Seeburger Mappings for ANSIX12 4030

Hi,
Does any one know, whether seeburger will provide standard mappings for ANSI X12 4030 version. I could see mappings only for 4010, there are no mappings given for 4030.

Hi,
Document suggests that wee need to extend it ..
For implementation of further EDI messages on SAP XI in combination with the SEEBURGER EDI
Adapters following steps are required:
Import the EDI message structure and EDI XML message structure to SEEBURGER Mapping Designer Import xsd to SAP XI Repository as external definition Create the format mappings with SEEBURGER Mapping Designer tool by using the SEEBURGER Generator mappings that are delivered within that tool. We recommend to use the following naming conventions <b>See_E2X(X2E)_<message type>_<version> (see the Content Guide)</b> Import all format mappings to one project in SEEBURGER Mapping Designer Create user specific deploy file mapping_user.sda
refer catalog and find message type.

  • How to use Value Mappings for simple translations?

    Hello,
I want to use Value Mappings for simple translations in mappings, e.g. from IDoc to Inhouse structures.
    For example unit of quantity:
    IDOC    -->    INHOUSE
    PCE               P
    ABC               A
How can I use Value Mapping for this? What should be used as Agency, what should be used for Scheme? What about groups? I tried the following: I created a new Value Mapping in Integration Directory:
    - Source Agency: DELVRY05
    - Source Scheme: MENEE (IDoc field name)
    - Target Acency: INHOUSE_DESADV (Name of structure)
    - Target scheme: UNIT (Name of field)
Then, in the table, I added several lines for translating PCE to P and ABC to A and so on. But I have to define a group name for each line. I used INHOUSE. But than I get one INHOUSE group for each line.
This seems very complicated for simple translations from A to B. I don't want to use FixValue in Message mappings.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Christoph

    Hello,
@pavan kumar: Thanks, but I know all Blogs about Value Mappings. That does not help me. And I refer to PI 7.1.
Lets get it very simple: I want to have exactly the same functionality of "FixValues" as ValueMappings. In 7.1, I need to define a Group for every row / line in the conversion table (e.g. for units of measurement conversion between IDoc and FlatFile). That does not make sense for me, as the Group is always the same, e.g. "Unit of measurement". So I will get dozens of same groups called "Unit of measurement".
I don't really understand the concept of Groups. Maybe this is just not appropiate for my intenses? Maybe the Group has to be defined as one specific value of Unit of measurement, e.g. "pieces"?

  • Seeburger Adpater for PI with EhP

    Hi,
Does anyone know whats the correct Seeburger version or the CD set number (for example: 51038606 & 51038611) for PI 7.1 with EhP 1 SPS 05?
I'm unable to open the OSS Note 890721, to check the right version or CD set number for Seeburger adapter for PI 7.1 EhP 1. If someone could provide me the details of the note, that will be a great help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sumant.

For PI 7.1 EhP1 also called as PI 7.11, you may search for "NW711-PI-A AS2 SEEB 2.1" version on Marketplace. There are different CDs for different adapters. e.g 51038606 is for AS2 adapter.
The note you mentioned is under rework by SAP and therefore coudn't be checked.

  • Tuning OWB 10g Mappings for fast loading

    Hi,
What are the various techniques in which I can tune my OWB mappings for optimized performance?
Is it a good idea to increase my commit frequency from 1000 to say 25,000 to reduce I/O?
What other parameters could be important to the fast loading of data?
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Harshad Borgaonkar

If you say loading, do you mean inserting?
If so, I gather from the fact that for you the commit frequency is relevant, that you are not using set-based loading, which is the fastest way to load records. Any reason why you don't use set-based loading, or didn't you know that the commit frequency is irrelevant in that case?
    Kind regards,
    Jaap.

  • Is it possible to add new mappings for SRM?

I am looking to replicate some of the "Request for Quotation" creation/management functionality from SRM in a custom application (for business/technical/ease-of-use reasons) and send the created RFQs over to SAP SRM. Can I use XI to send RFQs into SRM (I know I can retrieve them using XI for custom supplier apps, but can I send them in as well)?
While reviewing the EBP mappings in Integration Builder, I see there is a mapping for RequestForQuotation_Create_Out, but not for RequestForQuotation_Create_In. Is it possible to add this mapping? Or in other words - <b>is it possible to create new mappings for SRM in XI that are in addition to the standard mappings that are shipped with SRM/XI? </b>
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi Osvaldo,
<i>I see there is a mapping for RequestForQuotation_Create_Out</i> --> I dont think you can find a mapping for the same. RequestForQuotation_Create_Out should be the name of the interface(outbound). What it means is you can have your own custom defined inbound interface and perform the mapping on your own in a new SWC. Pls update me if you can see a mapping for the same. Also you can have yor own interfaces and mapping in your SWC apart from the standard as suggested by Bhavesh and Abhy.
Take care while desingning the interface for SRM part coz SRM has the ability to output in XML format. Check this functionality first and start designing your interface.
Update us if you have more querries.
    Regards,
    Jai Shankar.

  • Seeburger problem for Custom Mappings..!!!

    Hi All,
File to Idoc using seeburger adapters(BIc & split)
When I use standard mapping (Which starts with See_.. )in seeburger splitter configuration, ,the scenario is working perfectly. The idoc is posting in R/3 and Funcack is sending to Partner.
But When I do for customised mappings (Like the ones which we will develop in BIC and deploy into XI and we will use the mapping name like E2X_DT_INVOICE).. then its not working.
I tried by keeping custom mappings (E2X_DT_ORDERS) in splitter configuration. But it didn’t work.. !!
Can anyone please tell the changes what I need to do in the modules or in splitter configuration..??
Here is the Module parameters which i mentioned in sender File adapter.
    localejbs/SeeClassifier            C
    localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean   BIC
    localejbs/Seeburger/MessageSplitter   S
    C         attID                classifierAtt
    C         destSourceMsg        MainDocument
    C         showInAuditLog       true
    BIC       classifierAttID          classifierAtt
    BIC       destSourceMsg       MainDocument
    BIC       destTargetMsg         MainDocument
    BIC       mappingName           AUTO
    BIC       split                          true
    1. mappingName I kept as “AUTO” for standard mappings..
I need to change anything here for Custom Mappings???
    2. I didn’t mention anything here in split adapter in modules.
Did I need to mention anything here when we do for custom mappings??
Kindly let me know anyone has idea on this.
    Thanks&Regards
    Seema.

You will also have to create this mapping on the BIC site.
check the documentation on the classifier and functional acknowledgements
    Seeburger Classifier with customer mappings.
In the manual Functional Acknowledgement For SAP XI3.0, Configuration Guide this is described. I add a description of how I have configured it at another customer
In the Sender Communication Channel the classifier modules are configured (localejbs/SeeClassifier). This module expects some parameters:
    Parameter               Value
    attID                    ClassifierAtt
classifierMappingID          XXXX (Choose something for XXXX)
    destSourcMsg               MainDocument
    showInAuditLog          true
The parameter “mappingName” of module localejbs/Seeburger/CallBicXIRaBean should be set to AUTO otherwise the classifier functionality won’t work.
In the BIC Mapping Designer now you have to create a program called Edifact_XXXX (have a look at page 40 of the manual)
I generated a mapping called Edifact_XXXX from the message Edifact_service with the programs “CreateXMLMessage”, “CreateMappingXMLToEdi”, “CreateMappingEdiToXML”.
After this I adjusted the generated program in the UNH segment I added the following rules:
    if name$ = "See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96B"
       copy "E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96B" to name$;
    endif
With this code you change the mapping name that is called in the BIC to convert the EDIFACT message to XML. Or other functionalities.
The mapping that you use here should be the same as configured in the Splitter of the Seeburger FrontEnd
    Screen prints:
    Configuration of Sender Communication Channel
    BIC MD: Generation programs
BIC MD: New generated mapping Edifact_xxxx from message Edifact_Service
BIC MD:Adjustment in mapping program Edifact_XXXX
    Seeburger FrontEnd Splitter configuration

  • Question on seeburger mappings

Iam going to work on seeburger, at the moment we have installed seeburger on PI7.11
We have some vendors who woukd initiate the EDI transactions, we would be getting a request in EDI format for wchch we need to respond back.
I have a little ide that EDI message  needs to be converted EDI XML  and then it needs to be mapped with in PI to SAP understandable format.
Could somebody guide me what I need to in Seeburger BIC and how can I get them in Integration Repository,
What purpose we need to use AS2 and how can it be set up in PI

    Hi Rajesh
Here is what documentation says, it did not tell  to use  CreateMappingEdiToXML to generate the mapping.
Creating New Mappings (Except XML Sources)
(Covers all types except XML as source type)
    1. Click in the Project Explorer in a desired project on any mapping or on the Mappings node.
    2. Then open the context menu with a right-mouse-click and choose New | Mapping, or click on the
second icon in the tool bar.
The Property panel for a mapping is opened and offers now the possibility to choose the Source and
Destination Message format for the new mapping. Choosing the involved messages has the effect that
also a suggestive and unique (in the current project) name for the new mapping is created, which can
be accepted, or modified by the user. Not commonly used characters should be avoided for mapping
    names.
    3. Confirm the settings, close the Property panel, and now the new created mapping can be opened
as explained in the previous section.
To edit or create mapping code, just select a record in the Source message. Expand the sub nodes
(sub records) eventually with a click on +. The written code in the Mapping Editor (record program) is
now automatically associated with a certain record.
When a conversion is performed, the converter will read the source file sequentially. For every found
record the corresponding record program will be executed. This happens automatically multiple times,
if the record is found more than once u2013 an explicitly loop programming is not necessary.
Editing the mapping code is quite convenient u2013 a Source field can be dragged and dropped on a
Destination field. The corresponding mapping code appears instantly in the Mapping Editor
I could not see the fields needed when I see the ANSI X12 structure, so I did not drag & drop on any field.
Do I still do any thing with CreateMappingEdiToXML to generate the mapping.

  • Multi-mappings for IDoc receiver

    Hi ALL,
Im working on a scenario in which multiple purchase orders are selected from a database and i want to post an idoc for each purchase order.
Im using JDBC and IDOC adapters respectively.
I tried to split the source message using Multi-mapping (Enhanced Interface Determination), but according to SAP Documentation, you cannot use IDOC adapter in case of multi-mappings.
Is there a way to do this?

  • OCI Mappings for images

    Hi everyone,
There is a query regarding OCI mapping. How do we get to see the images and some other fields in the SRM even when we dont manually nor by default get the images to be mapped in the OCI mappings.
We dont even get to see the images field in the drop-down list through which we mapped the MDM field with the SRM fields.
    Can any one explain why.....
Full Marks will be given to relevant answers.....

    Hi Swapnil,
There are a number of pre-mapped (hard-coded) fields, which you cannot change:
    OCI Field                                 SRM-MDM Field
    NEW_ITEM-PRICE :                        Price Amount
    NEW-ITEM_CURRENCY :                  Price Currency
NEW-ITEM_PRICEUNIT :                   Price Base Quantity UOM
    NEW_ITEM-UNIT     :                     Price Base Quantity
    NEW_ITEM-PURCHORG  :               Purchasing Organization
NEW_ITEM-PURCHINFREC  :            Purchasing Info Record ID
    NEW_ITEM-CONTRACT    :             Contract ID
    NEW_ITEM-CONTRACT_ITEM :         Contract Item ID
    NEW-ITEM_ATTACHMENT    :       Hyperlink-URL
    NEW-ITEM_ATTACHMENT_TITLE :  Hyperlink-URL Description
For displaying images on SRM, OCI fields are already pre-configured (Pre-Mapped) as mentioned below:
    NEW-ITEM_ATTACHMENT             : Hyperlink-URL
    NEW-ITEM_ATTACHMENT_TITLE    :Hyperlink-URL Description
But only the thing is that for displaying the images on the SRM, you have to make some changes in Configuration UI as follows:
Login into Configuration UI by using user as Master.
then Go to Costomize display tab, select 'List View' and add Image field and save the configuration.
For more information, Just refer the "Business Scenario Configuration Guide of SRM-MDM".
    Hope this will help you
Any more help then please let me know.
    Regards,
    Saurabh...

  • Export all maps (mappings for all dimensions in EXCEL)

    Hi,
it shouldn't be an unknown issue - but unfortunately I can't find the way :-(

Below is updated code with the following changes :
    - Adjusted SaveAs logic to prevent Excel prompts in the event the file already exists, etc. (i.e. DisplayAlerts TRUE / FALSE)
    - Added Range creation logic for each worksheet page. If I really wanted perfect code, could do this better, but it gets the job done.

  • Sharing mappings for single dimensions between locations

    Dear all,
In our application we want to load data into essbase as well as into HFM, so we are using the two different adaptors. We though about using on the one hand locations with the essbase adaptor and on the other hand locations with the HFM adaptor.
The account mapping table is the same regardless of loading into HFM or Essbase. The problem now is, that once a mapping in the account dimension is changed in an essbase location, it should also be automatically changed for the corresponding HFM location. The solution seems to be the creation of a location with a third adaptor that contains the HFM dimensions (until UD4) as well as the additional dimensions (UD5 - ...) for Essbase. This location is then the parent location for the HFM as well as for the Essbase locations. However, according to my understanding, this third adaptor can only be connected with one system (lets say Essbase). This means that once a mapping tabel for the HFM-UD3 is updated, it will result in an error, as FDQM can not find the corresponding UD3 member in Essbase.
    1. Is there a solution for this problem, so that for some dimensions the mapping table refers to essbase metadata while for others the mapping table refers to HFM metadata?
    or:
    2. Does anyone has a proposal for an approach to share the mapping tables of certain dimensions between different locations with different adaptors?
Any comments are very much appreciated.
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
You put some good thoughts in here. Have you tried to use a parent location with the 3rd adapter yet? Depending on whether the adapter of the parent or the child location has priority this might work or not. Give it a try, might be a great reference for the rest of us, so thanks for sharing your results.
The only other solution I see would be to add some scripting to sync the dimensions that you need.
    Regards,

  • How to migrate user mappings for datasources?

Is it possible to migrate / export user mapping data from EP6. I know I can add the information manually into the import file format. How do I get the information out of the EP6 system?
    Cheers

    Hi
It is not a trivial thing to export passwords from OSX Server. There is an article on afp548.com that explains how to do it although as I remember I don't think it worked 100% all of the time. Besides by the time you have gone through the whole process, most of it using the command line, you may as well have simply defined a password policy forcing all users to change their password at next log-on.
The documents are correct. If you export users and re-import them, passwords are not transferred. If your Server is an Open Directory Master and you archive the LDAP database and then restore it (or in your case transfer it to another server) then passwords are retained. To go from 10.3 Server to 10.5 Server the 10.3 Server must be updated to the latest version for that version of the Server. In addition to this Leopard Server can only be configured in Advanced Mode. This is also true for 10.4. This is if you are upgrading an existing 10.3.9 Server to 10.5 Server. You can promote your 10.3.9 Server to Open Directory Master (on 10.3 you did not need DNS running to be able to do this although it is better if it is), and upgrade to 10.5. Or you can promote to OD Master, archive the LDAP database, demote back to Standalone, backup all relevant data and clean install to Leopard, configure required services and restore the LDAP database once Leopard is an OD Master. This may work. As a safety net I would always export users and groups from the local node anyway. You will have to do this in any case if you went to OD Master as you would have to remove users and groups from the local node and import them into the LDAP node.
    Hope this helps, Tony

  • ACS - Replicate Group Mappings for External DB

We have two ACS Solution Engines (4.0), which basically act as primary and secondary AAA servers. Is there a way to replicate the external database group mappings from one ACS to another? Currently, replication is successfully copying the internal ACS group from the primary to our secondary server, but we still have to create the external database group mapping on both the primary and secondary appliances. This is kind of tediuos, and I am worried that someone may setup the mapping on the primary, and forget to set it up on the secondary. Any assistance is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Try replicating the Network Access Profiles. As I recall this includes just about everything!
