SEEBURGER Adapter Installation

Hi,
We are installing SEEBURGER Adapter for this below 3 files required.
I searched in sap market place and other forms i am not able to find these files.
SeeXIBaseTools.sca
SeeXIExtendedTools.sca
SeeXISolutionIdModule.ear
Please help the down load path for file.

If I am not mistaken you have to buy Seeburger adapters either from SAP or Seeburger. If you have bought it should show up on SAP Marketplace under "My Company's Application Components" in SAP Software Download Center. Otherwise talk to the account manager with whom the company worked for licensing terms.

To import the Seeburger adapters, follow the instructions in the Master Installation guide and the individual guides for each of the adapters. These are available with the Seeburger software downloads.
Regarding the MDM adapter, this is the wrong forum for that question. Try the MDM forum (but first, try searching the forum as this is a very basic question).

Seeburger Adapter

Hi all,
I have installed a generic seeburger FTP adapter, but I dont have any VAN connectivity at present. Can I convert the EDI ANSI X12 format to xml with this installation or it requires VAN connectivity to do this.
In this case do we require the BIC mapper? if so how to work with BIC mapper?
In the communication channel, I am able to see the installed Seeburger FTP adapter but it does not show the transport and message protocol. Is this related to the Installation/setup of VAN connection.

BIC can convert outbound invoices from XML format (used in SAP XI) to an EDIFACT invoice. The conversion can be executed before the message is transmitted to the business partner. The other way around, once an EDIFACT message has been received from the business partner, it must first be converted to XML format, which is the format SAP XI supports.
The most direct way of using the Seeburger adapters is to configure the BIC as a module. BIC will allow you to do the following
Once you install BIC, you need to do Import the Generator Mappings into the Project Explorer of BIC MappingDesigner.
You can find Generator Mappings as a ZIP file in the following location <BICMappingDesignerInstallationDirectory>\user\bicmd\Exchange and select the file prj_GeneratorMappings.zip.bicmd.
In MappingDesigner select File Import Generator Mappings Zip File prj_GeneratorMappings.zip.bicmd Clik on Add and OK.
Once Import is done you can see Generator Mappings in BIC Mapping Designer.

Seeburger AS2 installation

Hi,
We have to install Seeburger AS2 adapter in PI 7.3. So, In order to install it First do we need to install Seeburger base components and later the AS2 adapter. Can you please suggest on this. I want to know like the sca files which are seeburger base components
1)SeeBaseToolsPI.sca
2)SeeExtendedToolsPI.sca
3)SeeModuleCollectionPI.sca
4)SeeSolutionIdModulePI-as2.sca
have to be deployed first using JSPM with the option Single Support Packages and Patches (advanced use).
and next AS2AdapterPI.sca using JSPM.
Can anybody suggest on this.

Do you have the Seeburger Master Installation Guide? This comes with the software and documents all the necessary steps for the installation process.
1) Install the SEEBURGER Software Component Version (import tpz file into the ESR)
2) Install the SEEBURGER Communication Service (this is part of SeeBaseToolsPI.sca) via JSPM
3) Install the SEEBURGER Tools Sets (these are the 2 base components SeeBaseToolsPI.sca and SeeExtendedToolsPI.sca)
4) Install the adapters and any additional modules you require
SeeBaseToolsPI.sca and SeeExtendedToolsPI.sca must be installed first. Then the adapters. I'm not sure of the exact option in JSPM that you must chose but I think it is the Single Support Packages and Patches (advanced use).

Seeburger Adapter issue

Hi,
when we try to upload multiple file into destination server. We are receiving a error as handshake failure.
We are working on HA clustered enviornment.
The error is basically happen, when muti-session pull and push on the
destination server, the server will reject the connection.
We tried in Dev, single node server architecture, which works fine for
muti-file transaction,but getting error traffic for muti-file failed for QA environment.
I assume it is the crusting server setup in QA that cause the problem. So
do you have any idea of how to disable cluster nodes only for seeburger FTP
adapter?

I also have a similar issue.
I have two communication channels configured: one communication channel which is a VAN sender and one communication channel is a VAN receiver (both are FTP adapters from Seeburger). From the configuration guide of the Seeburger FTP/VAN adapter, I understand that IE/FTP interfaces only allows for a single connection for a single mailbox. The documentation refers the users to the "Seeburger Master Installation Guide" but I can't find any relevant details there.
My XI environment has two server nodes used to connect to the VAN. Consequently, I ran into problems with "duplication session" errors. I am currently experimenting with Resource Management available from the Seeburger Workbench, in particular, setting up resources and assignments to ensure that only one session is connected to the VAN at any one time. However, I am struggling with how the resource should be created/configured (logical/logical choice, # of channels (total), # of channels (incoming)) and how they should be assigned. Please advise on what is the proper setup in the context of my environment.

SeeBurger Adapter PostInstallation

Hi guys,
I'm back with another cool doubt...
We're using SeeBurger AS2 Adapter and we've followed every installation step described in the corresponding manuals.
I'd like to try a short example, sending a test message to a partner just to check if the installation is working properly. However, I've bumped at the point when I was creating the sender communication channel. When trying to select the AS2 Adapter, there's no signal of it. I can only get all the SAP BASIS Adapters (RFC, Idoc, etc...) list displayed, no signal of AS2.
So I thought, let me check if the corresponding SWCV is correctly installed.
After digging up on SLD I've found the corresponding:
     Installed Software Component AS2Adapter and
     Installed Support Package: AS2Adapter
However, there was something that caught my eye. They both have version '0'. That seemed a bit odd, since evey component has the corresponding version after the installation. Can any of you guys who worked with the Seeburger Adapter check if this setting is alright? Can you guys check your SLD SWCV?
If you think there's something missing and the SLD setting has nothing to do with it, please give me an idea....

Another Question:
The imported .tpz in the IntegrationRepository 'SEEBURGER_EDI_ADAPTER' responsible for the corresponding AS2 Adapter which I'm trying to use in the IntegrationDirectory corresponds to a Software Component Version with a key from the SLD where we can check the associated GUID.
Well, I was expecting to see this SWCV in the SLD, but nothing...I've searched all the generated GUIDS in the SLD from ContentMaintenance and there's not there...
Am I missing any activation?

          As far as the version is concerned it has nothing to do with the functioning of that particular SWC in SLD.....its not a mandatory requirement........u can simply import the SWCV in the
Integration Repository->Tools->Transfer from System Landscape Director->Import Software Component Versions... and carry on with your work...
No activation as such is needed.....

SeeBurger and Iway are 2 separate vendors providing Adapters to Integrate XI with various applications!

BIC is mapping tool which converts EDIFACT to EDI_XML.
You will be accepting EDI flat file i.e. csv file and using BIC you will map it 1:1 mapping ....this flat file will be converted into EDI_XML after mapping.

We are evaluating XI for ANSI X12 EDI , Have some EDI Quesitions using SEEBurger Adapter.
1) Does SEEBurger Adpater has ANSI X12 Enveloping and De-Enveloping capabilities ??? If Yes,how this is configured /Developed.
2) Does SEEBurger Adapter has capability of generating sequential ISA control numbers by Trading Partner ??? If Yes,how this is configured /Developed.
3) Can It perform EDI Structure validation based on the EDI standard rules (For eg: Looping structures, Element qualifier restriction list .....)

Seeburger is a tool which will conver any type of standard EDI format into XML.
All standard EDi mappings are predefined in seburger,we have to install in XI Server and use that standard mappings.

EDI TRADACOM through Seeburger Adapter into PI

Has anybody configured communication channel in PI using Seeburger Adapter to convert EDI TRADACOM into xml ?
Is there a useful tutorial to have a look at ?

Well, there is nothing specific avauilable for TRADACOM. TRADACOM is just a type of format as we have EDIFACT OR X12. You can search for EDIFACT related articles/blogs on SCN (there are many). The only thing you then need is to use TRADACOM related mapping name in BIC module wherever you see EDIFACT mapping name.
One more thing, for using TRADACOM, there is a separate licence where Seeburger provides the TRADACOM related SWC with all the formats. So talk to Seeburger about this as well.

Seeburger Adapter Module Error

I have a scenario orders idoc to x12,I have done bic maaping & deployed sda file to SDM.And the paramater i have defined at the adapter module

Error in Oubound message using Seeburger Adapter

Hi,
I'm getting this error on the Adapter engine when trying to generate an outbound EDI message with Seeburger adapter:
2007-01-24 13:33:29      Error      Unable to forward message to JCA adapter. Reason:
Fatal exception: com.seeburger.xi.connector.queue.QueueEntryRejectedException:
Entry rejected due to error in resource management: null, Entry rejected due to
error in resource management: null

javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception:
com.seeburger.xi.connector.queue.QueueEntryRejectedException: Entry rejected due

Any ideas?

I think there is some problem in invoking the seeburger adapter. Have you installed the adapter? Also after installing you have to import the metadata. Check this document for further help:
