Seed box help please

i am trying to set up an arch linux torrent box and i am running in to some issues. everything has been going smooth until i get ready to setup the php. these are the instructions i am using to set it up
Part 3.33 repeating: Setup PHP
Step 1: Type 'sudo nano -w /etc/httpd/cont/httpd.conf' and scroll down to the end of the list of 'LoadModule'. At the end, type 'LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so' and 'Include conf/extra/php5_module.conf' on two separate lines.
Step 2: Find 'open_basedir' and add ':/bin/:/usr/bin/:/usr/local/bin/' to the end of the line (follow the pattern).
Step 3: Find 'allow_url_fopen = Off' and change it to 'allow_url_fopen = On'
Step 4: Type 'sudo /etc/rc.d/httpd restart' to restart the server. There is a script to test PHP on the wiki link at the beggining of this part, do it.

i am having issues with step 2 i cannot seem to find open_basedir for the life of me! is this guide out dated? i have followed everything to a cept the install process was in a slightly diff order then in the guide some please help me thanks in advance

i am really new to all this so bear with me.... do you mean still use arch and use rTorrent for the torrent front end?
basically this is my setup if anyone has a better suggestion of what i should use please don't hesitate to let me know i am open to suggestions.

Needless to say it puts out some heat, right now it great keeps me nice and toasty but i have another old gateway that i want to use. i want something that is not demanding on the system since the gateway is on it's last leg. I will be hooking the gateway up to an internet connection and power no monitor unless i absolutely need to

Calculation based on radio box Help PLEASE....

I am trying to make a text box perform a calculation based on whether or not a radio button is checked or not.
If the radio button named "Basting" in the "Quilting Type" group is checked then the text box "Basting Charge" should find the value of the "Total Square Inches" field and multiply that total by 0.015 and show the new total in the text box as a dollar value, if the radio button "Basting" is not checked the value in the "Basting Charge" field should be "-0-".
I can get the calculation I want from this:
var v1 = getField("Total Square Inches").value; event.value=v1*0.015;
but how to include the radio button function and the "-0-" ?

Okay, I have now made a "check box" with the name of "Basting", not in a grouping.
This is the set up:
Text Field = Total Square Inches
Check Box = Basting
Export Value = Yes
Text Field = Basting Charge
Calculation for "Basting Charge" should be "0" unless the "Basting" check box is used, then it should get the value of the "Total Square Inches" and multiply that number by 0.015 and show this value in the "Basting Charge" box displaying as a dollar figure.
So if the value in the "Total Square Inches" is 12,000
and the "Basting" check box is used
The "Basting Charge" should read "$180.00"
if the check box is not used then it should read "-0-"

Is it not possible to create a text box, fill it with dynamic (data driven) text, but make the font size either scale up or down automatically, so that the entire text box is filled? This is a feature in PrintShop Mail Pro called COPY FIT. but no such feature in Indesign??

lol... it seems to work, but I have another huge problem!
Apparently .CSV files cannot contain page breaks in the data! The data I am trying to merge is a 'letter', with paragraphs, line breaks, etc.,
But, after data merging, it ignores page breaks and only merges the first paragraph of each letter. (sigh)
Solution? Hopefully, an EASY solution. lol as we have thousands of records.
Is there a third party indesign plugin that will allow .xml, or .xls data merge import??

I have lost my Safari url bar ,tried view/customise toolbar but when box opens there is no address bar to drag back can anyone help please

I noticed a couple of days ago that my url bar on my imac was no longer there,I am new to the apple community and I am not sure how to progress with my qustion. I have tried selecting :- view / customise toolbar but the dropdown box which has various options to drag and drop does not show the address bar I am stuck can you help

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

Well, I don't understand this any more than when I posted, but it seems that it's the Animation codec that is the culprit. If I export using DV, there's no problem conforming to 24. Anyone have any ideas why that might be the case?

Help please! I have just installed Snow Leopard and now I can't access my gmail account. I can complete the sign in boxes ok but the blue indicator bar freezes and prevents access to my emails.

I have just installed Snow Leopard, (10.6.3) onto my Macbook Pro and so far it seems to be working fine except that I can't access my gmail account. I can sign in but the blue opening indicator freezes near the end and I can get no further. I'm a bit of a novice at this stuff - help please!

I would run the combo update to get to 10.6.8 in order to get the latest security updates and so forth. Then run Software Update until you system is current.

When you went back to the place where you purchased this phone, & asked them, what did they say?
No one here can help you with this, nor can/will Apple. You need to take this up with whoever you purchased this phone from.

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.

I posted this problem here before, but since I really need to access the sites that receive this error message in less than a month, I had to re-post; hopefully someone who didn't see it before will see it & have a solution for me.
Here are the details: I'm running windows 8.1 & I use Firefox 33.1.1, Pale Moon 25.1.0 or Opera 26.0 as my browsers, (I have IE installed & up-to-date, but I never use it). I followed the 10-point checklist on Adobe & everything was done, except for "uncheck Hardware Acceleration" in Flash 'Settings'; I tried to uncheck it on this site, where it's indicated, as well as in my 4 browsers when I'm doing something that uses Flash, but no matter how hard I try, I can't 'uncheck' the check mark in that tiny box! Since this error problem only affects 5 web sites, & I can watch streaming media on all other sites, I don't think it's an issue.
Here's how this problem began: I was watching a live, streaming nest-cam on 5/09/14 around 11:00AM, (yes, I DO know the exact time & date, because it happened so suddenly while I was watching this website that I'd been watching since the end of February, 2014), when my screen went black. I thought it was probably an Adobe Crash, but when the usual Crash Report window didn't show up, I just closed Firefox & reopened it, expecting to resume watching the nest-cam. When I went back to the site, I got the black screen with the "Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found" message. The chat portion on the site still works, though. I know there are other sites with this nest-cam feed, so I started trying them, but it took several tries for me to find one that didn't get the error message! I posted this problem on "Windows BBS" forum, & someone else posted that the same thing happened to them AND on the same sites! They didn't have a solution, either. I cleared my cache, rebooted my PC & even did a System Restore, but whatever happened in that brief second made using ONLY 5 sites impossible. Here are the sites that receive the error message:

I'm an amateur nest-watcher & it's vital that I have access to these 5 sites, so if anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE tell me!

I have exactly the exact problem described below but do not have a folder with the same name as the volume created under the volume. Please can someone help - I've tried everything. This problem only happened when I upgraded to Dreaweaver CC!

Why does my hard drive keep dismounting...help please I am going bonkers...

Brand new AEBS ver7 firmware
Works fine on the network and to the gateway for the internet.
Plug in a Lacie320 drive tot he USB, it sees it, it appears to work (but slow) for a while. Leave it to backup and when I return the disk has dismounted? Gone
Cant look at logs as I cannot reconnect without rebooting the router at which time the logs all are deleted.
If I try to reconnect it gives me an error connecting to Airport.
Only way out is to reboot AEBS.
If I try to delete files from the hard drive when connected it hangs, computer has timer going round forever message box is open but is not scanning files to delete, it is as if it can't see the drive and is searching...plus it has a small message box I cannot read (half off the screen), only way out of this is a physical reboot (hold power button down for 4 secs)
Now I have the drive on the USB direct to the machine, works great. So is this a firmware issue on the Airport unit?
Help please, I have spent days messing around with this and am about to give it up.

If you look in the iTunes folder on your original hard drive you should find a lot of files named "Temp File". These need to be deleted. I have not figured out what causes these or how to stop them from being made. If anyone knows the answer it would be greatly appreciated. When I delete mine it takes a very long time for them to delete, not the 2 minutes that countdown clock claims!
