If you go by general meaning, you should not use "Security List Maintenance (Obsolete)"
Also, in short, if you want all your responsibility to work as per the security method attached with them, you need to run the Program "Security List Maintenance" on regular basis.

How To Uninstall Photoshop CC (2014) from Creative Cloud (not listed in Program and Features)

My membership for Creative Cloud has expired and I want to uninstall Photoshop CC 2014 from my system.
The ONLY Adobe application listed under 'Program and Features' (Windows 8.1) is the Adobe Creative Cloud, however when I uninstall that all the Adobe Photoshop and Bridge system files remain. When double clicking on photoshop.exe (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\photoshop.exe) I get the Creative Cloud 'Renew your Subscription' screen. After then rebooting and reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop, it shows that Photoshop CC, Photoshop CC (2014), and Bridge CC are installed and are all 'up to date'
I have searched everywhere on my system for photoshop uninstall files without success.
Please advise how to delete/uninstall all applications installed by Adobe Creative Cloud when the applications are not listed in the Control Panel 'Programs and Features'

Thank you for the link. I don't want to sound rude, but I said the programs installed by Creative Cloud Desktop are NOT listed in Windows Control Panel's 'Programs and Features'. The link provided is useless.
The only Adobe software listed under 'Program and Features' ('Add or Remove Programs' for Windows XP users) is the Creative Cloud Desktop program itself and when uninstalling that, it does NOT uninstall Photoshop CC (2014) or Adobe Bridge CC. When selecting uninstall for Creative Cloud, no Change options are provided to remove Photoshop CC. Uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop leaves all Photoshop and Bridge system files intact.
Again, I want to uninstall Photoshop CC that was installed by Creative Cloud Desktop and is NOT listed under Program and Features.

I am trying to figure out how to get data from a file, database, or program and use that information in another
program. Can you help please?
I have looked through several texts and while the information is there somewhere I have not found the specific
capabilities or examples that explain how to do this.
I want to learn how to do this with objects.
The specific applications I am working with are the GIS (Geographic Information System) suite of ESRI products
such as ArcInfo and ArcView.
I am working with simulators for hydrologeology (ground water) and other geophysical phenomenae. Programs for
decisions and assessment of probability such as found in geostatistical analyses packages. Drawing programs
and data manipulation programs such as spreadsheets in windows and scripting languages found in most Unix
packages.
I want to be proprietary platform free! I want to be accessing apps and or data wherever they are and in
whichever form they are in or best used.
Web techniques and protocols are where I think most of my effort will be focused.
One of the mediums (media) that I expect to use a lot is XML.
If I can find a simplified (generalized) explanation how this is done and how the parts fit together through and or
with objects. If I can find references to texts and examples I will be very appreciative and very much less
confused.
I am interested in using the Java programming language.

I am not quite sure that I understand what you are trying to do. The programs that you mention: ArcInfo and ArcView, are they stand alone, native, platform dependent applications? Or are they written in Java? It sounds like there are stand alone, native, platform dependent applications, that write their output to either a file or a database.
The other piece that is puzzling me is: Do you intend to write an Applet or a Java Application? This is important because Java places several restrictions on what an Applet can do.
There is also the question of how the data is produced. Is it produced all at once in batch or is it produced a little at a time in real time?
These and other questions will need to be answered before you can begin designing your application. There are many tutorials dealing with opening a file or database and manipulating that data from an Applet or a Java Application, but it is a different matter all together getting data from an application.

Secure custom developer programs and transactions

Hi Guys,
I am given a task in my company to maintain authority check for all costom developed programs and transaction.
In combination TADIR, TRDIR & TSTC i found more then 1000 transactions and 1500 programs custom developed.
So now I am having difficulty in finding authority check at program level for all the custom programs and transactions. I tried to use RSABAPSC but this gives for each program/ transaction.
Can you guys help me to find a best way to get the list for the whol transactions and good approach to complete the task at ace and good way.
Please comment your best practices and approaches for this.
Let me know if you guys need any more information from me to make the above more clear.

I do not think you will find any relevant standard report/functionality in the SAP System, that could scan your Z-Report and find out if it's correctly secured with authorizations checks. Many of those checks could hide in called functionmodules, Methods etc.
And you still have need to define and check each SAP report for your companies specific security requirement.
With 1000/1500 Z-transactions/reports, my guess is, that a lot of them might be obsolete, never used, temp programs for dataloads etc. So mayby you do not have to focus on all of them, so I think that my approach would be, to try to limit the number of report that I needed to investigate thoroughly, and then take the reports one by one.
The steps involved would be something like:
1. Find out which of your Z-reports/T-codes thats actually used. You should be able to se that in SM20(if you have activated the secure audit log with the correct filters), ST03N etc. Report/T-codes that are not used could be locked in SM01.
2. Investigate the used reports one by one, Check the Source-Code, do an Authorisation trace etc - Remember that if your Z-Report used BAPI and other SAP Standard functionality, Or if i reads from at DATASET etc.. you might not be able to spot the Authority-check statement in your source code
3. Implement and test the relevant and requirered additional authorization check
4. Document in SU24
5. Adjust the roles
And your ready for test.
And yes I know,,, It can be a hugh job, but I do not think that you can find a quick-fix for this.

How do I uninstall Adobe CS6 Design Standard from my machine? Program is not listed in "Programs and Features".

I have Adobe CS6 Design Standard Installed on my machine and I now have a new machine that I need to put this on. I am trying to uninstall it from my old machine because I need to have the "license" available. However, the adobe programs are not listed in my Windows 7 uninstall dialog box. I assume I uninstalled something on accident (Adobe Application Manager?) that is causing this issue.
I have the physical disc for the CS6 Design Standard. Please I need some help understanding how to uninstall the programs...I can still use them and they are simply icons on my desktop but not listed in my "Programs and Features" dialog box.

Photoshop CC not listed in "Programs and Features" of Windows 8.1

Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Bridge CC and Adobe Extension Manager CC are not listed in Control Panel section "Programs and Features" of Windows 8.1. Only Adobe Creative Cloud Manager is listed. I have to install Photoshop CC because the current update failed with error code U44M1P7. The advice of Support is to remove Photoshop and reinstall it because I have no other options to solve this update error. Revo Uninstaller Pro and Ashampoo Uninstaller 5 also do not show Adobe CC programs in their list of programs. What can I do to solve this problem?

Control Panel shows Flash Player icon but not listed in Programs and Features

Several sites such as Hulu.com and my university homework page keep telling me that I require Flash Player 10 or higher and to download and install before continuing. So when I try, this is the message I get: Flash Player is pre-installed with Internet Explorer in Windows 8. And then in the box below, it says: Flash Player is disabled. I've tried all of the steps to correct this issue, but nothing is working for me. Also the control panel shows the Flash Player icon, but when I go into the programs and features, Flash Player is not listed at all. What am I doing wrong??

Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Internet Explorer on Windows 8.x so you won't see a separate item in Programs and Features for Flash Player ActiveX (the version used by IE). If you install Flash Player Plug-in for non-IE browsers it'll create an entry in Programs and Features.
Since you didn't specify which troubleshooting steps you've taken, have you tried the ones listed here Flash Player Issues | Windows 8? Also, when you go to this page, Adobe - Flash Player do you see the Flash animation at the top of the page? If so, what version is detected as being installed in the 'Version Information' widget? The latest Flash Player version for IE is 15.0.0.167. If that's not the version listed, please run Windows Update to get the latest version of Internet Explorer or use the link at the bottom of the Flash Player Issues | Windows 8 page.

Adobe 11.0.3 keeps running after closing the program and uses all cpu

After closing Adobe reader it remains in the background on task manager and uses about 25% of CPU for each instance, each time a pdf is closed it adds another instance in the background, when there are four my cpu is maxed out. I have to use my computer with task manager always running so I can end task each time I close a PDF. I tried the solution stopping welcome screen with registry fix and other fixes for prior versions, none help. Running Windows 8.

In order to deploy via GPO, you need to create AIP (Administrative Installation Point) for Reader 11.0 and then patch that AIP with 11.0.04 to create AIP of 11.0.04
Method:
1. Extract Reader 11.0.4 exe via the following command line,

3. Now navigate to "C:\Rdr11AIP" to create AIP for 11.0.4 in C:\Rdr11AIP" and follow the wizard

for this example, "Path to 11.0.04 patch location" is going to be "c:\temp_folder\AdbeRdrUpd11004.msp"
So the command would be,

4. You will see following files in your "C:\Rdr11AIP" folder,
