SEEBURGER/MSGSPLITTER: There is no attachment to split.  Urgent ..!!!

Hi All,
I have the following scenario.
1) An EDI File is placed in a File location.
2) A File adapter picks the file.
3) The file adapter has a module Processing Sequence of
Classifer, converter and splitter.
4) After picking the EDI File, we should get a Main document and a FunctionACK.
I am facing the problem in step 4.
After picking the file, the main document is not found, Im getting only FunctionACK with status as "R".
Am i missing something here?
- I have only one attachment in this case.
- FuncACK does not tell me which EDI segment/element has error.
- I have configured the message splitter in Seeburger work bench also.
- Iam making sure that the senderID I have maintained in the SB workbench is corresponding to the same senderid in edi file which Iam picking.
Note : Its working perfectly for one message, but its showing the same problem for remaining other interfaces.
Only one thread is there for this problem in SDN, but they haven't mentioned the solution.

    Can you explain:
    "Also make sure the splitter is there for the edi file you are testing."?
    Make sure that the splitter you have maintained in the SB workbench is corresponding to the same edi file you are picking up.
    Also in your above thread you have an error in 997. What is the error you are seeing?

    Go to the Edit -> Preferences-> Playback
    In The bottom section of the page click the drop down menu by Play Audio Using and select Windows Audio Session or something other than "Direct sound" or whatever it displays. Click Okay. This worked for me! I hope it works for you too!

    Delete any traces of Silverlight from your HD, you will be able to send attachments normally thereafter.

    i have scrolled left, right, up and down on iphone4, iphone5 and ipad and the attachment simply does not exist.  It has to be something with the apple mail client setup because for any mail client, if they go to the webemail thru safari, the attachment is there and it can be viewed without issue.
    I know there are plenty of people out there with this issue with the mail clients set up that you access thru the email icon on the iphone and ipad but i cannot find anyone with a resolution.  I cannot find any settings in the mail client setup that has anything to do with attachments or for what attachments can or cannot be read or seen.
    Hopefully someone out there has figured something out because this is an odd one.

    I am using Firefox and have used Firefox in the past.  This just started to occur extremely recently.  I have never had a problem with this in the past.  When I attach a document in an email, it seems fine, even after I send it.  However, the person doesnt get the option to download or view the attachment.  It shows the paper clip as if there was an attachment, but there is no way to open it.  Has this happened to anyone else or if you have some advice I would greatly appreciate some of your help.

    This is a MS Office issue, I'd suggest taking it up with Microsoft or a MS Office forum.

    I wondered if it was possible to include a field on line item reports to show that a there is an attachment to be viewed.  This would be very helpful to users who would then immediately know that a particular posting has an attachment without having to drill into every line to look.

    If it is just 'knowing' about the attachment, you can use any of the text fields to mention the same.  But if you are tagging the attachment from another process after you process this transaction, then you have to make changes in that upload program to update some field to indicate there is an attachment.  You can use Text ID or XTEXT fields for this purpose, if you are using them anywhere.

    I am trying to display an error message in SharePoint 2013. I added the following code

    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display error message when there is an attachment.
    You need to add “properties.Cancel = true;” to your ItemAdding() event receiver.
    You can cancel the event using:
    properties.Status = SPEventReceiverStatus.CancelWithError;
    properties.Cancel = true;
    properties.ErrorMessage = "test";
    The properties.Cancel determines if the event should be cancelled.  The default is false but once you set it to true it will cancel the event when the current execution ends.

    If someone sends you an attachment, it's going to show up where they attached it in their message to you.
    Messages with attachments show a paper clip icon in two places, in the middle column of the Mail window, next to the senders name, and next to the sender's name at the top of the message itself.
    One way to make messages with attachments show more clearly is to create a Mail Rule, like this:
    By setting a colored background to the messages that contain attachments, they'll stand out pretty clearly in the message list.
    Note that there are several different types of attachments in the dropdown menu (where you see Document and PDF above). Keep pressing the plus sign to add different attachment types to your rule so that all will stand out on your list of messages.

  • Cant reply to an email when there is an attachment....

    pop up warning states "A copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipient "%@" was rejected by the server because the user is unknown".
    It only seems to be an issue if there is an attachment and not connected to Wifi.  Also, if I switch email account to Icloud it will send it just fine.
    Anyone know why its doing this?

    Clean the lens first.
    No add on is going to "fix" a broken camera if that is the case.
    The only real solution would be to take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

    No, the senders are in most case sending from corporate servers which are almost certainly not Mac based. Also, remember this happens when I send or receive. So if I send something with an attachment, the attachment will go through, but the sent box will not show the paper clip icon so that I can distinguish the emails sent with attachments versus the emails sent without attachments. I receive the attachments as well, but again the paper clip icon does not show up so that I can distinguish the emails that I have received that contain attachments. Recipients of my e-mails have complianed that when they receive an attachment from me they do not see the paper clip icon which alerts them to the fact that the email contains an attachment.
