now only ever asks me to connect to itunes or me allows you to enter the code again.

Every time I go on my iTunes account via my iPhone or even my computer, I get notified that my security code is invalid. My account did this a while back, but I ignored it for a while and it eventually accepted my security code. It's not doing that now. It's been a week, I need to update my apps and want to be able to purchase whatever I want. It's extremely fruststing that it won't accept my actual card security code. Someone please help?

HT2534 I keep getting "security code invalid" on a card that has been on my acct for over a year.
I keep getting invalid security code on a card that has been on my account for months. I've been making purchases often with no problems. Now I can't even download updates. I've tried removing the card, but this also has been proving very difficult to do. Please help me. I know others have had this problem in the past, but still haven't found a resolution. <Email Edited By Host>Log onto iTunes on your computer, then update ur current credit card info with spaces inbetween the 4 sets of numbers then put in ur exp date and security code and all that info. im not guaranteeing this will work but it did for me.
