Security Pref Pane crashes System Prefs

Question

the details i've listed here haven't changed, but i finally had time to follow Kappy's instructions to use Pacifist:

while interesting and helpful for other, future needs this did not solve my immediate problem: clicking on the security pref pane gets me "Loading Security…" and that's about it.
system prefs still crashes in the same manner. (click another pane then go back to security, click it and sysprefs crashes.
any other work arounds or advice as to what the pref pane actually does would be helpful.
my permissions are repaired every night before back up, so if that was your immediate response, thank you but believe me i've tried everything i know. its a conundrum.

Have same problem with my Mac Pro 3,1 - V10.6.7 -- here is my log:

Recommend sending ALL Crash Reports to Apple for possible resolution.
