Security Suite won't download, even McAfee can't fix it

I have been working with both Verizon and McAfee techs to get installation of my security suite installed after my computer was out of order for more than a 30 day period. Apparently McAfee is now handling the security suite. Verizon is able to remote access into my computer, but McAfee can't. I have spent more than 10 hours on the phone with techs and still no security suite. I spent 6 hours on calls with McAfee of and on just today alone. Tomorrow I will receive yet another call to attempt the fix........we'll see if it gets done.
Don't know if it is because it is a 64-bit. Verizon did not originally have security suite when I got the computer last year, but then they got it and it was installed. Now I have no security!!!!! Why can't they figure this out?

Check your memory and servicepack in a nutshell. Make sure that you are not running any of the 3rd party software.
I had the same problem over the weekend and was extremely disgusted! My PC is old (ancient) and the McAfee tech, after deleting my 3rd party software which was spybot (he said it was interferring with the download) told me that I needed to upgrade my PC's servicepack to 3 AND to increase the gb to 512 which I was running at 500gb. I rarely use the machine since I have a laptop and my house is wireless. This has happened since FiOS was upgraded and I have had it for a year. No problems previously. I informed the tech, not kindly, that I would not increase memory or order the servicepack for this old PC. I made him restore the spybot that he deleted and told him I will cancel the service. Today, the activation started on my PC and downloaded without a problem. Spybot is still running in the background!!!

First of all i really like to thank you for your concern on trying to help me, however i must tell you that i did a fresh install of my system wich is PeppermintOS(GNU/Linux) i don't use Windows and never will, i use to have it in the past and that OS is troublemaker, now about my problem i sadly have to tell you that none of the above solutions fix my problem, is driving me crazy, speciall because as i told you, this is a fresh new installation of my OS, so i am wondering why is doing this, it was working fine couple weeks ago and suddendly start having this behaviour and as you know email are nodays some thing we realy on, so is there any other thing i can do to fix this? do i need to give you some other info so you can guide me in the right directions? please let me know. If you don't see them on your purchased list, make sure that you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to purchase them in Settings>iTuens & App Store. Then redownload them by opening the App store app on your phone, tap Updates at the bottom, tap Purchased at the top, then tap Not on this iPhone at the top.

The iPod sees the new computer as a new iTunes library. You can only sync with one iTunes library. However, you can manage music among disfferent computers. See:

Since you have already done a restore of your iPhone, I would suggest that you now try restoring your iPhone to factory settings, set it up again and test before you restore your content. This article describes the process -

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.

There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Charter Security Suite will not install even after they removed my existing antivirus

This is important to me because I am a quadriplegic who relies on my laptop to connect me to the world outside my bed aND MY SMART TV for entertainment.I tried unsuccessfully to load Charter Security Suite, I then contacted Charter tech support on 7/30 who took me through gotoassist - He confirmed that I had no existing antivirus on my laptop. He took down my firewall and again was unsuccessful at downloading Charter Security Suite. After that time I get a warning my computer has no antivirus and my windows 7 computer is unable to get automatic updates. He told me he would report the problem and I could expect a call from 24 to 72 hours from F-SECURE.I did not receive the promised call. i don't know if he did something to my computer that made anything better, but my situation is definitely worse after uninstalluing the working version of macafee. But I am really worried after he said, "It is not a real big deal, just don't go to any weird websites!" Now that I am vulnerable, i AM VERY CONCERNED AND HAVE NOT HEARD FROM F-SECURE ABOUT RESOLVING MY ISSUES AND SUBSEQUENT CHARTER TECH SUPPORT CALLS HAVE NOT RESOLVED MY ISSUES. ps - I'm getting two red flag notices since 7/30 - one regarding my lack of antivirus, and one telling me windows could not automatically check for updates! Hi Daniel, Sorry you're having hassle with this. I'm not familiar with the Charter Suite, but I assume from what you've said, it's a rebranding of F-Secure, so the advice I am suggesting below is based on that premise. The guy who said it's "not a big deal" having no anti virus was probably just trying to put your mind at rest, but in essence, he does have a point that if you stick to known safe websites, don't open any unexpected email attachments, and don't click on any popups, banner ads, or anything else which may look suspect, you should be fairly safe, as viruses don't tend to just appear out of nowhere, without any interaction from the user. That said, while this issue is ongoing, I would suggest that you download Malwarebytes and have that running as a backup. This is compatible with F-Secure so shouldn't cause any further installation issues, and will hopefully give you some piece of mind. The next thing I would suggest is to download and run the full McAfee uninstaller, which you should find linked to on this page of Uninstallation Tools. Once you have run the tool, then run the F-Secure Uninstallation Tool to fully remove any part installations of F-Secure, and try your installation again. As I said, the above is based on the assumption that Charter is the same as F-Secure in all but name - if this is incorrect, then I apologise in advance for any mis-information, but I don't think any of the above will do any additional harm to your computer. Let us know how you get on.

Any updates or downloads won't download in Firefox. The download box appears, goes thru the motions but doesn't park anything in the file. I usually have to quite Mozilla, use Explorer for the download, such as Go to Meeting, or Adobe updates. Can't download anything with Firefox from your browser.
