Seeing Album Info While Song is Playing?

Does anyone know if there is a way to view the album info, for a song, while it is playing on the ipod mini?

I think it's data triggering, and I've a MIDI USB powered A-800 pro plugged in. I have the MIDI set up as a buzz synth or something, and I inserted a song from itunes to play, and the song worked well, but while the song was playing, I can't play through the MIDI..well I can, but it's just really laggy. So I was searching through the settings, and I clicked "reduce MIDI data transmission" or something, and then the MIDI controller worked perfectly, but then the song wouldn't play at all. I really have no idea why its not working. I may have, while I was searching, clicked something that messed it up. And just to reiterate, if it's important, I saw to circles overlapping each other (like a venn diagram) next to the song title.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

How do you get album info to show when playing songs??

Ever since I let my 2 year old daughter play with my Ipod I can't get the song/album info to display when the song is playing. The screen just says "Now Playing" and there is nothing else displayed on the screen. All the songs diplayed their info when I first got the Ipod, but I can't seem to figure out how to get that info to display again.
Any advice??

Is there a way to see album art in Song View?

I am constantly trying to clean up new tracks as I bring them in. Is there a way to view the Art for albums/tracks in Song View? Also, is there a way to "group" tracks by album in this view like iTunes 10 did? Without visual grouping it makes reading tracks, to verify the album is complete, a real pain.

No, there is no way to quickly preview artwork of selected songs. You have to commit with "Get Info". I agree, the lack of a preview window makes managing the library far more tedious. You can't trust the artwork in "Album" view because iTunes seems to pull that from the cloud, artwork you see may not embedded in the song.
This was the main reason I switched back to iTunes 10.7. The other reason was the inability to open multiple windows. I was trying to create a playlist of the songs on my daughters's iPod touch, and ended up having to create a screenshot of the iPod. Convoluted workarounds for tasks that used to be done in one click is called "progress".

I'm trying to record a song from my MIDI keyboard, and I need to have the song playing while I record, but when the song is playing, the MIDI keyboard's sound delays by about 2-3 seconds, and it distorts the sound bit. Is there a way to fix this? please help!

Get playing info while movie is playing

I creating simple music game. I want to know current playing position info, such as current playing time, while playing the movie.
How can i do it?
I use the MPMoviePlayerController class to play the movie.

HT1725 i downloaded an album and one song only plays for 3 seconds and then skips to the next song. I can't get it to re-download either. What am I supposed to?

This is the second time that I've downloaded an album and one song off of it will play for 3 seconds and then skip to the next song. I've tried everything under the iTunes help and nothing has worked. Any ideas?

Why can't you delete it and redownload it?

Can't see album art in Songs view in iTunes 11, column browser issues

The column browser is still the most effective way for me to navigate my music, but in iTunes 11 it's only available in Songs view. This kinda makes sense, the column browser would be somewhat redundant in the other views, but Songs view is now missing the album art on the left side, which makes it a lot harder to view my music. This is what it looked like in iTunes 10:

The album art was't just pretty, it had a great function of visually separating each of my albums in the list view. Now they all mush together. Sure, I can see the art now in the Artists or Genre view, but not with the column browser. I want to be able to sort by Genre, Artist and Albums - all three. Not one or the other. The column browser is the only way to do this and it just got uglier.
On top of all this, now if I navigate to a certain place in the column browser and then click on anything else in iTunes, like the Artists view, Movies, Podcasts, etc and then jump back to the column browser, the whole column browser is reset and I've lost my place. This never used to happen in iTunes 10.
It's like Apple is trying to marginalize the column browser till no-one wants to use it anymore.

This happened to me. What you need to do is move the song and any backups to the recycle bin. Then go to Itunes store and click 'Purchased' under Quick Links. Go to the song you want and there will be a cloud next to it. Click it and it will redownload. It should download the full song this time.

I downloaded an Album from Itunes Store onto a Windows PC. Some of the songs play fine while others play about half the song and then skip to the next song. But, when I play the same songs from iCloud on my iPhone 4s, they play the whole song. So, why can't itunes play the song in full?
