Hi
Please find here with the reply
Seeburger Adapter
Seeburger EDI Adapter leverages SAP XI's Adapter Framework. This Adapter is used to perform conversion between EDI and XML format. It also provides some canned EDI layouts and the ability to build your own. It is used to transfer the EDI message via HTTP or AS2 protocols.
The most direct way of using the Seeburger adapters is to configure the BIC as a module. There is a software component from seeburger called bicmapper which will allow you to do the following:
1. define or import the inbound message metadefinition in various formats ( edifact, xml,...)
2. using a mapping create an xml variant as the output metadefinition or edifact in the other direction.
3. create a one to one mapping between input en output.
4. export the metadata in xsd or sda format for import in XI
5. generate an SDA which can be deployed in XI and used as a module.
Please go through the following links which clearly explains what you want and it also helps you in understanding the same in depth:

Use of see burger adapter replacing with File (FTP) adapter
Hi All,
My current scenario is file to proxy and want to replace file adapter with the see burger adapter.
Can any one expalin step by step procedure(after installation of see burger adapter in SDM) using sender see burger adapter with the port details?
For this do we need to write any adapter modules in integration directory?
Also pls give me clarification on 850 and 997 messages?
Regards,
Nani.Hi,
Deploy the standard seeburger mapping provided by see burger on XI .Then you need to call that mapping in the adapter module which does the conversion from EDI to XML and XML to EDI. You need to call the BIC module in the communication channel configuration and configure the module parameters like
bic- destSourceMsg = MainDocument
bic- destTargetMsg = MainDocument
bic- mappingName-something like ....See_E2X_ANSIX12_850_V4010
Once if you are able to convert the edifile to xml, then the remaining proxy configuration will be same as just for normal scenarios.
>>For this do we need to write any adapter modules in integration directory
You can use the standard BIC module or you can very well write your own adapter module to convert EDI to xml and configure it in the communication channel.
>>>Also pls give me clarification on 850 and 997 messages
850 is purchaseorder EDI document and 997 is the functional acknowledgement
The links provided by Luis will really help you in understanding the basics. Also go through the below links

Sender AS2 Configuration...

VasuHi,
I will tell you something about Seeburger Adapters in detail, Just see if it helps...
Seeburger EDI Adapter provides an EDI solution on internet via HTTP or AS2 to replace the expensive VAN. It provides some pre-built mappings for IDOC to ANSI X12(810,850,855,856 etc.,) and Idoc to EDIFACT(ORDERS,DESADV,INVOIC etc.,) and has the ability to build your own. These pre-defined mappings transform the IDOC-XML to EDI-XML format.
These transformed EDI-XML messages are then converted to EDI specific format using the Seeburger's BIC(Business Integration Converter)adapter. In addition, Seeburger provides adapters like AS2,FTP(EDI specific) and so on to route these EDI messages to external EDI Partners.
Seeburger EDI Adapter leverages SAP XI's Adapter Framework. This Adapter is used to perform conversion between EDI and XML format. It also provides some canned EDI layouts and the ability to build your own. It is used to transfer the EDI message via HTTP or AS2 protocols.

Advanced FTP Security Configuration Issues
I've run anonymous FTP servers in the past, and more recently have begun supporting an FTP server (ProFTPd) whose users are jailed to their home directories.
I have now received a request to create several FTP accounts that are:
1) Jailed to their own home directories
2) Only able to upload to an "upload" directory
3) Only able to download from a "download" directory
And
4) Create a user account that can manage all the files in the aforementioned jails
Now, I can do this quite easily on a MS Windows system, but I really don't want to build a whole new server just for these few users.
It seems to me that traditional UNIX security doesn't seem to be granular enough to support this request. If this is not correct, could someone help me with the security structure required?
Or perhaps RBAC can help me here?
Also, based on a previous post, I am looking into "setfacl".
Thanks in advance,
M. McCabeSolaris 9 and 10 include ftpconfig(1M) which does all that fiddly copying for you. You just need to create the accounts and home dirs. See "System admin guide: Network services" Chapter 28 and/or Sun doc #216460 "How do I configure ftp anonymous, guest and "chroot" user access in Solaris[TM]? ".
"The ftpconfig script is used to copy all necessary system files to the home directory. When the
guest user and the guest's home directory already exist, the ftpconfig script updates the area
with the current system files." -

** Seeburger AS2 Configuration in the Sender Side
Hi friends,
We are trying to receive Purchase Order from the Customer using Seeburger AS2 adapter. The customer is sending the PO to Inovis a solution provider and we need to receive this documents from Inovis. We need to configure AS2 adapter to receive the PO from Inovis.
How to configure AS2 adapter ?
Kindly reply friends.
Thanking youhi
I will give you the normal flow how the things works.
You need to deployee the seeburger conversion module on XI. Now in the AS2 adapter this module wil be called and which will does the conversion of EDI to XML.
In the AS2 module parameter tab you need to write the below entry.
Process Sequence :
localejbs/callBicXIRaBean bic
Module Configuration :
bic mappingName See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A
AS2 adapter is used for B2B scenario so for this case you need to use the party concept and you need to maintain the identifier information of Partner which will going to send the EDI file to XI.
please look in to this links u will come to know about seeburger adapter.

FTPS: scenario configuration
hi gurus....
now i am able to confure the FTP server as mentioned in the blog "Along came a File Adapter, Mr. 'FTP' and Rest of the Gang By Shabarish Vijayakumar", it is working fine.
but now i want to work on FTPS configuration. is it sufficieant to work?, if it is so, how can i proceed with this existing one for FTPS ?, or else anything is required..?
please help me regarding this.....
thanks,
KumarHi,
Not every FTP server supports FTPS and many that do require a configuration change to activate the FTPS protocol extension. Contact your FTP server software vendor for detailed information.
The File Adapter checks whether a trusted certificate chain exists for the X.509 certificate of the FTP server it is connecting to. A certificate chain is considered trusted if the chain is valid and at least one of its certificates is directly trusted. If the certificate chain is untrusted, the above exception is thrown. To configure a single certificate or a certification authority's CA certificate as directly trusted, add the respective X.509 certificate to the "Trusted CAs" view of the "Key Storage" service in the SAP J2EE Visual Administrator. In most cases, this will be the CA certificate that was used to sign the server certificate.

I remembering setting a username and password for FTP transfers when I originally installed my WCS way back when. Now that the images are getting increasingly larger and the controllers support FTP transfers, I would like to begin using FTP to upgrade code. Unfortunately, I can not remember the credentials I originally supplied. Does anyone know how I can either recover those credentials or change them to new ones?
The user id is ftp-user and the password is typically your root password unless you've changed it. The doc below has instructions on how to change it in WCS v4, but I believe it's the same for current versions.

After installing GRC 5.3-SPM-Not able to see all features in configuration
Hello Experts,
We have installed GRC-5.3 Superuser Privilege Management in JAVA standalone system and when we trying to configure we are not able to see the all features in configuration tab.
We have created a user and assigned all roles starting with FF then tried login to
http://<hostname>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/grc~ffappcomp/Firefighter
I can able to login successfully and when I go into configuration tab I cannot see all features, Could you please help me out.
Thanks & Regards,
NagarajuDear Nagaraju,
You may be seeing only one "Connectors" in configuration tab in SPM. If it is so, then you are not missing anything here. It is the only configuration we need to do in SPM at java side.
If it is not showing, that means you have missed some action to assign FireFIghter Role in SPM. Check it out.

It seems like Dreamweaver handles connection problems very
poorly when I am trying to upload something and the operation
stalls. I'll click "cancel", but the FTP client will never cancel -
I'll just get a few repeated messages like "Operation timed out.
Cancelling...", and I can never get the client to break away from
the operation so I can manually try something else.
Nor can I even close the program. A lot of times I'll have to
manually kill Dreamweaver via Task Manager and restart.
Also is there a way to see a log for anything other than the
most recent FTP operation? Sometimes I want to see what Dreamweaver
has been up to over a longer period, but it only shows the most
recent operation.Eliot
I was having a FTP problem with Dreamweaver CS4 on my Mac
where some sites would connect and some wouldn't, I just couldn't
solve it. I thought it was my hosting company with corrupt
permissions on their server.
I got on to Adobe technical and luckily they ran me through a
sequence which solved it. It did mean uninstalling the whole of my
CS4 Design Premium and reinstalling under root access.
Here's the process a tech operator gave me, assuming you're
running on a Mac, if not I guess a lot of this could still work on
a PC with a parallel app. Good luck.
I would suggest backing up all of your site information,
then uninstalling Web Premium CS4 using the following steps:
1 Disable Time Machine if you have it running.
2. Navigate to the following folder:
Applications/Utilities/Adobe
Installers
3. Run the uninstaller for Design Premium CS4.
Once the software has been removed, please download and
execute the Adobe CS4 Clean Script. This will remove any remnants
of the CS4
applications on your computer. You can download the script
from the
following location online:
http://www.adobe.com/go/kb406241
After running the Clean Script, please verify that all of the
CS4
applications are no longer present in your Applications
folder.
Next, install Design Premium CS4 in the root user account.
Unless the
operating system is damaged, this should resolve any
permissions issue that might arise installing the software in your
existing user account as the root user has full read/write
privileges. To enable and enter the root user account, please
perform the following steps:
1. From the Finder's Go menu, choose Utilities.
2. Open Directory Utility.
3. Click the lock in the Directory Utility window.
4. Enter an administrator account name and password, then
click OK.
5. Choose Enable Root User from the Edit menu.
6. Enter the root password you wish to use in both the
Password and
Verify fields, then click OK.
Once you have installed the software, please launch one of
the point
products and then update the Design Premium Suite before
logging out of the root user account and disabling it.
At this point you may also enable Time Machine again.
