Security Questions from a Select List or Drop down Service Provider Edition

Hello,
Can we fetch security questions from the drop down or a select list in Service Provider Edition. We have a requirement to select multiple security questions during registration.
Please advise.

You cannot put all the values in a single parameter field so you need to select each field for each parameter...

The problem is twenty three people leaving or twenty three thousand leaving has zero impact on a carrier with over 100 million customers. And they have the lowest churn rate. So if 10,000 or 20,000 or more churn out it means little to the carrier.
If you have a real lawyer he/she will advise you that you have no case. The device was not lost or stolen by the carrier, you were not eligible for a new device, and like any business who employs large numbers of poorly trained personnel who make low wages what was told to you is not in writing. So a verbal exchange does not hold up.
In fact in Verizon's customer agreement it has such a disclaimer against any verbal exchanges so if you have that agreement in writing, go get them.
The posting on public forums and places like Face Book, Linkin, Google+ or a personal web site can open you up to a lawsuit for Dilution of Trade Name, and other offences. However if you have proof then go for it.

Crystal report Chose from List or drop down value in parameter from UDT

Hi Experts,
I had face a issue while creating a report for my client in crystal report , I had create a report and in the parameter field I want to select the value from the chose from list or drop down value from the User define table.
In parameter had written field as : Code@Select * from dbo. [@UDT] ; but in the report filled I am not able to select the value.

Create a drop down list that populates based on the selection form another drop down list.

I need to set up a drop down list that is popualated (i.e. displays a certain list of selctions in the drop down list) based on the choise the form user selects in an adjacent List
For example
There are two drop down list field sitting side by side in the form
1. Select State 2. Select Course
What I want to do is have a list of states in the first drop down list (1.Select State) and depending on which state the form user selects , the second drop down list (2.Select Course) will populate with a selction of courses available in that selected state only (i.e. it will on;y show course available in QLD if QLD is selcted).
Is this hard to do?

Question on Dynamic Select Lists and Checkboxes

Hello,
I am new to APEX, and this is my first posting, I have a question about how to implement dynamic checkboxes from a select list.
Basically I would have a select list, and based on what item is selected a set of checkboxes would appear.
I was originally using the Select and Submit property on the select box, which works fine, all of the checkboxes appear appropriately. But the thing is, APEX refreshes the page each time, and since this select box is lower in the page, the user would have to scroll all the way down to where they were before.
The main requirement is so that the user won't have to scroll down the that position where the select box is each time they select a new option.
So a work around attempt is to create a javascript that will automatically scroll down to that position on page load ...
i.e.
function pageScroll() {
window.scrollBy(0,50);
But that didn't work, because for some reason the javascript wasn't appearing.
Is there a way to either:
1. Have a dynamic checkbox appear using ajax? -or-
2. Have the javascript scrolling effect
Sorry if this is a confusing question, I was wondering if anyone else came across this issue.

Since this Select List plays such an important role on the page, why not create a side-region and put that select list there so you don't have to overwhelm the user and his 'persistence of vision ' with a page that scrolls all by itself to the 1000th line to, then , change the options ?

Branching to a page from a SELECT LIST

Simple question again ! I have a SELECT LIST, and have set up a static LOV with a couple of report names. If a report name is clicked from the list, I want to go to a particular page. I am assuming I need to put a RETURN VALUE in the static LOV, but can't find the syntax to put a branch to a new page in there. Can anyone help ? thanks
p.s does anyone know a good starting book ???

You have two report pages - we'll say that they are on Page 11 and Page 12. You want the users to select a report from a select list on Page 10.
So - You have an item on a page called "P10_REPORT" that is a "Select List with Submit". The LOV of this field is a static LOV with a source of "STATIC:Report1;11,Report2;12".
You then have an unconditional branch for Page 10. The Branch Action Page value would then be set to #P10_REPORT#. You do not need to explicitly set the page number - you can use #FIELDNAME# substitutions. Therefore, when the user selects a report, the value of P10_REPORT will be either 11 or 12. The action of selecting the report will submit the page and #P10_REPORT# will be translated to the value in the LOV for the report that the user has picked. This is then used as the page to branch to.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Condition that checks the value of an Item derived from a select list

I want to conditionally display and hide items in a region based on a select list item.
Some items will display when the select list is at the default (%null%) and others will be displayed when the select list user selects from the select list.
The display is then updated when the "SAVE" button is pressed and the page processed.
How do I test the select list item to be null. The condition looks like this;
Type: PL/SQL Expression
:P1_SELECT is null
I also tried, :P1_SELECT is not null and :P1_SELECT = '%nul%'.
The latter changed the condition to :P1_SELECT = ''
How can I test the valu in P1_SELECT?

After a long day I saw that I did not write the condition correctly. Mea culpa.

I had the problem wrong.
The issue was a second field that could have a Y or N or null. When I checked it in PL/SQL expression as
:P_YN != 'Y' and :P_SELECT is null
assuming the null condition would resolve as != 'Y' I had to do an explicit check as
(:P_YN != 'Y' or :P_YN is null) and :P_SELECT is null
That fixed it.... I like null and I hate null

How to go to a certain page based on user's selection from a select list

On the very first page of my application, I have one item - a select list. Based on what they select from the list, how do I go to the corresponding page? For instance, if the user selects 'Metal', how do I go to the Metal page?

Assuming the answer to Sergio is "yes"
First, you should make sure that the returned value from your select list is the corresponding page number or page alias for the user selection. Using your terms "Metal" should return the page number/alias of the page where you want to implement "Metal".
Then, on your first page, you can define a "Branch to Page Identify by Item". The parameter should be your select item name.

It isn't possible to change the rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions. Nobody on these boards can reset them for you.

it secures your account to be unaccessible for you! that is the highest security level!
usually should have the option to reset your account by sending instructions to an additional email address. by i don't know since when apple added this additional email address thing...
