Security questions not changing for purchases to verify iPad when I changed them online already?

I forgot my previous security questions and answers so I changed them so I could make purchases with my new iPad 1. However, whenever I purchase something it asks me to answer my security questions but they are still the old ones I do not remember the answers for... What do I do?

  • Security questions not letting me purchase anything.

Every time I try to make an iTunes purchase, it tells me my answers to my security questions are wrong. (I think I know my first teacher!) I've tried to reset my security questions, but the email address isn't my email and I can't change the email address to send it to. I have NO clue who's email it is! I don't know what to do and I don't want to call Apple Support because I'll be on hold forever and then they won't be able to help me.

Basically, you must contact Apple; ways of doing so are listed in this article. If you're desperate to make a purchase and have a credit card or unredeemed gift card available, create a new Apple ID; previous purchases and iTunes Store credit can't be transferred to it.

tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select

  • My ipad wont let me buy any thing i have about 26 dollars and it says i need to confirm my account with security questions that i for got is there a way to change them?

i have 26 dollars and want to buy an app for .99 it says i need to answer security questions but i for got the answers am i able to reset those questions or i can't

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.
