Seeking schematic for 683029-501 Motherboard. Is this available or am I dreaming to get ahold of this?
Installed new power receptacle and applied power....machine still dead. Suspect reversed polarity voltage made its way past plug receptacle electronics and took out something on the motherboard....hopefully diode or fuse.
On a personal mission to make a board level repair.

There is nowhere that you can download it from. You need your Mac OS X install disk. If you can't find it, you'll need to replace it. Then you can install Mail from that disk.

I don't know why but I have Firefox optimized for Yahoo! and I hate Yahoo. Is there someway I can get rid of it and get another version

Not much to add. I hadn't used Firefox for sometime. It was already on my MAC laptop and I had so much trouble with Safari recently that I decided to go back to Firefox. However, I just realized it is called FirefoxOptimized for Yahoo. And I hate it.
Is there some way I can get a plain Firefox ?

I'm also experiencing the same issue.
I've had to reset my password 3 times in the last 3 days.
At first, I couldn't get my email. I sweated it out for 12 hours, reset my password and I was good to go again. 48 hours later, I ran into the same issue. Only problem is, not only do I get the 'Incorrect username or password' on my device, but my iCloud.com login no longer works. so now I can't read my messages on the web OR on my device/computer.
I have went to appleid.apple.com and reset my password there: no luck.
I have reset the settings on my device: no luck.
I have Erase and Installed iOS 6.1.2: no luck.
I have restored my device back to factory settings: no luck.
I have performed a DFU restore: no luck.

Someone would have to decide which articles are good.
If it was an individual who did that then they could have some personal bias - intentionally or unintentionally.
Or they could potentially be accused of some personal bias.
The competition uses a panel of people to rate each article in the monthly competition.
You can see previous months results and of course those articles entered in the competition are usually the best efforts of the authors and hence pretty good.

"How much more of this wiki junk do we need?"
Well, probably proportionate to the forum junk, gallery junk, and blog junk!
With MSDN and TechNet Blogs, Microsoft employees have the opportunity to post solutions. And instead of having to answer the same question each time, you can just link to the blog!
Similarly, the Gallery gives the opportunity to post the code and host it in a nice download. Then you just link to the Gallery item instead of re-writing similar code in the forums!
And Wiki brings the blog capability to the community! Not only can you write up a nice solution and just link to it each time, but you can also team together with the rest of the community to build a great solution!

Warranty for manufacturer refurbished motherboard

i need to find out if the manufacturer refurbished motherboard i purchased from eBay is under warranty. i was told that the board was part of a large order so they didnt receive any paperwork for it.
i can get s/n if necessary, mobo is for a HP NC6400 with discrete graphics.

I am not sure if this is a used motherboard or new one. however HP provides 90 days warranty on its parts when purchased from HP. also, most of the warranty for any internal parts are not provided individually, it all covered based on product serial no(product warranty).
you may need to check with ebay purchased these from HP? if yes, did they buy it with warranty or not. based on agreement between seller and manufacturer you can seek help to get warranty. hope it helps

My iCloud is not syncing between my mac and my iPhone and shows the following error message CoreDAVHTTPStatusErrorDomain error 501. what does this mean?!

I have recently upgraded to an iphone 5S 4G and also updated my mac with the latest software so that i can use the icloud to back up all my stuff. It doesn't seem to be working with my contacts at all and recently added ones are disappearing, old ones are duplicating etc. The contacts icloud has the following error message CoreDAVHTTPStatusErrorDomain error 501. and I have no idea what it means. Can anyone help?

I had this problem before. I like to disable extra services to speed up my computer and I disabled the Apple Mobile Device service and had to re-enable this.
You can do that by going Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Once you have gone to the services window, look for Apple Mobile Device and right-click. Select "Properties". There should be some information about the service as well as the label "Startup Type" with a drop-down menu beside it. If it says "disabled", that is your problem; Change the selection to anything except disabled (Automatic is easier and ensures that you can sync as soon as itunes opens).
If this doesn't work, I would look into your anti-virus' settings. Good Luck!

im looking for a new motherboard for my Satelite M30X-134! I was offered one with the Toshiba number K000019680 with the advice that this one is for all M30X notebooks. Im a little irritated, because my thoshiba trader told me, that I need one with the number K000019210. Could someone tell me, if the K000019680 goes also fine with my notebook?

That seems to be a picture of an early P35 Platinum,Neo2-FR/FIR or P35 Neo2 beta revision.
These boards basically all have the same PCB and use the same BIOS. Where did you find the picture?

None of these boards were released with only 3 SATA ports. The picture was probably used for early marketing purposes when no finished exemplars were available.
