Security questions won't let me select third option

Everytime I try to download an app on my iphone I am now being asked to set three (rather inane) questions. Problem is that when I go to select my questions and answers I can do the first two no problem and then when I try and hit the third option to go and select one of the questions it won't let me select from any options as it just stays on 'choose' and won't go in to the options. Then I am stuck as if I try and select done it says I haven't filled out all the required fields. Really frustrating as I just want to get some apps. Help?

Video Options won't let me select any options!

I have been trying to sync my video to my ipod. When I get to selecting preferences, iPod, and then videos... everything is light gray. I can't select anything. It won't let me update my videos automatically or select anything else either. What do I do????!!!!!

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.

I previously used Firefox on my old Mac G4 with OS 10.3.9; the above issue existed with that system and Firefox 2.00.2 (or similar). I then "tried" to move to a G5 Mac with OS 10.5, hoping that an updated Mac Operating system and updating Firefox would solve that problem.
I'm now working on my son's MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.8, 2.4 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo; 2gb Memory; 2 gb 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM.
I still have a problem in Firefox Preferences trying to download .qif files. BofA Mortgage accounts only allow downloading of .qif files. My .qfx download works fine, but the error message is as follows:
The error message is that this is a corrupted file or one that Preview doesn't recognize.
and it is still a problem when trying to download Quicken .qif format files for our B of A mortgage.
The preferences for Firefox under File Helpers won't let me name the extension I want; instead, it CONFUSES .qif (Quicken Interchange Format) with .qtif (Quicktime Image Format) for Mac.
Therefore, when I download .qif files and try to import them to Quicken, I get a message that this is a corrupted file:

Well, in the end, I just gave up and deleted the photos, in the hope that it was something to do with them. Took some more photos and they seem to have imported without any problems at all.
Given that the same irksome photos loaded on the wife's macbook without so much as a murmur, how weird is that?
Still- all's well that ends well. Thanks for the suggestions- much appreciated.

You are correct that is what I'm talking about. I did install it.
Now I can't get the check box in the preferences security panel under the tab "general" that allows "automatically update safe downloads list" to stay checked. Each time I unlock and check the box and then relock and close, the check mark disapears. This is the problem.

I have had my iPhone 5 since October and every time I would do an update the phone would crash and I had to start from scratch every time (thank god for back ups). So I finally got the chance to switch out my phone at an apple store about a month ago. Since then though, I have not been able to sync any music on to my phone. I have tried the newest versions of software possible, tried restoring my phone from the last back up of the old phone and other various things I could think of. Even when I got to the "on this iPhone" tab, it shows me all the music that is supposed to be on there. Problem is that it is all unselected and it won't let me select them. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Grey text when you look at the content and lock symbol at the bottom of the screen simply shows that your iPod is set to "automatically update songs and playlists". . If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. One thing to be aware of with manually updating is that the iPod also has to be manually ejected before the "Do Not Disconnect" message will go away. Safely disconnect iPod

1. If you just want to run one application, control-click it and choose Open instead of changing the setting. This only needs to be done once per application.

What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.

After new software, iphone 4 asks for answers for security questions before will let me buy anything from itunes but times out before I can put them in. I've tried hundreds of times and still wont work. Guy at genius bar at Apple Store said it was due to high traffic after software update but still can't get it to work. Any ideas???? What exactly happens when you try to sign out of iCloud? In reality you delete the iCloud account (bottom of Settings.iCloud screen) from the device, not sign out.
With iOS 7 you have to enter the password for the current account to sign out.
Also, you will not be able to delete the account if the Restriction that prevents changing accounts is set (settings>general>Restrictions)

Won't let me select multiple emails while on wifi - ends up deselecting them before I can do anything

I'm running the latest update, have restarted and even reset the settings for the whole systems. It's happening on my iPad and iPhone.. When I disconnect from wifi it acts normally, but if I connect to wifi that's when it won't let me select multiple emails. I will click on multiple but it ends up deselecting them

You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Arvo has 4 variations (weights and styles) which are displayed in a pop-up submenu. Are you not seeing the submenu when you hover over the entry in the font menu? Or is that you see the submenu but can't select any of its entries?
Are you on Mac or Windows? What are your Display settings (resolution and scale, if any)? Does it matter if you bring up the font menu from the Control Strip of the Text UI?
Also, please try this: in the "Filter by name" box at the top of the font menu, type Arvo Regular or Arvo Italic. This should show you just this one face (Regular or Italic) at the top-level. Are you able to select it?

IMovie won't let me select to share to iDVD

I have a project in iMovie and when I click on 'Share' it won't let me select iDVD. I then tried to open it from iDVD but it said it wasn't shared to media browser. So I went back on iMovie and clicked on Share to media browser but the only options it has given me is 'Mobile' and 'Tiny'.
My project is for television, possibly HD. So I want it in a bigger format.
Can anyone help me please?
