Security is not making the device usable
I have been trying to copy and paste a word from the email to the browser (even the browser in the work space) and it isn't allowing me saying that copy from secured area isn't allowed.
This doesn't allow me to use this device to search for words on the net which makes the device being effective or usable.
This very much feels like the engineers designed the features.
Try typing the words into the Browser. Instead of trying to copy & paste them.

Can not see the device net Master Interface in my project.
Can not see the device net Master Interface in my existing project. Need to Modify exististing code. Can not recomiple and create exe file after making changes. Error says the vi's are broken. Tried re-installing industrial communications for device net but get an error saying a newer version is already installed. Do I need to plug my computer into the device net scanner to fix this?
Assume the installation disk is an OS X disk? If it's the original one that came with the system (grey-colored disk versus black retail disk) have you tried to hold the alt key down when you boot? This would allow you to choose the Apple hardware test. If you can do this, choose the Apple hardware test, click the arrow to the right, and when prompted choose the extended test. Does that give you any errors or messages about a hardware problem?
Are you able to hold the C key down when you reboot, to boot off the installation disk? -
Whenever I update from Windows 7 get error 1602, iPod shows USB connection to iTunes, but iTunes will not recognize the device. None of the Apple documentation helps. The Apple Mobile Device driver is loaded and operating. The anti-virus software and firewall are not at fault (were uninstalled, and made no difference). The iTunes on my older machine running Vista does recognize the inoperative iPod (iTunes has detetced an iPod in recovery mode) and allows me to restore the device. Can anyone help to resolve this problem on the Windows 7 PC?

Error 1600, 1601, 1602: Try the following steps to resolve this error:
Ensure proper USB isolation troubleshooting has been performed, and test with a known-good cable.
Follow the steps listed for Error 1604.
This error may be resolved by disabling, deactivating, or uninstalling third-party security, antivirus, and firewall software. See steps in this article for details on troubleshooting security software.
Error 1604: This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling USB ports, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections, device not recognized properly, computer won't recognize a FireWire or USB device). If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for error 1604.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while iPhone remains connected.
iPhone should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

Hello buy a movie on apple tv, and now can not find the device tells me I should go to settings / downloads / check downloads, but that does not exist in the menu of the apple tv, please help
Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
Critical: My BB Passport not recognizing the device password
Hi Support folks, Have been using this Passport for 45 days and today surprisingly it is not recoginizing the device password. Its says 5 more attempts left, however I have tried it many times more than 10 times and still shows the same message. I tried to connect to BB Link and when entered the device password it just thinks and does nothing. I feel the backend file associated my device is locked out. I tried restarting the device several times with no luck. I have to access this device asap to access my data, mails, contacts and make calls. Pleae help me asap.
I had a real bad 6-8 hours in my life. Things I tried with no luck: - Entered the correct password close to 100 times still it says 5/10 attempts- Restarted the phone by using the power button Long 10 seconds press - Many many times , No luck- Hard restarted the phone many times by long pressing the Volume Up and Down button, No luck- Connected to the MacBook, BB Lynk asked for the device password 1/10 attempts and nothng happens after entering the password. It just sits there. Disconnected the phone and tried the same process almost 20 times with no luck.- On my MacBook, connected the device and BB Blent was showing all the files and contents on my device, it allowed me to copy all the files. This is a security loop hole in BB. Even if the device is secured and connected, one can copy the data. Doesnt this sound horrible for a business phone?- After several attempts to connect to BB Link I have got the reload option enabled before entering the device password on my MacBook. Doesnt this sound weired? I then clicked on reload and got a confirmation Yes/No. I clicked on No and then it asked for the device password. Entered the password and it accepted. So basically, I fooled the BB reload option/system. Overall, BB is not up to the mark when it comes to security. What could have happened? A. The file associated for the BB System password become inaccessable due to the lock on the file. I want the BB developers to look in to this matter seriously and strengthen the BB system to built confidence for the business users. I am sending an alert to all the BB users in y organization to be careful and try to stay away from BB since data is everything what we deal with and its all classified. I will also be writing about this in all the possible consumer forums to create awareness. Regards,Aljo George

Ipod touch will not turn on and computer does not recognize the device
I tried resetting my ipod touch, but there is still no response. I have had it plugged into the computer for a couple of days. I don't know if it is charging or what because the screen won't turn on and the computer does not recognize the device. I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes, as well as restarting my computer several times. Does anyone know what to do? I would try restoring it, but like I said my computer doesn't recognize it and itunes doesn't either. Thanks!
I just had a similar problem and tried all of the reboot techniques with no success. I knew it had to be a connection issue inside the iPod, and grasping at straws, I sprayed a little WD-40. I dried it off and let it sit overnight. Today at lunch I plugged it in to my wall charger and it began charging.
***FYI I know they don't recommend spraying WD-40 on your iPod, but it was a last resort for me. I was at the point of paying to send it in for repairs or throwing it away. I wouldn't try this unless you are ready to throw yours away too. -
I have an iphone 5s and it is synced to itunes and works fine. previously I have downloaded audiobooks to my wifes 6th gen nano using this account - now I tunes does not recognize the device and also it seems that it is not being read by the computer?

Hello,
I need help before i go to the apple store for help.
My problem is that I have an Ipod touch which it was working fine but now it will not boot all the way.
It will not show the red bar when is ready to be turn off or reboot when using both buttons to reset it it will only come to the apple logo then goes blank.
I tried to restore via Itunes but same result, it will start showing is doing the extract then it will go blank and get a message saying that It can not find the device.
What do i need to do.

- Try another USB port
- Try another cable try another cable
- Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I am a windows user that has converted to Mac and loving it but when I updated to Lion my wireless internet dongle would not work anymore and the Macbook Pro does not recognise the device at all so I am unable to reinstall it again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Go to Finder > Preferences then select the General tab
Make sure External disks is selected. -

I am using a homemade kernel, but i can't think of a reason why that would prevent things from working properly considering the module loaded ok.

My PC USB is not recognizing the device (iphone) and giving error 10.. The USb is malfunctioning but ipod is getting connected easliy
Try DFU Mode Restore. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power button, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes.

How come I keep getting a message saying that the accessory may not support the device? I've been using the same charger that came in the box with the phone. Now it doesn't charge at all.
