Seeking creator of Mac based Medical eXpense Tracking program

Anyone know how to reach James Tarpley, creator of the Mac shareware program Medical eXpress Tracking? The program is available at http://web.mac.com/jtarpley/Medical_eXpense_Tracking_v_8.1/Introduction.html, but there's no Contact Us link that could lead to reaching him. I downloaded the program for trial, but can't get more info about it or the cost.

Previously tried it and found it non-functional. Rejection message as follows:

Scratch that--it looks like it's no longer available.
There's the Medical Tracker by Eamonn and Ian llc, but 1) that hasn't been updated since 2012 and 2) there's no way I'm doing all that data entry on a mobile device. I need something that works on an iMac.
I think Quicken has something decent, but only for PCs.
I've not found a spreadsheet that tackles this subject with sufficient detail or clarity, nor am I skilled enough to create one that does.
Medical bills and insurance EOBs are so numerous and confusing--how can it be that no one has created something in response to the need to track this stuff? And the co-pays, Lord!, the co-pays! Someone please tell me that a product exists to help with detailed medical expense tracking!

Z30 Business Expense Tracker App

I am searching for an app for the new Z30 that will let me download pictures of receipts and essentially combine them into one PDF adn track those expenses. There are dozens out there to choose from, but only 5 that I have found that say they are BB friendly. However, when I go to the site to download, it says "Unvailable for this device" at the top of my phone. Are these apps just not Z30 ready or is there something else going on?
Open to hearing of apps that you have seen, I can't seem to find any in BB World. One's I have researched... ProOnGo, Shoebox... Expensify appears as if it may work, TBD. Any thoughts are welcome!

Employee wise Budget and Expense Tracking in FM-BCS

Hi Experts,
We have Activated FM-BCS to one of our client for budget tracking. Our client needs Employee wise expenses tracking for better and effective control. There is a requirement of capturing the budget Amount and Actual Amount on the basis of Expenses wise, Department Wise and Employee wise. For Example: Client wants to maintain the budget Employee wise Department wise and Expenses. Like
Employee No (PERNR): 1234
Department (Cost Center): Marketing
Expenses (GL Code): Telephone Expenses
Grouping of Expenses: Operating Expenses
Tracking Method: How much one Employee 1234 has budget for Telephone expenses and how much he has spend over a particular period.
So we have mapped as follows in FM-BCS to address the above issue:
Cost Center = Fund Center
GL Code = Commitment Items
Group of Expenses = Fund
Through FMBB, we have given the budget values as follows:
Fund+Fund Centers+Commitment Items. And actuals also we could capture.
But we are not able to map the Employee numbers in FM. How to accommodate / map the employee nos to FM Account Assignments. Can we map employee numbers to Funded Programs (700 employees in number and Overhead GL codes are around 50)

Hi,
To start with, choosing 'fund' for representing group of expenses, does not make much sense. Your expenses are already mapped by commitment items, being representative object for G/L. If you want to group those, you can use simple hierarchy of commitment items. 'Fund', when used properly, belongs more to budget domain, rather than to the expenses. For example, it could represent the source of the budget.
Secondly, having budget control on employee level sounds bit strange. Is your client going to budget 700 employees with different combinations of G/Ls? For what reason? And what happens if employee exceeds the budget? They won't pay him? All this does not make much sense. I understand, if you want to collect statistical data on the expenses made by employees. You can do it either via CO (internal order) or via self-developed reports based on PERNR.

Receipt/expense tracker app for Q10

could someone please tell me what app I can download to my Q10 that takes photos of the receipt and automatically converts to expense report. Everytime I seem to find one that suits like 'receipts pro', I get the message "an error occured processing your request". I have google and read forums without sucess. I hope you can help.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Well, how have to determined no signal is being recieved to your mac?
Have you got something that shows the actual signal? Or have you just been trying to control a VST? What software are you using by the way?
I personnally went with a AKAI MPK25, because it's made already mapped for logic & ableton etc, so it just makes things incredibly easy.
I would suggest you return it if you can as a dead unit & perhaps look at something else a bit easier?
Otherwise, if you just want to get this working we can have a look a bit deeper.
And driver? OS X driver?

Thanks, Ian. Yeah, that's how I do it now...or with the controls in the left side pane. Still, I would have liked that quick on-the-spot edit capability...especially while sketching.

In order to be cross platform you must be using the Open Type version of all fonts to cause the least disruption. Macs can read and process the Windows .ttf type format but PCs can't process Mac formatted type. Most recent versions also cannot use the older PS Type 1 fonts.

Mini Store Doesn't Recommend Based On Selected Track

I really like the Apple Mini Store and how it shows other songs or albums by the same artist that you're playing. What I can't understand is why it makes recommendations on some tracks but doesn't provide any info on others. I can't seem to find any common link to the tracks it finds and the ones it doesn't. For example, I have some tracks where I tell it to download the artwork and it finds the artwork without any problems. But when I look at the Mini Store, it's still showing the generic new release, new songs listing, not recommendations based on the song, album or artist. In fact, I can click on the arrows next to the song name and it takes me to the exact album in the store. I've made sure the spelling of everything on the track is exactly the same as iTunes has it listed but that doesn't even always work. Then there are some tracks which aren't for sale on iTunes but it shows others by the same artist and then of course I also see some that are exact matches but it's very inconsistent.
Any ideas on why it seems to provide recommendations based on some tracks but not others?

... and one more thing. How do I send feedback to Apple regarding this? Previously, I found a "Feedback" page where an email could be sent to the ITunes Dept. Now , I can no longer find it, but rather a Contact iTunes Store Support page

802.1x mac based authentication

We have Cisco ACS 3.3 is there a way to do authentication based on mac address, instead of username and password? We are looking to stop things such as user purchased access points and what not. Any info would be great.

Yes you are right, I misunderstood you. I was under the impression that you were talking about doing MAC based authentication on your AP's, not the switches. That is why I made mention to port security.
The 2 options would be standard port security or 802.1x port security if you switches support this.
In order to use the 802.1X port security, your switch would need to support it and the clients connecting to the switch would require a supplicant (EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, etc) in order for them to work, not by MAC address alone.
You can configure standard port security on the switch which will accomplish your intentions and not even need to use the ACS server.

Install Creator on Mac OS

I downloaded Early Access, 30 day trial version SJC for Mac OS, The downloaded file is 'Creator-ea-mac-en.dmg'.
Double clicking on this file,I am getting a messege 'no mountable file systems'
can anybody tell me how to open this .dmg file?

Best networked printer for a MAC based network?

I may regret asking this :"), but what is the best network printer to use on a MAC based network? I have been the victim on the bloatware HP drivers for years, and am really sick of them. But what do I purge this nightmare for? Canon (like the MX860) looks interesting and is multifunction (a requirement). Lexmark seems to making a comeback, and Brother as well. Epson has seemed to do OK as well. Who has the most reliable drivers for the OSX platform, updates them the most regularly, and seems to actually care about Apple (as opposed to pandering to the Windows crowd almost exclusively).?

I did my homework for network printer/scanner/fax and came up with the Brother Color Laser MFC-9840 CDW. It's got every button and whistle, and they all work on a Mac or PC network. You can scan from the machine and pick which Mac to send the scan to, or scan from a Mac. Sheet feeder works for fax and scan, real duplex printing. All works on Leopard. They have lower models which will also work, but without the Color, or Wireless (which we don't use).
I've seen great on-going driver development with the latest operating systems...

I love Apple, don't get me wrong. Just, i see Mac is more expensive than Windows.

Windows is an operating system for which you pay money. Mac's operating system, Mavericks, is free.
If you are speaking of hardware, then you need to make a specific hardware comparison of apples with apples, not apples and oranges.
