** Seeburger AS2 Configuration in the Sender Side

Hi friends,
We are trying to receive Purchase Order from the Customer using Seeburger AS2 adapter. The customer is sending the PO to Inovis a solution provider and we need to receive this documents from Inovis.  We need to configure AS2 adapter to receive the PO from Inovis.
How to configure AS2 adapter ?
Kindly reply friends.
Thanking you

hi
I will give you the normal flow how the things works.
You need to deployee the seeburger conversion module on XI. Now in the AS2 adapter this module wil be called and which will does the conversion of EDI to XML.
In the AS2 module parameter tab you need to write the below entry.
Process Sequence :
localejbs/callBicXIRaBean bic
Module Configuration :
bic mappingName See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A
AS2 adapter is used for B2B scenario so for this case you need to use the party concept and you need to maintain the identifier information of Partner which will going to send the EDI file to XI.
please look in to this links u will come to know about seeburger adapter.

    Hi Avinash - I don't think that is an error instead it just displays your  system configuration.

    Are you facing any issues?

  • Load Balancing on two server nodes at the sender side...

    Hi Experts,
    I am sending a huge message (this message is being splitted into multiple messages depending on the load and zipped, this whole process of splitting and zipping is done by the scripts) zipped from sender side , when I am monitoring in message monitoring tool I found that all the load is on one server node and other server node is free as we have two server nodes , how to distribute the message equally between these two nodes.
    The same Load balancing is working properly at the receiver end (load is getting distributed between two server nodes). Not sure why this is not the case at the sender side.
    Please throw some light on this issue.
    Thanks a lot for your kind help in advance.

  • Testing IDOC from the sender side

    The scenario is IDOC - File.
    ALE configuration steps are done from R3 end
    in XI, I hav created Port, RFC destination
    IR, ID activated succesfully
    I have to send an IDOC and test the scenario (DEBMAS) and create and change sold to party, ship to party details as test
    Please suggest me the steps I need to perform to test my scenario
    regards,
    Nikhil.

    Hi nikhil,
    let me try for u...
    <b>U have to trigger DEBMAS from R/3...</b>
    There are two ways u can trigger the IDocs
    <b>1st way</b>
    1)Go to transaction we19 for triggering the idocs
    2)Under basic type give DE* and press F4 , u will get all the basic type IDOcs that start with DE.Now select the Idoc DEBMAS(u will definitely find it)
    Now execute/F8.
    After executing choose option Standard outbound processing option then click OK button.The idoc will be sent to the integration server .U will see an pop-up showing that „IDoc is sent successfully for outbound processing“.
    <b>2nd Way</b>
    USING EXTING IDOCS:
    Go to transaction we02/we05 to see any existing Idocs for DEBMAS.Copy any one of the  Idoc number
    Now go to transaction WE19 and choose  Existing Idoc option.GIve the Idoc No u have copied.After executing choose option Standard outbound processing option then click OK button.The idoc will be sent to the integration server .U will see an pop-up showing that „IDoc is sent successfully for outbound processing“.
    hope ...it will help u......

  • Tax collected at source(TCS) configuration from the FI side

    Hi,
    We are implementing the tax collected at source. We have configured the following steps:
       1. Define Withholding Tax key (206C)
       2. Define Withholding Tax type
       3. Create the access sequence for withholding for TCS in SD
    (Copy the existing access sequence J1AW and create the new access sequence)
       4. Create condition types corresponding to Tax collected at Source in SD
       5. Assign withholding tax types to SD condition types
       6. Define withholding tax codes
       7. Assign GL accounts for withholding tax types
       8. Add TCS conditions in pricing procedure
       9. creating non statistical new condition types and added them to the SD pricing procedure.
      10.Create the account keys for non statistical condition types and assign them in the pricing procedure.
      11. assign the G/L accounts for the new account keys in VKOA.
    after this when we try to post the invoice we get the error as "posting keys are missing for the transaction JT1" (JT1 is our account key).
    To solve this error we have made the configuration for this account key in OBCN and then in OB40 but after that we are getting the error as tax code is not defined in TAXINN procedure.
    Please guide if we need to create the  new tax codes in FTXP for this or we need to make any changes in tax procedure for TCS??
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Outbound Seeburger AS2 setup problem

    Hello,
    I am trying to setup Seeburger AS2 adapter in the way that I can post documents from our SAP system to the external server that is sitting in the internet. I was following the SAPXI30_AS2Adapter.pdf guide but it is still not working. When I initiate the posting in SAP it goes correctly to XI, XI correctly process the IDOC and maps it to XML document and pass it to AS2 adapter. But here it fails. In adapter monitoring I can see this error message:
    Description: AS2 Adapter failure
    Details: Outbound configuration error: Sender configuration incomplete - perhaps AS2ID missing..[8/31/06 9:23 AM]
    ConnectionId: null-allianceTestingServer_Party >> PartnerAddressId: allianceTestingServer_Party >> Transferred: 0/0 >> Error type: pre plugin call failed >> Error date: 1157030604769 >> Description: [8/31/06 9:23 AM]
    2006/08/31 - 09:28:28:40
    Retryable fault in 'Channel:allianceTestingServer_AS2_outbound'.
    I think I've setup everything correctly so no idea where can be the problem. It is saying that I probably do not have AS2ID setup but it is either not true or I do not know how to do it.
    Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Martin
    Solved on my own:
    I really didn't have sender configuration completed. I've created new Party, configured it as AS2, created AS2ID for it etc. and then forced it as a sender in the Receiver Agreement.

    Hi Anoop!
    Yes, we use it on receiver side.
    ModuleProcessorExitbean exists, so it should be ok.
    What I'm not sure about is the thing with identifiers..
    In Party (let's call it X) - Identifiers, we have default agency http://sap.com/xi/XI, scheme XIParty and name X.
    What values should be there for Seeburger?
    We have Agency: Seeburger, Scheme: AS2ID; Name: X.
    Is it correct?
    We also received some 9 char long number - probably some ID to adapter(?). Any idea, if it is necessary and where to use it?
    Is it necessary to configure identifier seeburger also in Identifiers tab of Receiver communication channel? Or we can leave it empty (both- sender, receiver)?
    We use this in B2B scenario, of course: Target system is party, but we use our R/3 as Business System w/o party. Is it ok, or do we laso have to "be" as Party in our configuration scenario?
    A lot of questions, but points will be awarded 4 sure
    Thanx!
    Peter

  • Seeburger AS2 Adapter:  Receiving multiple messages

    Hi guys,
    I'm having some trouble using AS2 Adapter for receiving multiple messages. The problem is really similar to Peter's problem.
    Seebuger AS2 adapter for XI as sender for multiple messages
    I have it configured for one scenario and it's working fine. The problem is when I'm trying to receive other messages for the same Party but different services. Meaning, I've one Party(example BMW) and several services (BMW_DE, BMW_USA, etc). I'm able to receive messages from service BMW_DE but when configuring BMW_USA I'm getting HTTP 403 Forbidden.
    This error may have different reasons:
    a) You or your partner has entered an incorrect AS2 ID for one of the involved parties.
    b) A valid sender agreement is missing.
    c) There are more then one AS2 sender agreements with the same sender AND receiver party.
    d) The corresponding inbound channel is set to inactive.
    And the problem is that there are two sender agreements. Although the services are different, XI is not able to find the correct sender agreement to be used. After deleting the second second agreement, I'm able to send the  respective message....
    Can anyone give me a hint on how to solve this problem?

    Hi,
    this is done by different AS2 subjects. The sender agreement is selected based on this. So create separate AS2 receiver adapters for every message you need and put there different message subjects.
    So if you'll have 3 AS2 receiver channels with subjects:
    MessageType1_DE
    MessageType1_US
    the AS2 adapter will work like following:
    first it tries to find an exact message subject, if it is found, message is "assigned" to this sender agreement. If no exact message matches the subject, then wildcards are used. (this mechanism is described in the Seeburger AS2 guide).
    If you are getting 403 HTTP code, there may be also problem with authentication certificates.
    Another problem may be, you don't have configured AS2 receiver channel for current subject.
    Does this help you? Or you meant it another way?

  • Seeburger AS2 Certificates updates

    Dear Experts,
    We're having a problem to add in new certificates from our partner. For your info we're using Seeburger AS2 connect and no one knows how to update the certificates including our vendors. Please let me know how to update the certificates. Thank you

    Hi,
    if you are on PI 7.1x go to Netweaver Administrator (http://server:port/nwa)
    Then go to Configuration Management -->  Security --> Certificates and Keys
    There you shold find several Key Stores ("Key Storage Views")
    Select the Keystore which holds the AS2 certificates.
    If you are not sure which one is the correct one, check your Sender/Receiver Agreements in the Integration Directory.
    The certificates that you specified as TRUSTED\<keystore>\certificate-name in your AS2 configuration are the ones you have to change.
    In the "Key Storage View Details" you can add, modify, delete,... the certificates.

  • Regarding Seeburger AS2 Adapter

    Hi,
    Wheni go thru my adapters list i didn't find Seeburger AS2 adapter in the list, but my client wants to use the Seeburger AS2 adapter for their scenario's. What should i do in order use the Seeburger AS2 adapter. Is it a third party adapter? do we need to get any license from SAP to use this adapter. Or is there any equivalent adapter available in XI for seeburger AS2 adapter. Kindly suggest
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi,
    Yes your understanding is right. Normally for B2B the customer sends data over WAN or through Mailbox and ususally the data is encrypted using digital certificate for security reasons.
    For B2B the data is send in EDI format (EDIFACT,TRADACOM,INHOUSE and many more) and the seeburger adapters like AS2,X400,OFTPS are used to convert the EDI format to XML and viceversa..

  • Seeburger AS2 using bpm

    Hi guys,
    I'd like to place a question to those who have already worked with the seeBurger AS2 Adapter.
    The thing is, have you thought of using bpm with the AS2 Adapter?
    My view is, you've got a huge restriction which is, you don't know what kind of message you're sending. You don't know if it's a XML file, a text,
    an image, a pdf, whatever... So unless you know that you're sending a text file or an xml, you shouldn't use bpm, right? Since you can't create
    the corresponding interfaces.
    There's another point, if you use a File Adapter for sending the corresponding file, in this case you could build the message interface using content conversion, but
    if you're receiving your message through the AS2 channel there's no way for handling this message in the IR right?
    The third point is, is it worth using bpm in this scenarios, considering the bpm weak performance?
    Using your experience, can you give me your insights about this?
    Thanks guys

    Hi,
    I'd say you can't work with other types then XML using the Seeburger AS2 in XI. (w/o further development)
    BPM is adapter independent (to be more precise: BPM as a component has nothing to do with adapters), so there is no restriction of using it. It just worx with XML messages. And using BPM is as worth as using it with other adapter types - depends on your requirements.
    I don't understand this:
    "There's another point, if you use a File Adapter for sending the corresponding file, in this case you could build the message interface using content conversion, but
    if you're receiving your message through the AS2 channel there's no way for handling this message in the IR right?"
    You mean, if you receive let's say .csv file instead of XML?

  • Same file name using JMS adapter on sender side.

    Hi Friends,
    I got a requirement to capture file name using JMS adapter on the sender side.
    Can some one help me in resolving this issue.
    Regards,
    Jeevan.

    Hi ,
    You can use Dynamic Configuration in mapping.
    Create a UDF with input as file name and copy/paste this code
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    //conf.removeAll();
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    //String filename= conf.get(key);
    conf.put(key, fileName);
    key= null;
    return fileName;
    Thanks.

  • Flat file name from Sender Side Dynamically into subject of Receiver Mail

    Hi All,
             I am Using a file to Mail Scenario, My requirement is to get dynamically the file name from flat file of the Sender Side into Subject of Receiver Mail Adapter and attachment of file from the Sender Side. Can anyone help me out.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi....
              You can write udf in the message mapping to get the Dynamic file name and map that to the subject of the receiver mail.
      DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) param.get(
              StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey KEY_FILENAME = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
          // read value
          String Filename = conf.get(KEY_FILENAME);
