Seeing the month and date in the finder bar?

In the 'finder bar(?)' I have the day of the week and the time. Is there anyway to have the month and date there too? Instead of having to click on it and seeing it below?

You can do this via the International preference panel.
Click on the Customize button next to the "Dates" section.
Select and copy the entire date there.
Then click on the "Customize" button next to the "Times" section. Make sure the "show" menu is set to medium. Click to the right of the Time so the insertion point is next to the current time, put a separater character such as "|" then past the date into the field.
Then close the window. That's it.

If you put the Apple calendar app on the first screen, it shows the day and date (no month/year). E.g Sunday 20.

When I sync my iPhone 4S to my computer, where is the baseline data and documents coming from? Is the iPhone's set of apps and data the default set or are the apps and data on the computer (in the backup? in iTunes?) the default set?

I am having a great deal of trouble with the upgrade to ios 7 on my 4S. The syncing and the software updates always leave generic icon apps that I have downloaded in the past but have deleted from my phone. But they keep reappearing. A restart of the phone fixes the icons but they are loaded not at the last page of the home screen but on completely random pages, screwing up my app and folder layout.
I want to completely wipe the phone and restore the apps one by one, but I am concerned about whether the data and documents for those apps that I reinstall will be intact. Does the syncing for the apps on the phone retrieve the data from the last backup on the computer? If so, does it only sync the apps on the phone or does it try and reinstall all the apps that there is data for in the backup? In other words, does the resulting set of apps and data reflect the current state of the phone or the saved state of the backup?

Apple guys are deleting posts. I have found my posts have been deleted. Apple should MUST let us downgrade at least to previous release from current which was working fine.

I installed the HP Office Jet 4622 All-in-one Printer and everything works wonderfu. However on the test page for the fax the time and date are showing Jan-00-00 00:00AM. I do not know how to change the date and time. Please help. Thanks.

Use the Setup (wrench icon) button on the front of the printer to look through the settings menu to set the printer time and date.

Looks like the app DataMan Pro tracks usage by app. Don't know anything about it but you could check the feedback in the app store to see if it might help identify the problem app(s).

IPhone has WEIRD letters for the months and days of the year !

One morning I woke up to find that the DAYS and MONTHS of my year are in WEIRD letters ! Here is an image to clarify my problem:

I just decommissioned my windows pc for a mac power book. How can I get my ipad to sync with the new computer without erasing all the apps and data on the ipad?

I just decomissioned my windows pc in favor of a new (to me) MacBook Pro. When I attempt to sync my iPad I get a warning that I will erase all content on the ipad in order to sync with the new computer. How do avoid erasing all the data on the iPad, and get the iPad and the new Mac/iTunes to be friends?

Best option is to use Windows Migration Assistant as Ralph noted.

Or if you only want iTunes (Migration Assistant let's you choose) copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from your PC to /Music/ on the Mac.
FYI: A MacBook is not a PowerBook. PowerBooks were discontinued in 2005.

How do I display BOTH the Time AND Date in the menu bar

When I, System Preferences > Date and Time > Clock.
I choose "show date and time in menu bar".
But I only get the Time and Day of week, but NOT the date.
I am trying to get the display to look something like this.

I tried a program called 'MagiCal' that fixed this "bug" with OS 10.4, however with 10.5 'MagiCal' prevented my mail sounds from working properly (so it had to go).
Any ideas on how I can display the date and the time with 10.5.1

How can i get the month and year of the current open Periode?

At the beginning of each month the booking period for the new month was not open,but i need to book material automatically with the last day of the old month. The booking period will change at the first working day between 13 and 17 a clock. when the booking period was changed i have to book with the current date.
