I have forgotten the answers to my security questions. (who was your favorite childhood friend, who was your least favorite teacher etc.) As a result, every time i try to purchase something like an app or song on my phone, I can't. It always asks me for the answers. Apple support has no solutions, what do i do?

I took my iMac to be fixed and when I got it back, mail was not set, so I called Apple and they helped me set up mail. Now the new mail goes to trash and there is no number by the 'inbox' to tell me how many new messages I have. I cannot save a draft to 'drafts.' There is a large number by 'trash' (I think all mail went to trash - including drafts). When I send myself an emai, it goes to trash also. This is on both my iMac (the one taken in) and my MacBook Pro (same emails) which was not taken in.
I went to 'rules' but have no idea what to do there. There are no rules in the rule box. When I click 'add rule' it puts 'rule 1' in the rule box, but since that was not there when I took it in, I delete it to have an empty rule box.
Can someone pleasehelp me. I am completely stupid with all this. Do not under stand what is suppose to be set up in 'rules.'

ArudiNow new mail is coming to both computer's inboxes but there is no number on the stamp icon on dock to show number of emails on the iMac. Nor is there a number by either email address under MAILBOXES/inbox (sidebar) on the iMac. This number is showing on MacBook Pro.
I also can save drafts now on both computers.
Seems the Pro is fixed and the iMac is only missing the numbers on dock icon and by addresses in inbox.
Now that the problem is less, I feel i am wasting your time but will continue so maybe I can get those numbers back.
Two emails > AT&T email and gmail.
Apple's Mail program for email - yes, and gmail.
IMAP for both accounts.
Did not change mail configuration on MacBook.
The iMac and MacBook Pro have the same mail configuration except in Accounts/mailbox behaviours/store draft messages on the server was not marked on MacBook > it is now.
'Store junk messages on the server' was marked on one computer for gmail, but is unmarked on both now.
On the iMac, Accounts/Accounts info/Outgoing mail for gmail is smtpgmail.
On the MacBook Pro for gmail it is smpt.gmail.com (plus) my email address.
Rules/Add rule window, on the MacBook third line is 'Any Recipient', on the iMac third line is 'From."
The last box on that line has my email address on the MacBook.
The last box on that line has the last address I sent an emil to (last night), on the iMac.
On the last line on iMac, no box was selicted for 'to mailbox' > I choose 'inbox' because it is on the MacBook Pro.
Now I have a Rule #1 and am not sure I should have because there was no rules marked when I took the computer in.
Thank you. I relized I had done the labeling wrong when so much of my question appeared twice and no one else's did. I know how to do it now.

You'll need to get it all onto one iTunes collection on your Mac Pro, then sync the devices to that. iTunes only lets you transfer purchases from a device, otherwise you have to use third party software.
I guess you could also look into getting iTunes Match. -
Hello, trying to download the latest iTunes software version, a pop up comes with a "invalid signature" message. Try to do download only with the same results. I can buy and download from iTunes but can't get the latest version?

How can I please manage to get my contacts back to my MACBOOK PRO. They are completely disappeared after synchronization under iCloud with my iphone s4. Help is very much appreciated. Thx in advance.

I simply logged in over icloud.com and copied the contacts onto my monitor screen..... :-( Not the best idea, I know, but in fact I can look up my contacts.

On my new iPhone 4S I cannot purchase songs in the iTunes Store app without answering my security questions.. Me being forgetful forget the answer which I made in 2010 and need to know the answers or reset them, but I do not wish to call apple support, what is the other option? Any way of resetting them? I am having trouble with my links/websites having images attached to them. The place where the image should be is blank. For example, AARP has an A for its image. My storage website has a blank broken box where the image should be. I forgot I had trouble and had to reset Foxfire, this problem occurred after that reset.

Mixed content normally gives the world globe image, unless you are using a theme that uses a broken padlock instead. Maybe the gray triangle means invalid? I came across that in a few themes (what is invalid was not made clear), but those were not using triangle shapes to indicate that.

I have set up iCloud on my iPhone and Mac. When I go to iCloud on the web, sign in, and click on one of the apps (Calendar, contacts, etc.), I get a message telling me to enable the app on my iOS device - which I've already done. Any idea why it's not working for me? Thanks!This is presumably because you are running an earlier system than Lion. (Please always post your system when you have a question.)
The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mavericks preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is non non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mavericks, provided it meets the requirements.
The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Mavericks (10.9.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.

When you click this link another pop-up appears (a pop-up within a pop-up)
but it is blank.
When the process used to work, the statement would appear.
MacBook running OS X 10.6.8
When I tried it with Safari everything worked as it should so the problem is not with the bank.
I went back to Firefox (my preferred browser) and did the troubleshooting RESET.
Nothing changed.
In the Tools menu - Page Info - Permission - Open Pop-up Windows is set @ Default - Allow
In Preference - Content - Block pop-up windows is unchecked
or when it is checked the website is listed in the Allowed column.
It is the correct url because when I clicked the yellow options bar to Allow it, FireFox automatically chose it.
I also tried adding the extended url as it appears on the web page which has the first pop-up link.
Firefox would not accept it.Screenshots:

I asked a question with high detail on Feb 1, 2014 at 7:16 PM. I have checked many times, and there are still no replies. I am curious as to whether questions eventually disappear or are deleted? I am also curious as to whether my question is marked as answered; I replied to it with some extra information and I think that because it shows up with one reply that people may think that it has been answered. My Mail program doesn't show mail adressed to my icloud account. Messages show up on my iPhone but rarely on my iMac. I wrote Apple Support about this but they didn't even bother to answer.

Sometimes messages left on the server clog up the account there, or Mail chokes on a message it cannot download and that prevents it from downloading the rest as well. Solving this problem will probably require removing one or more messages from the server. What are your Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove copy from server settings for this account?
You may tell Mail to remove from the server all the messages that have already been downloaded by means of Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove now. Alternatively, you may use the Account Info window to remove specific messages from the server. And if the account allows web access, you may also remove messages from the server that way.
Try removing from the server messages that have already been downloaded and/or the first message not downloaded yet (i.e. the message that Mail appears to be choking on).
You may want to try to download those messages with another mail client such as Thunderbird first, to avoid losing them — and use Eudora Mailbox Cleaner to import them back into Mail afterwards if you wish. -
Basic question - trouble connecting iphone to macbook pro

I have a fairly basic one for you all. I have recently purchased a macbook pro, previously had an ibook G4.
I am connecting my iphone to the new computer and want to sync it to this machine. It is advising that once synced, all info from the old laptop will be cleared and new info added. All music, photos etc are already on the new comp so thats ok but my concern is losing my contacts..
Can anyone tell me if this is the case? I have my iphone synced with outlook contacts and i would assume they will stay on the device but what about original phone contacts including those saved to the sim?
Help appreciated!Apple really should give more options in these menus. I've had some "hold your breath and click" moments when using my iPod Touch as well.
